    Latest News From Estonia

    Thank You so, so much to every one of Your who is praying for our country! Your comments and kind words mean very much to me. Thank You!

    It is an absolutely beautiful day here. Sun is shining and new life is springing up everywhere. I love Spring... though it is not really a time to enjoy all the beauty. It was so creepy to be outside and see the broken faces of some Russian young men. I've never walked around, turning my head every time I heard someone speaking in Russian, wondering whether he or she was one of them! ...the secret terrorist group, calling all Russians to rise up against Estonian government.

    I never thought I would live during a time like this... it is hard, I admit... though I can't even imagine what it is like to those Russians who have for years sincerely tried to integrate into our culture and nation, hard working, kind people. It must be horrible for them. Now they are like between two fires. They do not want communism nor Russia back... and yet they are Russian and speak the language. Sure, Estonians are on guard and Russians are pressuring them to rise up against our government. They must feel like hiding where no one could find them. I honestly feel so sorry for them.

    I can't believe how we could live in such oblivion, not knowing what was going on around us! I can't believe we did not know there were terrorists living right among us! Like everywhere they are people so full of hate, wanting to get all the privileges but not wanting to work for them. ...anyway, here are the most recent news:

    The secret service of Russia, FSB under Putin's order has created in Estonia an underground terrorist group under the name « Command of group "KOLIVAN " Army of Russian Resistance ». Terrorists have declared their existence on the Internet late at night on April, 28th.

    "The 9th of May is the day of the beginning of our war against the criminal Estonian government. Our purpose is to create the independent Russian state in territory of Estonia ... we call onto all Russian men living in Estonia ... to follow our example, and to begin self formation of independent groups of Army. Even small groups can operate successfully. Sooner or later we shall achieve Victory. Other variants are not present.

    "We will strike blows on all communication systems, electric maintenance, gas supply, and supply by gasoline, on rail communication, on aviation transport, on water supply of large cities. We will burn houses and property. Today, on April, 28th, we declare formation of groups of Army of Russian Resistance.

    "Our first group is already formed. Questions of arms and ammunitions are also solved."

    More of the story here: http://www.kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/2007/04/29/8179.shtml

    ...so, here we are... this is our new reality.

    Thank You for being there for us and praying. Estonian and Russian Christians do stand in unity though. We are not putting our hope in EU or NATO who do not want to interfere anyway. We know that our only hope is in God. We know the power of prayer and we do count on You to stand with us... this truly is our only hope.

    Many, many blessings to You,

    Eve

    The Latest News About the Riots in Estonia

    Dear Friends,

    If You read my previous post, You know what I am talking about. Here are the latest news about the riots in Estonia:

    The latest news is that our police has just found out that greater riots are being planned on the 1st and 2nd of May and huge riot on the 9th of May. Russians promised that the riot on the 9th of May is going to be so huge that Estonia is going to need to use the army to suppress it. The plan is that when the army starts shooting at people, Russian army stands ready, having then every right to march into Estonia and take over. They are counting that European Union does not dare to send an army in fear of causing the 3rd World War.

    Thank You for standing in prayer with us! We need supernatural wisdom, guidance, protection and strength to Estonian police, government and army to make the right decisions... we thwart the devil's plans in our country and we release the perfect will of God to happen in this situation... we believe for God's Glory to be shown, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.

    "God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present and well-proved help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1)

    Thank You... much Love and blessings to You,

    Eve

    Cry For Help

    "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place; all this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish]." (Matthew 24:6-8)

    I am writing this post with a bit shaky hands. Things are happening in our little country that have shaken us all. For the third day now there are Russians (some have come from Russia for this occasion and some have been stirred up here ... even kids stirred up by their teachers) to rise up and fight against Estonians. Our police has never had to deal with crowds like that nor have we ever had such riots in our city. By last night the riots had already spread to other towns of Estonia. A large part of the center of Tallinn (including old town) has suffered hundreds of broken windows, demolished cars, a lot of expensive shops broken into and robbed... hundreds of people have been arrested.

    I've never seen anything like that before... I mean, sure in the news, happening in other parts of the world but not in our little country. Even the freedom in 1989 came peacefully to us with no shedding of blood... though I have to admit that a lot of Christians had prayed in unity for it for a long time. It is really weird that the man who decided to let Estonia leave Soviet Union, Russia's president of the time, Boris Jeltsin died a few days ago. His funeral actually was a day before the riots started in Tallinn. It all began from a monument, that honored "Russians setting Estonia free from Hitler's Germany", being taken down... though the truth is that by the time the Russians came and overtook Estonia, we had no Germans here, it was a free country... but then again, there are always people who do not want the crowds to know the truth. Well, it has been made to look like it started from that monument but it is very clear that those riots have been prepared for a long, long time and the people who are behind them were just waiting for the right time.

