    Prayer Group

    Wow! I don't even know where to start, but i would just like to let you all know that we recently started a women's prayer group and the response has been great. We started with five women who are truly hungry for the word of God and to serve Him. At the first meeting, we all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit as we read the bible and shared our testimonies. The atmosphere was supercharged with God's presence. We talked, laughed, cried and generally were so overwhelmed that God met us where we were. We are all different women, from different cultural backgrounds and languages, and yet when it came to God, it was like we had known each other for ages. For me, i get so encouraged to see a young lady amongst us, whom, unlike the young ladies of the world, has chosen to spend time deeply engrossed in the word of God, rather than be out 'hanging out' with her peers. Honestly, its time that we empower our children to walk and talk according to the gospel. They are never too young to start....

    I also shared about my twins who are 7years old and have started praying amazing prayers. It all started with praying before we eat and praying when we go to bed. They would pray in Danish and i would pray after them in English, and it has worked out fine the last three years. I was taken aback when my little girl started to pray in English (she speaks reasonable english, but had never prayed in english)....

    Here is how she prays:

    My Lord and my father, we worship you and glorify your name. You are worthy to be praised. God we love you, you know it, and we want to have a party with you, yes Jesus, we bless you my God, you are the best-test God in all the world..we love you my God..i want to have a party with you, in Jesus name!

    Wow! first time my husband heard her, we  had our eyes closed whilst she prayed, but ended up opening them to look at her pray. I just can't stop thanking God for filling her with His love like that.

    My son on the other hand (the other twin), was sad for a while because he just could not find someone in his class or school he could call a friend. So, he was always sad when his twin sister came home with a friend to play with. He was so distressed, so i decided that he could start praying for a friend, by asking God, to give him a very good friend.

    This is his prayer:

    Dear God, i am praying that you find me  someone i can call a friend, someone i can play with, someone who will like me for who i am, and someone who will always stand by me and always support me, in Jesus name.

    Honestly, after earnestly praying for a month or so, someone in his class asked him if he could come home with him and play. I must say that they have played together to date, about 3-4 times in a space of two weeks. He asked me the other day, if this could be the friend he was praying for? I told him, it could be, but he had to keep on praying until he was sure.

    My point of all these stories? To let you know, that prayer is the open door to getting our requests to God answered. God has said that His word will never come back void....and it never does.

    So, lets continue to take authority in the name of Jesus as he says in Luke 10:19, and teach our children to walk confidently knowing that they have a God who loves them.

    Prayer:

    Jesus,

    lover of my soul, Jesus i will never let you go, you picked me up from the mud and set me upon a rock, and put a crown on my head. I love you because you first loved me. I surrender myself to you and pray that you use me and my children to bring joy and glory to your name. Amen.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR OF 2008,( 2-01-2008)

    God's blessings are upon us as we enter into the newyear. 2007 has come and gone, and now we are on the verge of another exciting journey with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

    God has said that we are the light of this world, meaning that as children of God, the light of God, who is God,  should be evident in us wherever we go. We, as co-heirs to the throne of Jesus Christ, (i mean those who are born again of the spirit and whose name is written in the book of life)...we have the power to command every darkness around us to turn into light. We have been given the right to use the precious name of Jesus...thats why He said..'go into to the world and preach the gospel, and in my name shall you cast out devils...'

    So, children of the King, i encourage you to walk boldly in the Spirit in this year of 2008. We can do this by using the most powerful weapon that God has given us, and that is prayer. This is the year for us to walk in divine blessings as we re-possess that which the enemy has stolen from us, and take hold of all that God has in store for us. But in order for us to walk in these divine blessings, we need to repent of all our sins so that we can stand blameless before the father. God is holy, and He cannot bless anyone that has unforgiveness. Harbouring sin and unforgiveness will keep your blessings away. So, let it go...and start to pray. I believe that as we dedicate ourselves to the Lord, and begin to do a midnight vigil of prayer, we will open tap into God's anointing and experience awesome divine intervention in our prayer life. There is something about the midnight hour, that opens up another realm of the spirit. I begin mine today, and i hope and pray that there are other prayer warriors out there that will join me in prayer at this midnight hour.

    Let us together win souls for the kingdom of God is at hand.

    prayer

    Jesus Christ, the anointed one, you are sitted at the right hand of the Father and interceed for us day and night. I thankyou for your neverending love for us. Spirit of God, open up our spriritual eyes and ears so that we may see and hear your instructions for this new year. I pray for a Holy, one to one visitation of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God who was and is to come. May you reveal yourself to us, in ways we never imagined, and may your presense stay with us as we obey your commandments and win souls for your kingdom.

    Father, i also ask you to fill our children (name them), with your Spirit, and may they see visions and dream dreams that only you can give them. I pray for a hedge of protection around them, and rebuke the hand of the enemy on their lives. Angels of God, i ask you to sheild them, and untie them from any ungodly behaviours i pray in the name of our God, Yeshuwa/Jesus.

    amen

    Walking in Love

    Dear Friends

    Its been a while since i wrote down my thoughts that i would like to share with you....its because i have had my family from England visiting and things got a bit hectic! I would just like to thank my Heavenly Father for the love that He has for me..for blessing me with such a wonderful family that is full of love and more love. Thankyou Jesus. It gives me strength and courage to be who I am because of Jesus' love for me and my familys love.

