Heb 4:12For
the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged
sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart. 13Neither
is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are
naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Holy
people God’s word is the super microscope which always discerns perfectly,
without error the inner intents/thoughts of both the good and the evil.
God
gives us His word through the Bible which absolutely and alone serves as the
standard for the body of Christ and even the whole world. 2Ti 2:15 - Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The Bible contains the sole body of knowledge alone that sets forth God's everlasting, final, and complete standard for whom He accepts and whom He will never accept under any circumstances whatsoever. Any teachings that contradict biblical truth must absolutely be rejected. In fact, holy people, all teachings must be checked against scripture to determine if it has any validity.
Through
God’s word we can even examine others and even ourselves: 2Co 13:5 - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in
the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus
Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Holy
people, yes, we must, we can examine others as well as ourselves frankly and honestly, because God commands that we do so. We look to the
Bible which has laid out in general, specific and the minutiae every aspect of
the expected quality of the Christian character, and the character of those who cannot ever be considered Christians.
Jesus
Christ is the perfect and everlasting high priest, Saviour who knows His people
intimately and well. In His omnipresence He indwells His people. In His omniscience Jesus is
our eternal Advocate who knows everything about us and is, always standing before the throne of the Father making
intercession for us. In His omnipotence, He will aid us beyond anything we could ever hope for.
Heb 4: 14Seeing then that we have a
great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let
us hold fast our profession. 15For we have not an high
priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in
all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come
boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to
help in time of need.
Christians
should never be hesitant or afraid to come to Jesus for help for any needs. In
prayer to Him we can be confident to find sure help in the face of any trials,
and strength for the journey all the way home. Our great high priest Jesus
Christ has experienced everything His people have experienced, yet without sin,
He knows all about us; our strengths, weakness, needs. He can and will help us
to the uttermost. There is nothing that we can hide from Jesus Christ. We should never attempt to hide anything from Him in the first place, as this is impossible. Instead we must
quickly fly to Him for help. He is always there for that very purpose. love serola

IN HEBREWS
Heb,
4: 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did
from his. 11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall
after the same example of unbelief.
Labor:
to hasten, make haste. to
exert one's self, endeavour, give diligence. When God declares He rested from
His works, brothers and sisters, it does not mean He was tired and decided to
take a holiday. What it means, saints (G40 hagios) is that God found in everlasting
truth that His work was and continues to be eternally perfect, finished and
complete, there was and continues to be nothing further for Him to do regarding
it.
In
the same way, everyone who believes in the final, finished and complete atoning
gospel of Jesus Christ have entered into God’s rest for by faith they are
convinced, convicted, fully persuaded and in agreement with God that the work
He has done through the atoning blood of His Son Jesus Christ is completely
sufficient, effective and eternal for everlasting salvation. Believers grasp
the eternal truth that even their faith in believing is derived from the mercy
of Jesus Christ: Eph
2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Phl
3:9 - And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is
of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Ti 3:5Not by works of righteousness which we have
done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration,
and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus
Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be
made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Nothing in Heb 4: 11 is saying in any manner whatsoever
that Christians can lose their salvation.
It is essential to understand, holy people, many parents warn their children
not to do or be like this or that person. However, our heavenly Father is
greater and wiser than any human parent. God commands His children not to do or be like
certain persons-here in the example of unrepentant unbelievers. God is not the
author of confusion. He declares the truth and warns in the example of
unrepentant unbelievers, that they will never be saved, their unrepentant unbelief
is never accepted, and is not a harmless, benign, static condition. The falling away of the unrepentant unbeliever,
therefore, is not by accident but by their own choosing.
2Pe 2:21 - For it had been better for them not to have known the way
of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered unto them.
No Christian should
follow their example, but remain steadfast in love, obedience and trust in God.