    I am sad to say that we as Christians were not prepared for anything in such magnitude either... and we have certainly not prayed the way we should have been. We too have been too much concentrating on our own agendas. Though I am thankful to say that we have recuperated pretty fast, understanding that this is a serious call for united prayer. It is funny that one of my friends, who lives in UK, just recently asked me how I dared to go for a walk with my little dog at 2 in the morning... which is something I have been doing frequently. I loooooooove this quiet time to meditate and talk to God... no people around! I told him that I just did not know how to fear. I had always done it. It had always been so safe... though not during the past few days!

    Such things happen suddenly and if we are not ready, we will be overthrown. Matthew 24 says: "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place." God never leaves us in the dark. Neither does He want us to allow fear and trouble to come into our hearts. He has promised us in His Word: "Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)." (Jeremiah 33:3) He is faithful to His Word. Unlike me there are Christians who were not shaken by present happenings. They were prepared... and thank God they were, for they can now encourage those who are shaken!

    History has proven again and again that were people pray, God supernaturally delivers them. Like Finland. Finland was not strong physically nor did they have a great army against Russia... but Finnish people turned to God and repented. Their country repented and prayed to God and Russia that had many times greater army than Fins did was not able to overtake them. Estonians though, did not repent and our country was occupied for 40 years... until Christians in our country rose up and started to pray for freedom and it was grated to us. Estonians are a very proud nation and very hard working, though relying on our own power rather than on God's power. This has again and again turned to our destruction rather than our salvation. Habakkuk 1:11 says: "they load themselves with guilt, [as do all men] whose own power is their god." Leviticus 26:19 says: "And I will break and humble your pride in your power, and I will make your heavens as iron [yielding no answer, no blessing, no rain] and your earth [as sterile] as brass." Proverbs 16:18 says: "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."

    Where there is pride and relying on our own power, there is the door wide open for destruction. Pride is exactly the sin that Lucifer indulged in. He was so, so beautiful to look at and he had an awesomely beautiful voice plus he had power. I can imagine how other angels were admiring his handsomeness and complementing him... until pride took over and he decided that he wanted to be as high and mighty and powerful as God... which turned to his complete destruction. So it is in our lives, where there is pride, there is the door wide open to the devil to come in and destroy. God hates pride. He does not hate the person in pride but he hates pride as pride is always of the devil. 1 Peter 5:5 says: "For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)--[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble."

    ...and humbleness means that we admit that God is wiser than us and we submit to His Word. David about whom God said that he was a man according to His Own heart was a man who had quite a bit of sin in his life... but still David had a humble heart. He always admit that God was right... he always quickly repented of his sins and turned back to God. Sure, he did suffer from what he did wrong but God still was there for him, strengthening him and helping him. David had a humble heart. There are many examples in the Bible about pride and humbleness. One of them is in the 2nd Chronicles 12... the story about Solomon's son Rehoboam:

    "When Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel with him. And in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, because they had transgressed and been unfaithful to the Lord, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. With 1,200 chariots and 60,000 horsemen, and the people were without number who came with him from Egypt - the Libyans, Sukkiim, and Ethiopians. And he took the fortified cities of Judah and came on to Jerusalem. Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the princes of Judah who had gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, Thus says the Lord: You have forsaken Me, so I have abandoned you into the hands of Shishak. Then the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, The Lord is righteous. And when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemiah, saying, They have humbled themselves, so I will grant them some deliverance; and My wrath shall not be poured upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak. Nevertheless, they shall be his servants, that they may know [the difference between] My service and the service of the kingdoms of the countries." God did grant them some deliverance but not complete deliverance... for the Bible says that God looks at our hearts... He knew that Rehoboam did not humble himself wholeheartedly... as verse 14 says: "And he did evil because he did not set his heart to seek (inquire of, yearn for) the Lord with all his desire."

    We can fool others, but we can never fool God. He sees our hearts the way they are. Rehoboam's heart was still proud and self-centered. He was not a good king as just like he committed himself to God only half heartedly so did his people... and God was not able to fully deliver them. So it is with each of us personally and as a nation. We need to humble ourselves before God and He will deliver us from however powerful our enemy might be.

    In the very next chapter there is a different account. This time Israel who had forsaken their God came against Judah who was faithful to their God. Again, Israel's army was many times greater than Judah's army, but Judah had God Himself fighting for them. As Israel came against Judah, Judah's present king Abija talked to them, saying: "We keep the charge of the Lord our God, but you have forsaken Him. Behold, God Himself is with us at our head, and His priests with their battle trumpets to sound an alarm against you. O Israelites, fight not against the Lord, the God of your fathers, for you cannot prosper." (v.11-12) It was the pride that made Israelites think that they could overtake Judah with their great strength and power... but Judah knew their God. Daniel 11:32 says: "but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits." Abija knew that God was fighting for them. He knew that it was a spiritual battle before it was a physical battle. Therefore he had the priests of the Lord right in the front row.

    Verse 13 continues: "But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come around them from behind, so his troops were before Judah and the ambush behind. When Judah looked, behold, the battle was before and behind; and they cried to the Lord, and the priests blew the trumpets." Humanly speaking Judah had no chance to win the battle. Israel's army was so much greater and they had also greater battle tactics... but it was all in vain. Verse 15 says: "Then the men of Judah gave a shout; and as they shouted, God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. And the Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands. Thus the Israelites were brought low at that time, and the people of Judah prevailed because they relied upon the Lord, the God of their fathers."

