    Dancing With God

    Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,

I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.

I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,

and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,

both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back

or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.

    The dance takes surrender, willingness,

    and attentiveness from one person

and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.

When I saw "G: I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".

    "God, "u" and "i" dance."

    God, you, and I dance.

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust

that I would get guidance about my life.

Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings

and mercies be upon you on this day and everyday.

May you abide in God as God abides in you.

Dance together with God, trusting God to lead

and to guide you through each season of your life.

This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.

If God has done anything for you in your life,

please share this message with someone else,

for prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.

    There is no cost but a lot of rewards;

so let's continue to pray for one another.

    And I Hope You Dance

    Author unknown to me.

    United Prayer-Power, True Ammunition

"And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense (fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God's people (the saints)." (Rev. 5:8)

I wanted to share most amazing news with You! Since my last post on Thursday and since lots of prayers been lifted up to God about Michael - my friend's brother who was in Iraq - he has been sent home! God moved him away from the danger zone! Just like that!

Also, about my other friend, who found out that her son was an autist... to whom docotors told that there was NO cure. We found a website that says: THERE IS CURE FOR AUTISM. There are support groups and discussion groups and also all information that she could possible need.

God is amazing! HE MOVES POWERFULLY WHEN HIS PEOPLE PRAY! Wow!

I would here ask You to pray with me for a lady called Linda. She is over 50 and the Lord led her to find my website and she contacted me. I felt immediately that I needed to be by her side and help her grow in her Christian walk. It is not easy as she is from a completely broken home... but I know God immediately started moving... but now, last night, she let me know that her 16 year-old niece Trisha was killed in a car crash! It broke my heart to hear about it. Please lets together lift Linda and Trisha's family up in prayer and ask for God's peace and supernatural comfort over them all... and that the Lord would take this situation and bring life out of it to Trisha's mourning family... bringing all of them to Christ.

Thank You all for Your love & prayers!

    Many blessings to You,

    Eve

    Good News

My Walk With Jesus, Christian encouragement newspaper and website is celebrating its first birthday in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Although the paper is only 1 year old, it has already traveled to different continents of the world, being read in US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. The owner of the paper, James Imbragulia comments: "The Lord put it on my heart in March '05 to begin the paper (the first issue was printed in Jan. '06). I said there's no human way and there wasn't, but there was a God way. He made the roads straight for the money, time and resources to begin publishing it."

James, who has been a truck driver his whole life, is not a newcomer in publishing industry. While living without the Lord Jesus as His Savior, he published a country music newspaper. With contagious enthusiasm James continues to share his vision: "I feel it was from the Lord because it constantly stayed on my mind, even when I tried to think of other things and put it out of my mind. It was there from the time I woke up until I went to bed. He not only made the roads straight, He gave me the confidence to begin it."

My Walk With Jesus is a 16-page newspaper, filled with real life stories and testimonies of God's power to help and heal when circumstances are hard. It contains strong encouraging and uplifting articles from gifted story tellers and anointed Bible teachers. One whole page is dedicated to poetry lovers and a page for prayer needs. The readers’ funny bones have not been forgotten either. The newest project is a health section.

Many readers have sent their thank you notes to James. Here are a few:

"Thank you. I have received the February issue of My Walk With Jesus. You have done a fine job. I am impressed with the large number of contributing writers. It is evident that God is blessing your ministry.

May God continue to bless your ministry in a special way.

    Richard Wimer :o) Washington"

"I love reading articles, stories and testimonies from people who really experienced them in their lives. Your paper is very interesting and spiritually uplifting.

May God bless you, Jim in your service for Him.

    Edna Weaver, TN"

"I have been so excited to watch your paper grow. I love your web site too! Isn't it wonderful to see God's hand working? Thanks so much!

    In Christ! Lisa Buffaloe, Texas"

    "Dear James,

The October issue of My Walk With Jesus is an inspirational testament to Christianity. My favorite pieces were "Because of Me" and "Where Angels Walk". Story telling is a great way to share a message without sounding preachy.

Blessings to you, Karen O'Leary, ND"

"I got my newspaper yesterday my friend and I just finished reading it. It always uplifts me with its stories of love and light. I especially loved the story from the foreign exchange student. I will keep him in my prayers. God bless you always. Wishing you every joy,

    Joe Mazzella, WV"

"I'm so blessed with your website... I will tell my friends to look at it too.

    In Christ, Betchie, Philippines"

"My Walk With Jesus how vibrant and alive

each story and poem about how we survive

how encouraging and inspiring I find as I read

and I do thank you dear friend JIM for sending indeed.