And this we will surely do by the power of Almighty God. The
Bible is clear, there is a great difference between unrepentant unbelievers, and true believers. The true believer can have doubt that arises out of a lack of
knowledge or understanding of the word of God regarding Jesus Christ and even
salvation. However, that being said, the true believer will not continue to
doubt, but come to believe. In contrast even after the unrepentant unbeliever
is fully informed and taught the truth of scripture he or she will continue to
reject the word of God, therefore the Bible declares this person to be a
heretic. Titus 3:10A man that is an heretick after the first
and second admonition reject; 11Knowing
that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
God
commands us to stop wasting time on people who reject the truth of scripture after
they have been fully taught the truth. We are to move on for there are many
others who will hear and believe the truth of the Bible as they have been
taught. ( See Mat 10:14; Mar 6:11; Luk 9:5).

IN HEBREWS
Heb 4:8For if Jesus had given them
rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of
another day.
9There remaineth therefore a rest to
the people of God.
God
through the Bible keeps on expounding the eternal truth. The people trusting in
the Law back then (the nation of Israel) for eternal salvation never got it. The
people found no rest because in vain they continually offered their own works
in the sacrifices for their sins, each and every time they sinned.
In
the same way anybody since then, who in error claims salvation through the Law,
in any way shape or manner will not get it either, because it cannot be gained
through works of the Law. God keeps on expounding on this in general,
specifically and in the minutiae. The word of God is explicit, exclusive exhaustive, in laying out the
inerrant truth of God for all mankind- ALL must come to Him through Jesus
Christ alone for all eternity or not at all for all eternity.
There
is no salvation apart from Jesus Christ alone. There are no alternatives, or
plan B’s to salvation. There are no co-redeemers (including one’s self or one’s
own works), there are no co-redemptrixes, denominations, doctrines,
institutions, organizations, idols, various people, angels, animals, things
animate, inanimate, etc. There are no “
almost” or “half saved” persons.
Everyone
is commanded by God to come believing all the gospel of Jesus christ for all
eternity or not at all.
It is clear, brethren, God told all Israel
that He would send them a Deliverer, a Saviour, who would bring in a new
covenant under which all who believe in Him would be saved-forgiven and
delivered forever from all of their sins. This new covenant would be final finished
complete and eternal under which people
would no longer have to wear themselves out vainly, continually trying to offer
countless sacrifices that only gained temporary forgiveness but had to be repeated
for each time they sinned. Some believed, but the nation of Israel as a whole
did not.
So
some today do not believe outside of and even amongst the church.
Brothers
and sisters, God commands that if any
come to us with the sob story that no matter how hard they try, or how long
they hear the gospel they continue to “suffer” and be a “helpless victim” of
unbelief, we must tell them the truth.
Believers
should not enable such people in any way by telling them falsely that “God is sympathetic,
accepting and understands” their unrepentant unbelief for He absolutely does not.
False teachers/false brethren vainly try to twist scripture to mean that God
feels sorry or badly for those who are unrepentant in unbelief: Mar
9:24; Jhn 20:27 -28. These verses absolutely have nothing to do with unrepentant unbelief and
therefore cannot and do not nullify God’s everlasting punishment, rejection,
and condemnation for all unrepentant unbelievers. If anything they warn by their conclusion that when people are presented with the evidence of scripture they believe, and do not remain in stubborn unbelief.
Christians
must tell unrepentant unbelievers along with the whole world the whole gospel
of Jesus Christ: Jhn 3:36 - He that believeth
on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abideth on him.
Rev 21:8 - But the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death. love serola

IN HEBREWS
Heb
4:1Let us therefore fear,
lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you
should seem to come short of it. 2For unto us was the gospel
preached, as well as unto them: but
the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that
heard it.
3For
we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my
wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from
the foundation of the world.
4For
he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did
rest the seventh day from all his works. 5And in this place
again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing
therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was
first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7Again,
he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it
is said, To
day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Brothers
and sisters, throughout the Bible we plainly see that God takes unbelief in Him
as an extremely personal insult the-same as blasphemy or calling Him a liar.
Nevertheless, in His mercy He takes the hammer and chisel of the truth of His inerrant
eternal word to stony self- hardened hearts so that they will know the penalty
for any who chose to remain in unrepentant unbelief-which is eternal condemnation
and damnation. No one will ever be able to use the excuse that they did not
know that God condemns unrepentant unbelief.
