    It's interesting how the Israelites were often whining about something in spite of the fact that they always received everything they needed. Maybe the problem is that they didn't always receive everything they wanted. Hmmm...

    Jeanette, you have a good point. When my nephew was about 3, he "needed" everything. He couldn't distinguish yet between a need and a want. Sometimes we're the same way; we think things are necessary when we really could get by without them, and we fuss because we don't have them.

    Thanks all for your comments! I am afraid receiving what we need has never been very satisfying! Seems like the more we get the more we want... and somehwere I remember learning until we are satisfied with what we have... what we have will never satisfy us.
