Good Morning All

b lessed morning to all. I feel like a Mr Rogers adv, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood,

The sun is shining brightly, birds are s,inging, I feel better physcially than I have felt for weeks.

I have an elderly lady 2 houses down 89 yrs old. we have been neighbors/friends for 25+years, my kids call her mommom, grandson calls her Mommom Doris.

Any how the other day she askedif I would start  reading the Bible(eyesight not good) and have prayer with her a day or so a week!!!!!!!!!!!God said I would be doing this with seniors eetc) remember earlier post

The same day anouther friend (we meet when kids werein just starting school) now that I ave returned to work and don't have the extra dys through week to read and discussion, we should start doing it on Tue, so looks like the 3 of us will have Bible and coffee on Tue(Rowano is about 65-66).

Wow God has just opened the heavens these last few days !!!!!!!!!!I fell so Blessed, and   ready to take on the world.

Gonna run now, dog thinks he needs to go out and I need to refill coffee and spend a few min with the Father,full of happiness nad thanks

Fri evening

Happy weekend to all, gonna be in high 60-low70 over weekend. I am really happy about this, maybe I'll get out to flea market and take a bit of fresh air and sunshine.

Today was a longer day at work, 7am-1pm, by about 11:30 this old body wanted a nap, its 10:30pm and its still waiting, hehe

Just wanted to ask special prayers for a family from anouther group, IBGN prayer warriers.

This couples daughter was one of the children killed  at school, while backing out of driveway to go the husband somehow backed over younger daughter and killed her, these people have lost 2 daughters in 1 day. Fromwhat I understand mom is in hospital and heavely sedated. I just can not imagine the pain and grief that this family along with other family members and friends is going through. I just want to cry for them, just so sad. Please just hold this family up to God with me, though right now I seem to be at a loss for physcial words

Today was the first day back to work, really felt like 4 trucks ran over me by noon,went in at 9 and got done at 1, Hubby is not happy about m going back, but I only work 4 morning outside

Todays Tragity

I am still thinking about all those college kids and families who are suffering  an extreme loss this morning.It just brought tears to my eyes nad many prayers  for the families.Each day it seems that  anouther verse or chapter come to pass, and at the same time I am reading the "left Behind" series buTim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins, and the rapture had taken place, peoples clothes, jewerly left. people sleeping side by side and in a split second there is only one.

A while back I had read an article on why let bad things happen where was he during the Colbine shooting, the twin towers , the article was so truthful, God wasn't there because he has been put out of schools,public places. This is so true, as a youngster I can not imagine ever starting school without  a prayer and saluting the flag, Teacher were Mr and Mrs, same with friends parents, thank you and please, and excuse me

I certainly did not grow up in a Christian family, (depending on who I was living with at the time) there was 13 kids that I am aware of only 4 had same set of parents. But respect was always taught at grandmoms and a couple aunts house. My younger life was chock full of drugs. alchol, abuse, but learned about there was a God, pround to be an American, the flag was a symbol of pride.

Hope this makes sence to you guys, maybe just a bit of rambling.

Pouring here

It has been rainning all day with somwe prety gusty winds. Tommorrow I go to Dr for anouther checkup on the old lungs, not feeling great today between COPD, Fibro and nast weather,Really didn't accomplished much, did finish a pair of curtains for a custermer, cut and pinned 4 pair of pants for anouther one. Made meatball sandwiches for dinner.

Have any of you read the left behind series? Girlfriend gave me one the other day, really interesting, oh yea did read a bit.

Raining in Jersey

Did a few errands today, nothing major. Somehow I even managed to pass the Bible book store with out pulling, wellllllll reaaly because there was construction going on and couldn't pull in unless I ran a flagman down and thought that wouldn't be a nice thing to do.

Finished my next  2 lessons today ready to mail in the morning. The last set was in Colosians, got anwers but really didn't understand some of it, maybe just a bit tired but gonna reread it tomorrow.

I have  Jim Keeling Ministries bookmarked. He has the whole Bible there, you can read or do the sound, and then you can go to commentary for more.It is really handy . He has a nice site if anyone is interested in checking it out. I have sat here on the puter and read some of the Bible without it slipping off lap, page flipping, ok I admit it, getting lazy in the land of cycper space.

Question

Have been rolling this question aroun for a long time, and what better place to start a intellegent Christian  discussion than here. For some time I have been wondering about all the money and supplies going overseas and forgien countries. I know we are to help others  bit with so many homeless,abused,addicts etc right here,many times within a few miles of our own comphy homes, shouldn't we be helping our neighbors first.  several times when someone has been outside Wawa or someplace asking for money I have told them if they stay there I will be more than glad to buy them a sandwich and coffee. Some have and others have run like they were shot in the butt with a BB gun,those I know would of run to the neatrest liquir store or druggie.

Just checking e-mail. Will post something a bit later. Today was the first day I have been out since hospital, wwent to Bible Book store, its only about 3 blocks from my house. Stop to "look" and say "hi" yea sure you beleive thats all I did. Vicki had 2 of Billy Grahms  The Evangelist.

The Worldwide Impact of Billy Grahm,also has a cd of vidio and audio of some of his messages,yep jumped right up on counter, It was 12.99 regular 22.99

Was only out maybe an hour, came home and took a nap,

Hello friends

Wow just reread my last post, looks like all the drugs had done a number on me. Luckly I am slowly being weaned off the prezone, It has been messing with blood sugar, On Fri it went up to 263, daughter ran over to Dr office and had to get a insulin shot. In the hospital I was on 20 mg pretzone, IV, then 15 mg pill, came home last week to 10mg,this week(today) started 7.5 mg next week I go to 5mg, and Dr, then don't know. Have a nebulizer to use a couple times a day and 3 different inhalers. but all in all today was my best day. Took blood this morning was 96, suppose to be between 70 and 110, but still just feel like all the body parts are not in line. Can't beleive people really pay for theses kind of drug and worse to "get high"