Holy
people, let us carefully note that absolutely nowhere in the Bible does it declare that
people can be forced to be unrepentant unbelievers or the devil can be blamed
for unrepentant unbelief in the hearts of any person, who rejects God. Some try
to twist various scriptures to claim people can be forced against their will to
be unrepentant unbelievers or that the
devil is to blame for people not believing in God: 2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it
is hid to them that are lost: 2Co 4:4 - In whom the god of this
world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest
the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
shine unto them.
Act 5:3 - But Peter said, Ananias,
why hath Satan filled thine heart to
lie to the Holy Ghost, and to
keep back part of the price of the land?
Luk 22:3 - Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot,
being of the number of the twelve.
What
these verses mean is that unrepentant unbelievers are lost in the first place,
therefore they willingly open themselves for the devil to enter or use them to
promote the evil desires they have which are aligned with the devils. The devil
has absolutely no power to enter or overcome any true Christian, for God is
invincible, all powerful, and faithful to keep His people in His hands for all
eternity.
False
teachers willingly preach the doctrines of devils that they receive from their
father the devil. Among them is that God understands anyone’s unbelief in Him
and loves and feels so sorry for anyone “struggling” with unbelief in Him. Therefore when they die, the Lord will take pity on them and feel so sorry for their suffering and “struggling” with unbelief in Jesus Christ that
He will let them into heaven because they suffer so badly the pains of
unbelief.
The
Bible quickly, explicitly, declares the eternal truth: Jhn 3:36
- He that believeth on the Son
hath everlasting life: and he that believeth
not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
Jhn
8:24 - I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your
sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die
in your sins.
THE
SOLE CAUSE OF UNREPENTANT UNBELIEF
Jhn 10:26 - But ye believe not, because ye are not
of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Brothers
and sisters, when God declares there is no excuse for the unrepentant
unbeliever, that is what He absolutely means for all eternity.
God’s
word is absolute inerrant truth. It is given to let the believer as well as the
unbeliever amongst them know that unbelievers are excluded from any part in His
kingdom forever. For the believer alone is granted eternal life. Make no mistake about the fact that this message is intended not only for the believer, but also for those who do not believe amongst authentic Christians.
The word of God stands absolutely sure, all
unrepentant unbelievers choose to harden their own hearts and have no one to blame
but themselves for choosing to reject the only sole source of eternal life Jesus
Christ.
Act
5:39 - But if it be
of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Understand
this, holy brethren, anyone found willingly and unrepentantly perverting
scripture, whomsoever and wheresoever they may be, is fighting against God and have
already lost, for God is all powerful, unbeatable and invincible. love serola

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
God’s
train keeps on running-do not harden your own heart in unrepentant unbelief, for
anyone doing so condemns themselves to
hell by rejecting the truth..
Heb
3 15While it is said, To day if ye will
hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
God
commands anyone hardening their hearts to right now, without delay listen to
Him, stop making God angry, repent of
unbelief, and turn to God in faith and walk in obedience, tomorrow might be too
late.
Heb
3:16For some,
when they had heard,
did provoke: howbeit not all that
came out of Egypt by Moses. 17But with whom was he grieved forty
years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the
wilderness? 18And to whom sware he that they should
not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19So we see that they could not enter
in because of unbelief.
God
is not declaring that everybody in the church back then was unfaithful, but addressing that there are “ some” among the faithful
who were.
God
is laying it out cold, that just as unrepentant unbelievers were rejected from His
kingdom back then, even presently now there is absolutely NO ticket of
admission for any and all who reject the inerrant eternal truth of God, by choosing
to remain in stubborn unbelief.
We
must be wary, brothers and sisters of false teachers preaching the false
doctrine of “the permissive will of God”. This evil false doctrine purports that God has not one will but two: His
sovereign will, and secondly His permissive will. What these false teachers
really mean is that even though God hates sin, He allows people to sin if that
is their will to do so.
There
is no such thing as the permissive will of God. The Bible declares explicitly,
exclusively that God has One eternal will alone: His SOVEREIGN WILL: Jesus did not come to do His own will and He is the sole
example for all men to follow: Heb 10:7 Then
said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy
will, O God.
