This week I am working on two pieces at the same time. I am making my own tiles for it. The painting of tiles is done and now I am doing the cutting process. One piece has a serious subject matter about oppression of the poor or those without power. The other piece is about the bond between God, a husband and his wife. Stay tuned for the unveiling.

Last week, my goal was to complete one piece of artwork. The result: I was actually able to complete 2 pieces. One is 18"x24" and the other is 9"x12". Praise the Lord! They will be unveiled at the end of the month, Lord willing. Now onto my next project. I have thought out what the composition will be. Now I need to execute it. Have a blessed week everybody.

My goal for 2010 is to dedicate more time to worshipping God and produce art on a regular basis. I set a deadline for one art piece to be done by midnight tonight. I hope to reach that goal. It is about 70% done. Another goal is to showcase artwork on a regular basis. This will begin in February. I have a lot of plans that I hope will come to fruition. I am confident my goals will be completed. Have a blessed day.

Happy New Year to you all! I recently went to an art supply store for some needed paint and pencils and came across a new paper product with a book bind at a 4 x 7 size. This probably sounds boring to most people but I was excited because although this size is considered small, it is big enough to be used as a nice booklet containing beautiful art. After purchasing one to use as a test, the Lord started giving me ideas of a story to tell in this booklet – questions answered about the Trinity in the bible such as: Who is God? Where did Jesus come from? Who do people say Jesus is? What is truth? Why do Jesus and the Holy Spirit exist? This project should be a lot of fun as it comes into fruition.

Worship to the Lord 6 - finale
Well, this is my last piece for this series. But not the last of exploring variations of white with just a splash of color.
