Hallelujah To The King
Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before Thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For Thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. - Isaiah 9:3-4, KJV.
There is something about God that is better experienced than told. When God says as your Father, I will give you My best, He means it. When He says that He is far better than our goodly-earthly fathers, He is, characteristically, being honest with us.
He is a Man of war. In trouble, we must learn to seek Him; we must call upon His Name because in Him lies our salvation. When we depend completely on God in the midst of trials and battles, He will honor our faith in Him.
He will come down and war against all that war against us. And He is a God of victory! He always wins, never fails.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to always know that You are forever willing and able to fight my battles and give me victory. Thank You for the joy that You cause to resonate in my spirit by destroying the things that seek to destroy me in Jesus Name, Amen.