Luk 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in
heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in
heaven, so in earth.
Jas
4: 13Go
to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into
such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14Whereas ye know not
what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is
even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we
shall live, and do this, or that. 16But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17Therefore to him
that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. So if anyone knows God's will for all men and fail to do it they are sinning against Him.
Romans
1:18-32 ESV / 3For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
For what can be known
about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible
attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly
perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been
made. So they are
without excuse.
For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to
him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were
darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, ...
Holy
people, God has One will HIS SOVEREIGN WILL ALONE. ANYONE WHO DENIES THIS ETERNAL
TRUTH IS A FOOL. There are absolutely no optional choices to the sovereign will of God.
God
says this not man, but every man, this includes women too should believe God and
never man, for it is impossible for God to lie.
Anyone
unrepentantly choosing to put their own wills above the sovereign will of God should
not congratulate themselves and break into a happy dance, for they will
eventually be doing it in hell-dancing in the pains of eternal torment and
misery.
Everything,
every work that men do both the saved and the unsaved is written down and kept
for eternal record by God. For those who believe and obey the everlasting
gospel of Jesus Christ, their names are written in God’s book of life. This outcome
is eternally different for those who remain in unrepentant unbelief: Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Regarding those who live by their so called
permissive wills above the will of God: Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,
neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they
which are written in the Lamb's book
of life.
The Bible clearly gives the eternal description
of all who defile, work abomination, makes up lies who will be cast into the
lake of fire.
Rev 22:15 For without are dogs,
and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever
loveth and maketh a lie.
Do
not mess with God, do not pervert or tamper with His sovereign will nor the eternal
truth of His word: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away
his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book.

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Brothers
and sisters, we cannot help but notice how God keeps forcefully hammering out
the fact that the whole Law must be obeyed and the penalty for disobedience is
condemnation, death and the curse. Since no mere human being can actually keep the Law, as
ordained by God, these terrible consequences are inescapable. The complete fulfillment of the Law would be accomplished later through the final finished and complete work of Jesus Christ, which would bring in the new covenant whereby all who believe will be saved.
This
is the reason why those who preach that there are still parts of the Law that
Christians must obey are in gross error. The Bible reminds us over and over it is gross error to fuse Law and Grace
together. The truth is that God forbids any and all attempts to combine Law and
grace together. Gal 5:4 Christ
is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye
are fallen from grace.
No
doubt some think the Law is valid for Christians today due to ignorance,
however the righteous will repent the wicked never will. The wicked are willingly
ignorant, that is intentionally rejecting the truth, the wrath of God abiding
on them.
THE DANGER OF UNBELIEF
Heb 3: 7Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the
wilderness:
9When your fathers tempted me, proved
me, and saw my works forty years.
10Wherefore I was grieved with that
generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have
not known my ways.
11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
I.Harden, meaning: to make hard, harden
II.metaph.
A. to
render obstinate, stubborn
B. to
be hardened
C. to
become obstinate or stubborn
Dearly
beloveds, who are those who have hardened hearts? These serve as an
example of all who despite hearing and seeing the truth of God expressed in the
evidence of His word and works, deliberately, intentionally still refuse to
believe, and chose to harden their own hearts against Him. As a consequence, God has eternally excluded
them from ever entering into His eternal rest. This is a warning to the
so-called “liberal theologians” who promote the lie that God’s word is not
absolute. This is also a warning to the unbelievers camouflaged behind the façade
of being fashionably intellectual modernists who would pervert the scripture to
make it fit with so called more modern and enlightened times. Its also a
warning to the blatantly unrepentant unbeliever in and out of the church as
well as those hiding behind pious labels of the certainty
of their eternal damnation. love serola

JESUS THE FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST- GREATER THAN MOSES
Heb 3: 1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers
of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our
profession, Christ Jesus; 2Who was faithful to him that
appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. 3For this man was
counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the
house hath more honour than the house. 4For every house is
builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. 5And Moses verily was faithful
in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to
be spoken after; 6But Christ as a son over
his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the
rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Brothers
and sisters, the Bible makes it absolutely clear that anyone depending on Moses
or anything else other than the Saviour Jesus Christ for their salvation are
still dead in their sins and must repent and turn to Jesus Christ the sole and
only source of salvation and eternal life. Salvation is exclusive, explicit,
final, and eternally through Jesus Christ alone. Jesus Christ is appointed by God as the sole appointed high
priest, Saviour and Mediator of salvation.