    In the next chapter there is yet another story of success. 2 Chronicles 14:9 says: "There came out against Judah Zerah the Ethiopian with a host of a million [that is, too many to be numbered]... Then Asa (next king of Judah) went out against him, and they set up their lines of battle in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. Asa cried to the Lord his God, O Lord, there is none besides You to help, and it makes no difference to You whether the one You help is mighty or powerless. Help us, O Lord our God! For we rely on You, and we go against this multitude in Your name, O Lord, You are our God; let no man prevail against You! So the Lord smote the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled."

    Indeed "the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits." Those kings who had taken the time to seek the Lord (during the peace time), had no problem in standing strong against the enemy when a war broke out against them and they received full victory. They knew their God and they were strong in Him. Also God knew them and their hearts and showed His power and His strength on their behalf. We can do many words but if our hearts are not right with God, He knows it and not that He doesn't want to help us... He can't help us, for our own hypocrisy and pride stand between God's power and our need.

    We as a nation need to repent and turn to God in order for us to come out victorious at this time. There is no other way for us... the other way is sure destruction. We relied on our own power and the result is always the same - disaster... it would have come sooner or later. Now it is here and we as the body of Christ need to come together and pray for our nation. I am asking for You to pray in agreement with us for the supernatural protection over all the police that none will be hurt... I am also asking You to pray for our government, for godly wisdom and guidance be given to them, that they would make right decisions... and for our nation to get the message and repent.

    ...though it is a true miracle that so far only 1 person has got killed... unfortunately he was a Russian citizen (stabbed by another Russian) but now Russian government is demanding "justice".

    Thank You for being there for us! It means very, very much to me and to us all!

    Many, many blessings to You all,

    Eve

    Wisdom

    "Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny]." (1 corinthians 2:10)

    I recently met a young lady through My Walk With Jesus who had got saved about a year ago... and then she backslid. I have not dealt with any other person who has been so oppressed of the devil as this young lady is. I was so completely lost. I did not know how to help her. I did not know why she had such oppression in her life... but then something opened up to me from one of her emails. She told me that when she got saved, she had woken up every single morning with such great joy and the strong sense of the Lord's presence and His love. For 8 months she had enjoyed those wonderful encounters with the Lord daily... and then suddenly they stopped... and instead little by little horrible oppression took over. Suddenly a light went on. I realized that she had so, so enjoyed those encounters with the Lord that she had started to completely depend on them... thinking that this was the way the Lord showed His love for her. When she suddenly no longer had those daily encounters with the Lord, she allowed little by little depression to take over. Her depression deepened day by day until it had become a severe oppression.

    The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8: "that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour." The devil saw an opportunity in this young Christian's life and he seized it! As this young lady... I'll call her Susan... did not know the Scriptures, she fell for it. She thought that for some reason God had left her... that for some reason God did not love her any longer. Although this was not the Truth, she perceived it as the truth.

    I was then reminded of a testimony of another young lady who is a strong Christian now. She said that she too had those powerful experiences of the presence of the Lord in the beginning and then suddenly when her first child was born, she did not feel the presence of the Lord so powerfully any longer. She too fell into depression... daily crying out to God... not understanding why He had left her. She too did not take the Bible to find out the Truth. She too relied on her previous experience. Though, once she understood that she couldn't depend on those experiences but needed to grow up in Christ by learning to know her Lord and Savior through the never changing Word of God, the depression was overcome. As I remembered this young lady's testimony, I understood that this was also the case with Susan.

    I know how awesome and wonderful it is to truly experience the presence of the Lord. When in His presence, there truly is no need or desire for anything else... it is so awesome... so wonderful... exceeding every desire for anything else. There is no other desire in His presence. I too would love to live in this physical presence of the Lord every moment of my life... but this would completely cripple me... as I would never grow. I recently read from bro Larry's blog something that really spoke to me... something that I had never seen before. Here is what bro Larry said:

    "Jesus said unto her . Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren, and say unto them. I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.... When Mary first saw Jesus after His death, she joyfully and worshipfully held on to Him. But Jesus said to her, Touch me not. He then told her He had not yet ascended to the Father ''and I am ascending to my Father'' So rather than Mary continuing to cling to Him, Jesus wanted her to share the good news of His resurrection and coming ascension with His disciples. He also wanted her to understand the way she must now begin relating to Him. Mary's future relationship would not be physical, such as touching and seeing because Jesus would be gone from earth. From now on, Mary had to relate to her Lord in faith and without Jesus' physical presence visible to her."

    I thought it was such a great point! Jesus taught Mary that from now on she would have to relate to Him by faith, trusting His Promises... rather than seeking to see Him and feel His presence. It is so, so tempting to want to feel His presence... and so we too at times rely more on what we feel than what the Word of God promises to us... not thinking that our feelings are subject to change... but the Word of God and the Promises God has given to us are NOT subject to change. Learning to trust His Word in circumstances that look absolutely contrary to the Truth, help us grow up in Him... grow closer to Him... they help us change... they also help us to take authority over those circumstances that are not as though they should be... they help us to learn to recognize the leadings of the Spirit of God... they help us to become strong and immovable in Him.

