Hi Joy,
We need to listen to God and walk His way, not our own!
I wanted to let you know that you peaked my curiousity and I googled "Aglow".
I found out quite a bit about your group and was happy with the things that they believe in.
I am just not sure, that speaking in tongues is necessary for all of the Body of Christ.
I will have to do some more investigating on it for my own sake.
I am sure you must love the fellowshipping and sharing with these wonderful Christian women.

Not all the ladies in Aglow are Spirit filled and speak in tongues, just the ones in leadership.
I have been filled with the Holy Ghost (speaking in tongues) since I was 10.
Speaking in tongues is encouraged in the New Testament. To me it is my "heavenly language" and allows me to talk to the Father when I don't know how to pray or as an intercessor for someone.
Satan can read our thoughts and hear our prayers to God, however, He cannot know what we are saying when we speak in tongues.
Just thought this might be helpful.
