I guess you musn't mean that God always answers the prayers of conservative Christians since statistics would clearly show that they lose family members to illness and accident, lose their houses, get caught in scandals, die, etc. etc. along with progressive Christians and the non-Christian world.
So I'm thinking you mean that God hears the prayers of conservative Christians but not others - or more than others - even though he doesn't always answer them.
Seems like that would be hard either to prove or disprove. You'd have to be sitting right there with God, listening when the prayers come in... Also, that quote about "the righteous" - it's not altogether clear who that would refer to. A believing Christian blew up that building in Oklahoma city. The crusaders and conductors of the Inquisition who slowly tortured people to death were believing Christians. Righteous??
It is nice, in any case, to believe that God has a special feeling for oneself and those who believe and interpret things in the same way that we do. That said, it seems to me that this form of enjoyment may be more of the flesh than the Spirit.