    I too am in a situation at the moment, where I would like to get continual confirmation from the Lord that He indeed is going to do what He promised me a while ago. I would like daily confirmation. I would like to hear His voice telling me that He is moving and fixing this situation for me. I know in my heart that He is doing exactly that.... but I would like it to be fixed faster... like right now!!! I would like to do something myself... but the only thing I really can do at this time, is to wait on Him. Of course I know that this is exactly what He wants - for me to learn to wait and trust in Him completely... but it is so uncomfortable!... yes, to my flesh, not to the real me inside, the spirit.

    Yet Isaiah 40:31 promises us: "But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired."

    And Isaiah 30:18 promises us: "Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!"

    One of the greatest faith giants of all times... a man who fulfilled his vision in life...who built 5 large orphanages by never asking for money from any human being but only went to God with his needs, Georg Muller has said: "The flesh is impatient of all delay, both in decision and action; hence all carnal choices are immature and premature, and all carnal courses are mistaken and unspiritual. God is often moved to delay that we may be led to pray, and even the answers to prayer are deferred that the natural and carnal spirit may be kept in check and self-will may bow before the will of God."

    This faith giant also said: "When the Spirit, the Word, and the providence of God agree, we may be quite certain that the Lord is leading us, for these three are always in harmony and cannot disagree." Georg Muller's life is a testimony to the power of waiting for the Lord. He accomplished more than tens, even hundreds of people together in their lifetime... by completely relying on the Word of God, waiting on God and moving only when the Spirit of God gave him the green light to move. Such power is available to every single child of God... IF we truly trust that He knows better and His Word truly is the Truth... the ONLY Truth.

    There are so many examples in the Bible (not to mention in our own lives) when not waiting for the Lord until He gave a green light brought complete disaster... and yet we continue to do the same mistake again and again and again. Isaiah 30 has one of those admonitions to us:

    "For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quietness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength. But you would not. And you said, No! We will speed [our own course] on horses! Therefore you will speed [in flight from your enemies]! You said, We will ride upon swift steeds [doing our own way]! Therefore will they who pursue you be swift, [so swift that] one thousand of you will flee at the threat of one of them; at the threat of five you will flee till you are left like a beacon or a flagpole on the top of a mountain, and like a signal on a hill."

    NOT nice! This is what happens when we think we know better... or we think that the last moment is already past and we will have to act on our own... like Saul did and his kingdom was taken from him. Habakkuk 1:11 says: "they load themselves with guilt, [as do all men] whose own power is their god."

    I remember another story of a business man (I know that I have told that one before...but it is so good!). This man had his first pair of shoes at the age of 12. He grew up in complete poverty. But then he got saved and started to learn to know the Lord. He too learned the wisdom of waiting for God and only moving when the Spirit of God gave him a green light. He used it in his investments. Later in life he testified that not one single time did he invest money wrongly. He said that so often his first impression was totally wrong. When someone came to him with a great sounding proposition, he often was so excited that he immediately wanted to invest... but still he took time to wait for the Lord about this opportunity and often the Lord said no. He obeyed and every single time it proved to have been a bad place to invest. He also said that at times a very poor sounding proposition was made to him and he was ready to immediately say no... but again he took the time to wait for the Lord about it... and more than once the Lord led him to invest in the project... and again he later testified that every single time it turned out to be a gold-mine! Yes, this man made tens of millions by learning to wait for the Lord and only make a choice the Spirit led him to make. God is faithful to His promises... and He has promised us in Isaiah 1:19: "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land."

    It doesn't matter whether we are in business or in ministry or we have questions in our personal affairs, it always pays great dividends to wait for the Lord. He has all wisdom. He knows absolutely everything. We can't go to other people to ask what they think we should do or what they feel we should do... we need to hear from God ourselves. Jeremiah 17:5 warns us of such action: "Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord." God speaks to each believer personally. Romans 8:14 confirms it: "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God." We are to be led by His Spirit. Often we do not hear concrete words about the right or wrong choice, but the Word says that it is the peace of God (which is much deeper than any feelings) that settles the matter for us. It is the peace of God or the lack of peace that confirms whether we are going in the right direction or the wrong direction. Colossians 3:15 says:

    "And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]."

    1 Corinthians 14:33 says that God "is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order." ...so, it is always the peace of God in our hearts that tells us that something is right. When we feel unrest or uncertainty about a decision... when we do not have complete peace, we should continue to wait. Often during those times of waiting pressure comes on us... pressure to make a decision fast and if we do, we will most often make a mistake. Pressure is always from the enemy... and if we continue to wait and stay immovable, we will receive the right guidance and also the power of the enemy shall be broken through our waiting.

    Yes, I know that often such waiting goes completely against the logics and common sense... but then again, the Lord tells us to "lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." (Proverbs 3:5,6) He doesn't act nor think according to limited human ways... His ways are higher... much higher.