Nowhere
in scripture is Moses or anyone or anything else appointed an equal or co-
redeemer with Jesus Christ. The Bible warns and exhorts all continually: John
14: 6Jesus saith unto him, I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The
aforementioned verse 6 of Hebrews 3 is
misinterpreted by some to mean that if we do not remain faithful until the
coming of Christ we will be lost. Nothing could be further from the truth. To
prevent this error, the Bible gives many other verses to explain that all who
claim salvation but eventually fail the test of faith in turning away from
salvation were never saved in the first place..
2
Pe 2: 20For if after they have escaped the
pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse
with them than the beginning. 21For it had been better for them not
to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it,
to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22But it is happened unto
them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit
again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
No
one will ever wind up in hell because they never heard the gospel. People wind
up in hell because although they heard the gospel, they refused to believe it. Although
they may have entered the physical church, they never, ever entered into faith
in Jesus Christ. If anyone fears losing their salvation what they must do is absolutely reject the fear and come in faith trusting studying and obeying the scriptures and living by the Bible correctly interpreted.
1Jo
2:19
- They went out from us, but they were not of us;
for if they had been of us, they
would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out,
that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Christians
can rest completely confident in Lord Jesus Christ: There are many more verses
than what can be posted here, feel free to study further on your own. 1Pe
1:3
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which
according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe
1:4 -
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe
1:5
- Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time.
Col 1:13 - Who hath delivered us from the power of
darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Jude
1: 24Now unto him that is able
to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the
presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise
God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and
ever. Amen. love serola

Heb
2: 14Forasmuch then as the
children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part
of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of
death, that is, the devil; 15And deliver them who
through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16For
verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him
the seed of Abraham. 17Wherefore in all
things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might
be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to
make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that
he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are
tempted.
Brothers
and sisters, God lays out the comprehensive depths, riches, and thorough work
of His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour in the magnificent power of His
salvation for all who believe on and in Him. Jesus became like us not only to
know us and understand us from an experiential stand point, yet without sin,
but to save and deliver all who believe from death and sin to eternal life. We can run to Jesus in complete assurance of receiving His aid and comfort to the uttermost.
Jesus
in suffering death did so for all who will believe in and on Him. Jesus in His death defeated the grave, and
forever took away from the devil the power of death with which he had terrorized
the whole human race.
The power of the high priests of the temporary
covenant of the Law was puny, limited to the nation of Israel, but the God given power
and authority of Jesus Christ the Saviour and eternal high priest of the
everlasting new covenant is unlimited
and over not only the whole earth, but heaven as well.: Mt. 28 18And Jesus came and
spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
The
devil forever lost the power over death and hell when Jesus Christ defeated him
for all time: Rev 1:1 18I am he that
liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the
keys of hell and of death.
Jesus
Christ in His love for the world defeated the grave, attained the eternal power
of eternal life, defeated the devil, and delivered all who believe from the
bondage of the Law: Rom 7:6 But
now we are delivered from the
law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of
spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Brothers
and sisters, knowing what a mighty God we have who understands us even from the
human standpoint with the power of God to help us, let us run to Jesus. Let us be
fully persuaded, convicted, and convinced that He is all that we need and always
with and in us.
