All good scriptures, Mel. Is there something you wanted to develop here, or did you want us to read the verses and come to whatever conclusion we might reach on our own? Just curious...

There is, of course, more than this. Read the context of any of these or, better yet, all of them, and it will become much richer in meaning...

Praying without ceasing is more than words to me. It can include words. It could be moanings from The Spirit. It can be things you do while mindful of God and what he is saying to you.

I think it means to always be mindful of who it is you pray to. Keep that Great "I AM" on your mind and be in awe of who it is you are constantly in the presence of...

    LOL!

Amen, bro! Couldn't resist teasing you a little, since the last few times I've checked your blogs the posts have been much shorter than normal, without any of your usual exposition. I agree with your comments, though; God's Word definitely is the favored source material for our teaching. Still, I like to know why someone picked a particular set of verses to put together in a post, so I had to ask... :-)

Have a blessed night, my brother! Don't stay up too late!

Awesome, awesome, awesome verses - so well put together. No way I could have ever said it better. I am sure God has/will speak to many (including myself) regarding these scriptures.

    A blessing indeed

    God bless