    ...so, lets wait on Him and let the Spirit lead us in each decision... and we too will see great victories in our lives!

    Yay! Great News!

    "Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you." (Isaiah 54:15)

    Last week I told You that we received a very sorrow filled and confused email at the My Walk With Jesus paper from a young lady. I am so, so excited to let You know that a few days ago that lady contacted me again, telling me that she had committed her life to the Lord. Goodness, what a change in those two emails! The first one was so messed up that she was not even "speaking" clearly... her mind seemed to wonder all over the place... and now the one I received a few days ago, was so clear and normal. It was so apparent that a huge change had occurred in her life. Her whole being had changed.

    I do not have proper words to describe the immense joy and gratefulness and a sense of true victory that I feel. I am so deeply grateful that I could do my little bit in helping her. Thank You all so, so much who had in Your heart to pray for her. Please know that it made a change! Michelle still needs our prayers but she let me know that she has found the immense peace in her life.

    Michelle also wrote an email to her list of friends and acquaintances. It was quite an amazing email. Michelle said that one of the things that drove her to God was the visions she kept seeing. She saw hell... and not just once, but she kept seeing the hell again and again. She has now so in her heart to let other people know that heaven and hell are real places. She has physically felt the torture of the hell... and it is real.

    ...amazing! ...I noticed that I keep repeating this word... but to me all this is amazing! Awesome! I have never experienced such sense of victory and joy like I do now. This one person means so much to me... goodness, I can't imagine what it means to the Lord. The Word says that the whole heaven rejoices when one sinner repents and commits his life to the Lord. Wow! There is a party in heaven! Yay! For Michelle is the Lord's! She made a choice to step out of the kingdom of darkness and to step into the kingdom of Light... and she changed! Her whole life changed! I have led my mom and my sister also to the Lord and seen their lives change completely... especially getting the immense peace and joy that they did not have before... and the inner security and safety that makes us strong... not strong in our own strength, but strong in the power of the Almighty God Himself.

    I remember when I first got the joy into my heart. I was so scared that one day it will be gone... but it never did leave me. I had never ever in my life experienced anything like that! I never knew that such joy was available to any human being. I couldn't comprehend the fact that this joy stayed with me even when I went through really difficult times emotionally or spiritually. I could be in a difficult spot and still have this joy and peace... and laugh. Wow! That was new to me. Before I had lived like on a roller coaster... when things went my way, I felt like I was at the top of the world, huge winner, powerful person... But the next moment when things did not go my way, I got down, I got mad at people. I could "walk over bodies" to get what I wanted. I never understood that when I hurt others I hurt myself even more. I just had this powerful driving force that kept driving me for more... whatever that more was... until I would get it... and when I got it the joy was just for a moment for I immediately had to go out for even more. There was no peace. There was no lasting, deep and bubbling joy that the Lord has given me now.

    I am so grateful that my life has changed. I am still very driven... but I am driven by a completely different force. I am no longer driven by the devil... I am driven by the Almighty God. And I don't just enjoy the victories, I actually enjoy the struggles too... the steps towards a victory... for now I know that there is absolutely no other way than victory. I can't lose! Christ has made a way for me to be victorious every time. I don't have to wonder any longer whether I am going to win or lose. I know I have victory even before I start... a victory that has been won for me. Wow! Isn't this exciting!

    I have a covenant - a blood covenant - with God... a covenant that can never be broken... by me, yes, but by Him, never! God's covenant stays forever. "For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10) He continues in verse 14 "You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God's will and order); you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you."

    When we establish ourselves in righteousness, in conformity with His will... which is trusting in Him and in His promises so completely that we do not rely on our own wisdom or strength any longer... we know that He will never fail us, He will never leave us nor forsake us (Joshua 1)... we know that His wisdom in far, far beyond ours and we can completely rely on it! When we do, there is no fear in our lives any longer... and with fear goes also all oppression and destruction. Where there is no fear, there can be no oppression.

    Verse 15 continues to say: "Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me. Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you. Behold, I have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals and who produces a weapon for its purpose; and I have created the devastator to destroy, but no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord."

    God lets us know that where there is oppression, strife, pressure, destruction... it is not from Him. He did create the one who causes all that... but the devil is just a created being. He is not a creator. He is a created being. I heard Billye Brim say something lately that really was an eye opener to me... though it is so logical, but still I had not thought of it myself... she said that the devil is only one and unlike God Who is everywhere at the same time, the devil can only be in one place at the same time... thus most of us will never have any encounters with the devil himself, only with his demon spirits. And even if we did have to deal with the devil himself, still he has absolutely no power over the name of Jesus Christ spoken out of the mouth of a believer. Neither has he any power over the blood of Christ that was the perfect sacrifice for us, giving us complete authority over the power of the evil one.