    No Weapon Formed...

"My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved. With God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God! Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!" (Psalm 62:5-8)

Last night I got an email from my very dear friend who let me know that her brother was in war in Iraq and right in the middle of the warfare. She and her family were really concerned about his safety. This morning another one of my friends called me, giving me the whole report which she and her husband had just received from the doctors, concerning their beautiful 4-year-old son. They were told that their little son had autism. What do you do when you get news like that?! If we didn't have God as our rock, our salvation, our defense, and our fortress... we would most probably fall into pieces. There is nothing we could humanly do to change such situations.

Still, in the middle of all this, God tells us to trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him. He tells us to come to Him and pour out our hearts before Him, for He is a refuge for us, a fortress, and a high tower. We know that we need to be strong and stand in faith in such situations... but first God tells us to silently submit to Him and to pour our hearts out to Him. I know that when I am in pain emotionally, when something hurts inside of me, I can't be strong at the same time. I will first have to pour out my pain to Him and when I have done that, He is able to supernaturally strengthen me and fill me with His "peace [that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God... that peace ] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Phil.4:7)

When we pour out our souls to Him and give our burdens over to Him... peace comes... peace, that is beyond this world. Jesus promises us in John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]"

In the middle of distress, the Lord commands us to stop allowing ourselves to be agitated and disturbed. He commands us to not permit ourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled... for He is with us. When we pour our heart out to Him, giving the whole of our care to Him and let His peace fill us... He is able to minister to us through His Holy Spirit... showing us the things that we need to know about our present situation. He knows ALL. He knows everything about our situation. He alone knows what is the right way to act right where we are. We might get so much good information from outside, from friends, from family... but ONLY He knows what is the right way to act in our situation in order to come out in victory. We need to completely calm down before Him and listen to what He has to say.

God has promised us: "For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quietness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength." (Isaiah 30:15)

When we are calm, only then can we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit within our spirits. If we have not taken time daily to seek Him and His presence, it will take us a lot longer to come into the place of complete peace where we can hear His guidance within us... but the Truth is that every single born again believer CAN hear the guidance of the Lord in our heart/spirit. It is there... and God speaks when we are at peace.

Colossians 3:15 says: "And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]."

God says that it is up to us to achieve the complete peace in our hearts and then let this peace, the soul harmony to act as umpire - THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - CONTINUALLY in our hearts... for God can lead us and minister to us ONLY when we are at peace. The Scripture says that we have to let this peace to decide and settle with finality all questions that arise in our minds. God's peace in our hearts is our guidance. The Scripture also tells us to be thankful, appreciative, giving praise to God always. Sometimes it is the only way for us to achieve complete peace - through thanksgiving and praise. For during praise we take off our attention from our difficulties and put our attention on the Lord, on His Power to help us, on His unconditional Love for us, on His Wisdom to guide us.... and this helps us to hear the answer to our problem.

Isaiah 54:17 gives us a very powerful promise: "But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal servant of the Lord is reproduced]."

In spite of what the doctors had to say to my friend, she and her husband can boldly declare: "No weapon that is formed against our son shall prosper and every tongue of doctors that has risen against our son in judgment, we shall show to be in the wrong. We declare that our son is healthy and normal and a fast learner, in the mighty name of Jesus, we declare."

God has promised us that when we as believers take His promises and declare them back to Him, they WILL change every situation. God has already done His part... now it is up to us to trust His Promises and do our part. When we have poured out our hearts to Him and given our burdens over to Him... achieved the complete peace into our hearts, allowing His Spirit to strengthen us on the inside... we can rise up and boldly declare the promises of God over our own lives and over the lives of our loved ones. This is God's way of doing things and He fully expects us to do things His way... as He has taught us in Matthew 6:33 to "seek (aim at and strive after ) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides."

Whatever are the "things" we need, when we put God first and do things His Way, He is able to move in our situations and change them! So, how does God change things?! Psalm 33:9 says: "For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded; and it stood fast."

Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of God "is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart." God's Word has such power... but in order for His Word to have power to change anything at all... we need to speak it out of our mouths, just like God did. For Jeremiah 1:12 says that God is "alert and active, watching over His Word to perform it."

God has already provided us the way to be victorious in every single situation of our lives, we will just have to step out and do things His way! ...and the victory is ours!

    Many, many blessings to You,

    Eve

2 Kingdoms Ruling Within the Same Space at the Same Time

Hello to You all! I want to thank You so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! I feel very welcome in this space! Thank YOU ALL! Can I please ask You for a favor: could You please leave the name of Your blog after Your comment so that I could easily come and visit with YOU. I would be grateful if You would do that.