In
stark contrast to the new covenant high priest Jesus Christ; by the time Jesus appeared
in His earthly ministry the Levitical priesthood of the Law had become thoroughly
corrupted. The Levitical priesthood of the Law degenerated into greed
determined to do its own will not that of God in order to maintain its own
power over the people. Its goal was to enrich itself by making merchandise of
the people, not caring for the people. Those high priests under the Law could never even save themselves, and they will not ever save anyone else either. love serola

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
Heb
2: 10For it became him, for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto
glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11For both he that sanctifieth and they
who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to
call them brethren,
Brothers
and sisters, in the first chapter of Hebrews God lauded His Son Jesus Christ as
fully God the Son, second person of the trinity in the fullness of His glory
and power. Here in this second chapter of Hebrews the Bible shows forth our
Lord Jesus in His zeal for His house, His heart filled with compassion and love
for His people, and His determined will to save, fully understand, know, and
bring all that belong to Him to Himself. Jhn 2:17 And his disciples
remembered that it was written, The zeal
of thine house hath eaten me up.
Brothers
and sisters, Jesus Christ would know deeply, intimately, every detail of the
lives of His creations. He would die for them, live with them and suffer with
them, be tempted with them. He would know them experientially, yet without sin.
He would know, understand and be able to minister to His people as no high
priest under the Law ever could.
Those old high priests under the Law had
compassion for the people under them however, none were made perfect through
suffering. They did not know and would not have suffered in any way what it was
like to really suffer, be hungry, thirsty, be an outcast, shamed by the
ungodly, dishonored, rejected, endure temptations, lied on, betrayed, spat on, cheated,
slandered, abused, mocked, stalked, openly hated, conspired against, and even
insulted while being publicly wrongfully put to death.
Jesus
Christ, fully God, fully man. He is overwhelmingly incomparable in every way to
those old human high priests under the temporal Law who had to be taught it; did
not always obey or apply it equally, but not so Jesus Christ, He is the Word of
God the Just One incarnate of the new covenant and has no respect of persons. In
the obedience of Jesus Christ, even in His suffering He became the perfect high priest and Author
of eternal life the final, finished and complete atonement for all who will
believe and obey.
Let
us keep in remembrance that those old high priests under the Law offered the
blood of animal sacrifices that could never take away all sins forever, and
therefore had to be offered continually. However, let us continually praise Jesus
Christ in continued remembrance that He offered the perfect sacrifice of
Himself and His own sinless blood to cleanse and take away all sins forever
eternally for everyone who believes and obey Him.
Those
old high priests under the Law were lofty, insular, entitled to enter the holy
of holies alone. Everyone else was
forbidden under pain of death. This man came humbly, became like His creations,
lived among them and gave himself for them. Therefore, God appointed Him alone
as the Author of salvation, and sole source of eternal life who, opened up the
door to the very throne room of God whereby all who believe, can enter in to Him
day or night world without end. Amen.
Under
the Law all the people were shown to be powerless servants of sin, for even the
high priests sinned and therefore had to make atonement for their own sins just
like the people under them. Under the new testament of the sinless Saviour
Jesus Christ, God left the saved in their natural bodies to show the world and
witness that through Him they have power to overcome sin, no longer in bondage
to sin as were those under the Law: Rom 6:6 Knowing
this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might
be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom
6:7 For
he that is dead is freed from sin.
Forgiveness
through Jesus Christ is complete, eternal, final. However, in the secular world
there is no guarantee of forgiveness. Even if forgiveness is given ( perhaps
grudgingly by some) there is no guarantee of acceptance, reconciliation or continued
relationship. Why? Sin has consequences on earth. This fact teaches/warns Christians
not to practice sin after salvation, because Christians absolutely do not have
to practice any sin.
JESUS
IS NOT ASHAMED OF HIS PEOPLE
As
Christians we can all fully trust that no matter what we have been or done,
dearly beloveds, Jesus is not ashamed of
us. Jesus no longer looks at us through
the lenses of our past sins, but through the cleansing blood of His everlasting
new covenant atonement.
Praise
God, every Christian can rejoice in the eternal atonement, acceptance in the
beloved, reconciliation and fellowship we have attained by the grace of God through
His sole sinless Saviour. Thanks be to God who has spiritually regenerated us
and also for the physical regeneration of the body to come by His everlasting
almighty power.