    God clearly promises us that absolutely no weapon that is formed against us shall ever prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment we shall show to be in the wrong. I have heard stories about Christians who have been taken to court by their business partners or opponents who have tried to bring them down... but they have trusted the power of God, standing on this very same Scripture... and God has supernaturally brought them victory. The only thing they had to do was to put things right in their own lives (if there was something that God was showing them to correct) and to completely trust that whatever was humanly impossible was well possible for God and with God (Luke 1:37)... and they received victory. I've heard stories of incurable diseases getting cured in the lives of the believers when they have trusted this very Scripture and spoken it out instead of speaking fear... and they received victory. It is our faith in His promises that brings us victory.

    Such victory belongs to every born again believer. It is ours for the taking... but unless we believe it and take it, victory will be won over us! For unless we take it by faith, we won't have it... even though it is ours already. It is sad that the devil still has high carnival in so many believers lives... simply because they do not understand the victory won on the cross... they do not know what God has promised them in His Word... they do not use the authority given to them... or they do not want to know anything about the devil and demons. Well, even if someone does not believe in hell or in demons, they do not disappear because of that. Hell is very real. So is the devil and his demons. Whether we find out the truth, decide on whose side we want to be on - God's or the fallen angel Lucifer's - and take the authority we have in Christ... or we simply let the devil have the high carnival in our lives. The choice indeed is ours. But it is useless to complain about what the devil is doing in our lives! It won't change anything! The only thing that changes everything, is believing what God has said and as believers taking the authority that has been given to us. We also complain about people problems... when so often they are really the devil problem. The devil is simply using those people to harm us. We can take the authority over those spirits using those people against us and bind them. We do not have authority over people nor over their will. God gave every person a free will. God Himself doesn't take authority over any person. He even allows us to go to hell if we so desire. We can't try to change people... but we sure can take the authority over the demons oppressing those people and command them to stop in the name of Jesus Christ. To our great surprise we will often see those people changing... for in reality it wasn't a people problem at all... it was the devil problem.

    Luke 10:17-20 says: "The seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name! And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven."

    I love Revelation 12:11 for it says clearly how we overcome the power of the devil: "And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony." ...he still tries to oppress us, even though we are believers... and he won't leave until we command him to. This is our job, not God's. We have the authority to tell the devil to leave us alone... and in the name of Jesus Christ, he has to do it.

    ...just like Michelle said, hell is a real place and the devil is a real person... but we do not have to fear either. Yay! We have the victory in Christ.

    Heaps of blessings and Love to You,

    Eve

    Health Tips - DID YOU KNOW....?

    I hope You all had wonderful Easter celebrations! For us - our whole family - Easter is the time to come together and enjoy one another's company. Our lives have become more and more busy... like I'm sure all of Yours have... so we have to make time for one another to just relax and have a good time. This year Easter fell to the same time with my youngest nephew Arne's 3rd birthday... so, we had all the more reason to celebrate. Arne is growing so fast and developing so fast that each time we meet, he has learned something new and is surprising us with his newest discoveries. This time he told us all that we were talking so loud that his ears were about to fall off. He also told her mom that he couldn't sing because his batteries were empty.... sincerely believing that this was the case.

    In this Health post I would like to share with You some interesting and helpful health facts & tips... so, did You know that:

    * 75% of all visits to a physician are stress-related. Unmanaged stress can lead to death... so it is of utmost importance that we become skilled in handling stress correctly;

    * anger, resentment, unforgiveness, and a desire for revenge all trigger the classic "alarm triad" response to stress, which involves adrenal gland hypertrophy (swelling), thymus and lymph gland atrophy (shrinkage), which indicates the suppression of the immune system, and gastric inflammation;

    * laughter, happiness, and joy are perfect antidotes for stress. A noted doctor once said that the diaphragm, thorax, abdomen, heart, lungs - and even the liver - are given a massage during a hearty laugh... no wonder the Bible says: "A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." (Prov.17:22);

    * studies are popping up promoting the power of prayer in staying healthy and becoming healthy. Hospitals across the US have bolstered their "prayer therapy" for the sick and recovering;

    * doctors McMillen and Stern noted that weekly churchgoers in Maryland were less likely than people who didn't attend church regularly to die from heart attacks (50 per cent), emphysema (56 per cent), cirrhosis (74 per cent), and suicide (53 per cent). Simiar result have been found in studies of different population groups at three different medical teaching universities;

    * the average person feels much better and lives healthier by observing a one-day cleansing fast each week. History has proven that the body can heal itself from many serious conditions by fasting;

    * leafy green vegetables are some of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, including many nutrients not found in any other foods. Unfortunately conventionally grown greens have been sprayed with too many herbicides and pesticides to provide good nutrition. Buy organic greens or supplement with certified organic In-Liven Probiotic green superfood that contains also 13 different bacteria for a healthy colon (http://www.TheSpringOfLife.net/Inliven.html);

    * lacto-fermented beverages are the most healthful beverages available, supplying our bodies with beneficial probiotics, enzymes, rapid hydration and enhanced digestion. They promote our overall well-being and stamina. Some typical fermented beverages include kefir, grape cooler, natural ginger ale, kombucha, kvass. Or You can add 1 teaspoonful of ONE Group's Organic Fast Track (http://thespiritoflife.mionegroup.com) to a glass of juice and get all the same benefits;

