Prayer from Psalm 1:1-3

Dear Lord,

We lift up our children, teens, and young adults to you.  We ask that they would not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.  Please bless them for avoiding these situations.

Cause our children to delight in your law and meditate on it day and night.

May they be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.  Please prosper whatever they do.

In the name of Jesus we pray,