SANTIFIED
1. to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow
2. to separate from profane things and dedicate to God
1. consecrate things to God
2. dedicate people to God
3. to purify
1. to cleanse externally
2. to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin
3. to purify internally by renewing of the soul
ἁγιάζω hagiázō, hag-ee-ad'-zo; from G40; to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate;
(mentally) to venerate:—hallow, be holy, sanctify.
This is not a process, but the effect of
salvation enabled by the Holy Spirit, so that we can actually live the life of
holiness that God desires for us. love serola

JOURNEY
IN HEBREWS
BEHOLD
THE MAN! Jesus Made Like His Brothers
Heb 2: 5For unto the angels hath he not put
in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6But one in a certain place testified,
saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou
visitest him?
7Thou madest him a little lower than
the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over
the works of thy hands:
8Thou hast put all things in
subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he
left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all
things put under him.
Saints
(G40 hagios) it is truly error and laughable were it not so sad that there are
some who proudly brag and preach that mankind is “the crown of creation”. There
is no place in scripture that can justify this kind of misinterpretation. If mankind
is anything he is not the crown, but the clown and the thorn of creation, born
with the inherited Adamic sin nature, fully acting and living it out in the course of his life; doomed to
eternal perdition but for the grace of God for all who believe, and not through
mere human works and efforts..
Brothers
and sisters, the Bible preaches inerrantly that God has given the honor, glory
and crown to His only Son and sole appointed Saviour Jesus Christ:
Heb
2:9But we see Jesus, who was made a
little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
All
of the limited weak ineffectual animal sacrifices of all the old high priests
of the Law can only give the penitent sinner temporary forgiveness. None of the
old high priests of the Law could give eternal life. The only thing guaranteed
under the Law is condemnation and death, which is why people feared death. The work
of the high priests under the Law was never done, all atonements under them
were all temporary, therefore they had no rest if a person was forgiven for a
sin one day and did the same thing the next day it always required a fresh sacrifice
for the penitent, who also had to make confession again.
Brothers
and sisters, we see the absolute awesome superiority of Jesus Christ the God and
man over all the old high priests under the Law; for Jesus came for the express
purpose to suffer and die for the sins of the world, so that all who believe on
and in Him will absolutely receive eternal forgiveness, escape eternal death, damnation,
and absolute eternal separation from God.
Praise Lord Jesus Christ our eternal, absolute
sole Saviour and high priest over the house of God, that all who believe and
obey can certainly have absolute confidence, assurance, comfort, lavish love and
blessings through His final, finished complete and absolute atonement.
For any who wonder exactly what did God give mankind to rule over, the Bible absolutely
states: Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall
be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that
moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your
hand are they delivered.
So
we clearly see, holy people, nothing God
delivered into the hands of man was
jumping for joy over being delivered into the hands of mankind, for good reason. Note too that God did not give man
rulership over mankind itself. No need to wonder why if we look at history past,
present, and no doubt future but for the return of the Lord. Again in these subsequent verses God makes it absolutely clear in detail that He did not give mankind the authority to rule over mankind itself.
Gen
1: 29And God said, Behold,
I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all
the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding
seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of
the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon
the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb
for meat: and it was so. 31And God saw every
thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening
and the morning were the sixth day.
We
all know, brethren, what secular man has done and continuing to do with what God
gave, because it is a frightening reality seen in the wholesale slaughter of
people through wars, abortion, addictions, genocide, murder etc. and the extinction and near extinction of animal
life and various parts of the earth. Do not waste your time listening to the lies of secular man, even those who come stealthily into the church preaching the lie that God has given mankind sovereign will that He is obligated to respect, even if it goes against the will of God. God has set the eternal standard for all men- obey the truth of the gospel or receive eternal damnation.
Mankind
has nothing to boast and/or brag about, every one of his so- called
achievements is stained by his selfish corrupt sinful flesh. Please feel free to study further on your own regarding that God has established powers authorities on the earth for His purpose to control/punish evil. Mankind- its greatest fear is of itself. Let us put our trust in the inerrant truth of God Ro. 12:4 1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
1 Pe 1: 24For all flesh is as
grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth,
and the flower thereof falleth away: 25But the word of the Lord
endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto
you. love serola