    * honey (unheated and unrefined) is one of the most powerful healing foods we have at our disposal. Generations of grandmothers prepared hot honey drinks to soothe sore throats, calm frayed nerves, and ensure a good night's sleep. Asthmatics often swear by honey's ability to help them breathe easier. Honey wipes out bacteria that cause diarrhea. Honey may eliminate such disease causing bacteria as salmonella, Shigella, E.coli, and cholera;

    * high omega-3 eggs are nature's nearly perfect food. Eggs contain all known nutrients except for vitamin C. Despite the unfounded cholesterol scare of the last 15 years, eggs can be a healthy addition to anyone's diet; they can actually help reduce the risk of both heart disease and cancer;

    * berries, such as blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries are super-foods, containing some of the highest levels of antioxidants known to man... helping to reverse some of the effects of aging;

    * fruit should always be eaten before meals and not after meals... for eaten before other foods, fruit helps to cleanse the colon;

    * drinking water during meals may leave You feeling bloated. Water should be drank before meals. This way You will not overeat either;

    * current estimates suggest that women are gaining weight to the tune of 450g and men 225g each year despite the many diets they undertake. New studies indicate that the weight gain is due to the large amount of synthetic substances found in our food, home-care and personal-care products. Our own natural weight-control system is being poisoned by the toxic chemicals that we encounter in our everyday lives – this damage makes it increasingly difficult for our bodies to control their own weight, so we end up getting fatter even if we eat less food;

    * toxic synthetic chemicals are highly fat soluble and when we are exposed to them the body creates fat to safely store those toxins it cannot process and eliminate safely;

    * 60-70% of all personal-care products are absorbed through our skin into our bodies... so for good health it is very important to choose personal-care products that are as free from synthetic substances as possible.

    ...in conclusion, lets promote our overall health by laughing more, taking the quiet time to pray and eating healthy! ...and lets not forget to exercise regularly... and enjoy the people in our lives.

    I wish You all great joy, great peace and greater overall health,

    Eve

    Victory in Christ

    "Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me."
    (Isaiah 54:15)

    Last night we received a very sorrow-filled email at My Walk With Jesus from a young lady. She was not an atheist, but she did question: where is God when I am suffering? How come there is so much pain in my life? Doesn't God see it? Doesn't God care? Why isn't He doing anything about it? It was such a sorrow filled email. I shared with her the Truth as well as I knew how to... trying to follow the leadings and promptings of the Holy Spirit. I am going to share the same verses here.... as there might be someone who needs to read them. ...for there are times in our own lives, when we as Christians might also doubt and have the same questions to God!

    That young lady was asking why did God kick me out? Why did God deceive me?

    Dear friends, please pray with me for Michelle, believing that the Holy Spirit will minister the Truth to her and she will surrender her life to the Lord... so that the torment would cease in her life. Thank You!!!

    ... the Truth is that Jesus would never leave us nor forsake us. He would never hurt us nor harm us in any way. How could He? He died for YOU! He died for ME! Jesus was willing to die a shameful death on the cross and be separated from the Father so that through His death and resurrection He would break the power of the devil over us and give us life... and life more abundantly.

    The Bible is the Promises of God to us. Through the Bible we can learn to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through the Bible we can also learn to know how the Lord thinks, how He acts, how He treats us. God is not unpredictable. We can truly know Him. Bible and God are one.

    He has promised You personally in Hebrews 13:5 "He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" He stresses it 3 times that HE WILL NOT leave any of us helpless nor forsake us nor let down His loving hold on us! He will never do that!

    Whatever we have been through, whatever abuse, whatever pain, God Himself has been by our side through it all. He has NOT forsaken us nor kicked us away. He loves us. For HE IS LOVE. (1 John 4:16) Unfortunately this world is under the control of the devil.

    The Bible tells us in Genesis 1 that "God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority... So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish or the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth." (verses 26-28) Verse 31 continues to say: "And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely."

    God created everything absolutely perfect! God created a man and a woman absolutely perfect and without any sin. God intended it all to stay that way... but as God creates only what is perfect, He gave a man a free will. God did not create a puppet for Himself. He created a man who He desired to be in fellowship with. God is Love and He created a man to love him... unfortunately Adam and Eve were deceived by the devil. Through this deception they surrendered the dominion that God had given to them over the whole earth to the devil.

    Genesis 3 tells us the story: "Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?" ...this is the favorite line of the devil. He still comes to every one of us with the same line: "can it really be that God has said...." Satan came to a woman and gave her the impression that God was withholding something from her. Satan gave her the impression that she could not trust God. Thus the devil craftily deceived the woman.

    The devil is not stupid. The Bible tells in Ezekiel 28 and in Isaiah 14 about the fall of the devil. God did not create a devil. God created a beautiful arch angel. The Bible says that Lucifer was perfect in beauty and there was music in him. But Lucifer became proud and he wanted to be like God. He wanted to lift himself above God to rule and to reign... and instead he fell under God's wrath. Still the devil did not give up. He knew that God had given dominion to the man. He also knew that if he could deceive the man, he could usurp his dominion and start dominating himself. And this is exactly what happened.