    Personally, i have found myself challlenged to walk in love as a mother and friend. It is not always easy, because sometimes we get hurt along the way and we sometimes think that, whats the point?? But there is a point. To me, love is the basis of all foundation. The bible has taught us that God is love. Becuase of His love, He sent his only son Jesus to die for our sins, so that we could be saved from sin and death. If this is not a demonstration of love, my friends, then what is? I realise that He loves me no matter what i do, He wants me to draw closer to Him. If He can love me so much, why can i not walk in the love of my Father Jesus by  demonstrating  my love to others? Sometimes, we fight or disagree or say things that may sound heavy. But, when all things are said and done, and there is love, we are already one step towards healing and finding peace within us.

    So, i encourage you to walk in the love of Jesus, just like the Father has taught us.

    prayer:

    Lord, i thank you for your love and for never taking it away from us. You indeed are Holy, and worthy to be praised. When i am weak, i know that you are strong and stand in the gap for me. It is not easy walking in love all the time, but through your Grace and Mercy, i know that i have the strength to do so. I pray that you forgive us for our sins, and wash them away with the Blood of Jesus. Draw us closer to you, so that we can walk in love every day of our loves, i pray. We honour you and glorify you, in Jesus'matchless name.

    deutronomy 7:9

    ' Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands'

    THE POWER OF THE CROSS

    Dear Friends

    Is the power of the cross of Jesus Christ evident in your life? The power to repent, cast down sin from your heart and the power to lead a Holy new life? The cross represents the sufferings of Jesus Christ, meaning all the sufferings He endured before going to the cross and on the cross. It is written in 1John1:7, that 'the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleansenth us from all sin'...not some sin....but ALL sin. Our sins are washed away by the Blood of Jesus.

    The apostle Paul was very much aware to this mighty power. He wrote, 'for i am not ashamed of the gospel of Jeus Christ, for ti is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. At the cross we are free from the curse of dominion of sin. As human beings, we have a sinful nature. Jesus realised tht we are sinful flesh adn that sin constantly wants to gain control in our lives. Sin tempts, it entices and fights against us. But, by the power of the cross, sin does not have dominion over us, if we choose the cross. We live in a world that loves and emphasises power of all sorts. That type of power is not able to deliver us from oru sins, but only the power of the cross.

    Let us read

    Psalm 116:1-10 (New International Version)

     1 I love the LORD, for he heard my voice;
           he heard my cry for mercy.

     2 Because he turned his ear to me,
           I will call on him as long as I live.

     3 The cords of death entangled me,
           the anguish of the grave [a] came upon me;
           I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.

     4 Then I called on the name of the LORD :
           "O LORD, save me!"

     5 The LORD is gracious and righteous;
           our God is full of compassion.

     6 The LORD protects the simplehearted;
           when I was in great need, he saved me.

     7 Be at rest once more, O my soul,
           for the LORD has been good to you.

     8 For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
           my eyes from tears,
           my feet from stumbling,

     9 that I may walk before the LORD
           in the land of the living.

     10 I believed; therefore [b] I said,
           "I am greatly afflicted."

    That is the awesome power of the cross!!!

    In the old testament, God showed that the cross was freeing power in the great event of Israel's being delivered from Egypt. There He said..'i take you out of the house of bondage, from the house of slavery.' That was a picture of the mighty hand of Jesus Christ that took His children out of their bondage and out of slavery and sin.

    Jesus said in John10:10-15

    10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

     11"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.  14"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.

    And agian He prayed in  Jonh17:12....'those that thou gavest me i have kept, and none of them is lost.

    What did God pour out on the cross? All the punishment and all the hellish anguish that our sins deserved......the sins of God's people.

    Yet so many have not grasped the power of the cross. Many are hoping to put sin away through other means, but wonder why they are still in bondage. But the bible says that it is the cross applied  to our hearts by the Holy Spirit, which alone can free us from the dominion of sin.

    So, if you begin to lose your way, and life seems to overwhelm you, go back to the cross of Jesus Christ, remember why He died for your sins, because that is where there is life abundantly, for we have not been forgiven merely of grace, but are now made dead to sin and alive unto God.

    How do we know that the cross has delivered us? We will know it by our fruit...by the the way we thingk, by giving thanks to God, being grateful for everything we have, like the psalmist says in

    Psalm 116:12-19 (New International Version)

     12 How can I repay the LORD
           for all his goodness to me?

     13 I will lift up the cup of salvation
           and call on the name of the LORD.

     14 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
           in the presence of all his people.

     15 Precious in the sight of the LORD
           is the death of his saints.

     16 O LORD, truly I am your servant;
           I am your servant, the son of your maidservant [a] ;
           you have freed me from my chains.

     17 I will sacrifice a thank offering to you
           and call on the name of the LORD.

     18 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
           in the presence of all his people,

     19 in the courts of the house of the LORD—
           in your midst, O Jerusalem.
           Praise the LORD. [b]

    HALLELUJAH!!

    AMEN.

    prayer

    Father, there is noone like you. We thank you for your word, for it is life to us. We pray that we continue to die to self, so that more of the power of the cross is seen in us. We pray that we come boldly to the throne of Grace, and ask for repentance throgut the Blood of Jesus, for you are a merciful God. Create in us a clean hearth, O God, and renew a right spirit in us, so that we may pursue those things that are holy and pleasing in your sight. Father, all praise and glory are yours, now and forevermore. We pray this in Jesus awesome name..

    Amen.
