The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

    Sat, Mar 16th - 11:51AM

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

    Romans 16:17-18 (KJV)

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

    1 Cor 1:10 (KJV)

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

    1 Cor 3:2-4 (KJV)

The word division in the Greek means: disunion, i.e. (figurative) dissension :- division, sedition. The Bible is clear there is only one gospel that God has set forth for the whole world. God forbids divisions in the body. In God’s eyes these denominations show carnality, spiritual weakness, and a lack of personal biblical integrity, and making an idol of self. We must serve God based upon the whole gospel of God.

You have to wonder why do so many denominations exist, when the Bible does not support any. These are man made agendas that are attached to and added to the word of God. These are man made attempts to be righteous by tradition, and made up stuff for their own purposes. What does the Bible say about John's water baptism, that John agrees fully with:   12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and shall be filled with the Holy Ghost even from his mother's womb.16.  And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

The Bible is clear, John's baptism was to get the people ready to hear the Messenger of the gospel. Every single denomination has added something to the Bible that contradict its message, so that they can uphold their error. There are going to be some surprised people who attempt to stand before the judgement seat of God who bypassed Jesus, to claim common water saved them, or that their denomination saved them. Jesus told you too why don't you believe Him? Repent before its too late!!

It's a crying shame that some are seeking to build up their ministry by culling certain people from among the flock. Some only want people who are rich, or financially staple families. In doing so they hope to enrich themselves and perpetuate their ministries. Certainly we should minister to them, but never neglect that God intends the Gospel for all people, and none should be excluded.

When we stand before Jesus all of us will have to account for what we did with His message. I think few will be foolish enough to say that they preached just to the rich, or just to families. I think few if any would say they preached John the baptist, Luther, or the traditions of any denomination. No one will stand justified before Jesus Christ other than those who believed, lived and preached the Bible.

If we preach to the rich, let's tell them not to trust in their riches, remember the poor, and believe the Gospel message the same as God requires of all Christians. If we preach to families, let us tell them marriage is to be an example of Christ and His church, but that there willl be no marriage in heaven. If we preach to those who are single let us tell them to abstain from sexual sin, and live holy lives. God is no respecter of persons, unless the Lord builds a house the laborers theirin labor in vain.