    Adam and Eve did not believe God. Instead they started to question God, by listening to the lies of the devil. They did exactly what the devil wanted them to do and the result was this: "And the Lord God says, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever - therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life."

    Before the deception by the devil Adam and Eve had only known good... now their eyes opened also to evil. God never intended them to know evil. Now God had to immediately send Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden, lest they eat from the tree of life... which would have meant that Adam and Eve and thus the whole mankind would have lived forever... in their fallen state, under the power and control of the devil. God had to send them away from His holy presence, lest they die for no sin could ever stand the presence of the holy God. If Adam and Eve would have stayed in the Garden of Eden any longer, they would have died in the holy presence of God, thus there would have been no more humans... or they would have eaten from the tree of life and thus lived forever in their fallen state, under the power and dominion of the devil.

    God had no choice but the send them out. It grieved his heart, but He had no choice. He wanted to save the mankind. So, He put into action His plan B which was to send for mankind a sinless and perfect Savior in Whom there would never be any sin, thus breaking the power of sin over us. At the same time He had to send someone born of a woman who would be tempted just like we all are, though without sin... so that He would perfectly understand every one of our temptations, our hurts and pains and sorrows... so that He could have compassion on us. Hebrews 4:14,15 says: "For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning."

    God sent the Savior to each and every single one of us. John 3:16 says: "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." God loved us so that He gave the very best He had for us! Jesus says in John 10:10: "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."

    God loved each of us so much, He prized each of us so dearly that He gave up His only begotten Son so that we could have and enjoy life to the full, till it overflows! Wow! This is God's will for us! John 10:10 (above) says clearly that if there is stealing, killing and destroying going on, it is the work of the devil. Unfortunately he is running rampant in this world at the moment. The Bible also warns us that during the last days the evil becomes more evil. So, it is NOT God who is our problem... it is the devil.

    Ephesians 6:12 says very clearly who is our problem: "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere."

    Satan is our problem, not God. God is here to help us and love us and protect us... if we do things His way. God knows our enemy the best. He knows his lies and deceptions and He warns us about them through His Word. God has once and for all defeated the devil - through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we accept this precious sacrifice and ask Jesus to be our personal Savior and our Lord, we have the power over the devil. This is what Christ's death on the cross is all about. God had to break the power of the devil over mankind. He could only do it through a sinless, yet human being... it could only be His Son, Jesus Christ. Through his death and resurrection Christ completely defeated the power of the devil. But we in ourselves do not have the power over the devil. In Christ, though, we have been given all the power and authority over the devil and over his wickedness.

    Listen to what Ephesians chapter 2 says: "And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins in which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. But God - so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own striving], but it is the gift of God." (verses 1-2,4-5,8)

    When we by faith accept the sacrifice of Christ, we become saved. We do not get saved because we are such wonderful people... we only get saved when we by faith accept the free gift, the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Romans 10:10 teaches us that "with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation."

    When we ask God for the forgiveness of our sins and ask Jesus to come and live in our hearts and become our Savior and our Lord, we get saved... we are immediately transferred from the kingdom of the devil into the kingdom of God. Colossians 1:13 tells us what happens when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior: "[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins."

    When we get saved, we change the Lords. We no longer have the devil as our lord, we now have Jesus Christ as our Lord. Now we have Christ in our hearts and all His power and all His wisdom is at our disposal. Now we can use the name of Jesus Christ against the power of the devil and the devil will have to submit to us. Far too often though, we as Christians expect God to fight our battles, when He right in the beginning of the creation gave us the authority and power to rule and reign in this life... though not over people... but over the spiritual forces that are using those people to torment us. We have the power and authority over those sprits but far too often even Christians allow the devil to oppress them. When Jesus sent out his 70 disciples, they came back to Him with great joy and great surprise, saying: "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!"

    God says to us in Luke 10:19: "Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you." I recently heard Billye Brim say that a man either dominates or he is being dominated. She is so right! We either take the authority that has been given to us over the devil and his bunch... or we will be dominated by them. We do not dominate people, we dominate the powers of the devil who are sent to oppress us or other people.

    That is why Ephesians 6:13 tells us to "put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]." We are not strong against the devil in ourselves. We are strong only through Christ - the perfect sacrifice - who broke the power of the devil for us. We, in Christ have the power over the devil and we will have to use it. The devil will never leave our lives unless we command him to. God is a gentleman, He never ever intrudes. He never forces Himself into our lives. Even when we are in difficulties, if He is not asked to come and help, He can't do it. He has given us a free will. The devil though does not care. He only wants to control. He comes into our lives uninvited and he will not leave until we take the authority in Christ and command him to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.

    This is the perfect victory that Christ won for us on the Cross! This is the greatest victory ever... and we are going to celebrate it again this week end... with great joy and thanksgiving! Christ won perfect victory for us so that we might have life and have it more abundantly! Wow!