Although I do write also health articles, spirtuality is the most important thing to me... so, I will be posting some health articles in the future... but there are some things that I have on my heart that I would like to share with YOU.... right, here we go...

"King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put into his mind." (2 Chronicles 9:22,23) "Solomon son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and made him exceedingly great." (2 Chronicles 1:1)

King Solomon was the greatest king of all the earth... greatest in wisdom and greatest in riches. No one could even come close to his wisdom or riches. He was great because the Lord his God made him exceedingly great. God did it because Solomon's heart was sincere and open and honest towards Him. Though God, through Solomon's father David, warned Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9:

"Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and minds and understands all the wonderings of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] you will find him; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever."

Solomon succeeded and was great in power and wealth until he wholeheartedly searched the Lord. But when he became comfortable in his wisdom and wealth, and started to marry foreign wives who worshiped the gods of their nations, drawing Solomon into their religions, Solomon's kingdom started to go downhill. Such deception is always so subtle that we do not even notice it. So was it with Solomon. He was deceived but he did not even notice it. He started to go downhill slowly, little by little.

Biblical truths have become quite popular to be used in secular world too... for God's Truths work. I know people who use those Truths that the Bible teaches us in order to prosper: to tithe off of our income, to give to others, to change the image inside of us from living in lack to living in abundance, to speak the words of faith... and they prosper... without God. This really bothered me for quite a while. God gave us the principles of prosperity: tithing, giving, changing the image in our hearts, speaking the words of faith... but God also taught us to first submit to Him and receive Jesus Christ into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. Those people left that part out and still prospered on the principles of God. It really bothered me... not that they prospered... but using God's principles while not submitting to God... and the truths still working in their lives.

When I have questions, I NEED to get answers. Luckily God says in His Word: "If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him." (James 1:5) ...so, I asked God to help me to get answers to my questions... and step by step He started to show me the Truth.

When Adam disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden fruit, he fell from the position of authority that God had given him. Genesis 3:1 says that the devil(who had been the most beautiful of all angels and a worship leader in heaven but fell from his position of authority because of his pride) was "more subtle and crafty than any living creature." He deceived Adam and Eve and through this successful deception gained the rightful rulership over this world. John 12:31 and John 16:11 call the devil "the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world". The devil rightfully rules over this world and all the people who submit to him. This is the reason God continuously tells us through His Word to listen to Him and submit to Him. Even during the Old Testament times all people who worshiped God and submit to Him were protected and God prospered them... but as soon as they wondered off, they were on their own.

Yet, because God loved every one of us so very much, He designed a plan to get us out of the control of the evil one and give us back to the position of authority that He had given to Adam in the beginning. He needed to send a sinless person who was ready to become a sacrifice for our sins. He gave His best for us - His very own Son (John 3:16). Through Christ's death and resurrection we re-gained the authority we once had.

Revelation 12:9 says: "And the huge dragon was cast down and out - that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of ALL humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him." ...after his rebellion the devil and his angels lost their authority and were forced down to the earth where they now rule over all humans who do not submit to God. There is not one single human being who is on his/her own, without a ruler over him/her. We all are submitting to the Living God or to the evil genius, whom some translations call: "the god of this world"... consciously or unconsciously.... but we all have a ruler over us in the spirit realm. We make a choice who is the god over us.

There are 2 distinct kingdoms ruling in the same space at the same time: God's Kingdom and the Devil's kingdom.

Luke 17:21 teaches us that those who have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior: "the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you]."

Colossians 1:13,14 says that "[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins."

As the devil is the "god of this world" he has the power to prosper those who worship him through their words and their deeds. Of course most people do not worship the devil consciously, they just are deceived, thinking they are in control. The devil offered to prosper Jesus if He would worship him. Luke 4:5-7 says: "Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye]. And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [just once], it shall all be Yours." ...satan still prospers those who worship him... though in the end his intention is still to steal and kill and destroy everyone... Jesus said in John 10:10:

"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy, I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."

Now it is up to us to choose who will be the lord over our lives... to prosper us in every area of our lives... or to steal from us. God prospers His people when we trust in Him and deal according to the principles of His Kingdom... and also the devil prospers those who ask and believe for prosperity from him... prospering them in some areas of their lives... but all the same time also stealing, killing and destroying in other areas of their lives.

Proverbs 10:22 says: "The blessing of the Lord - it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

Matthew 6:33 tells us the same thing king David told his son Solomon: "But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides." ...God has promised to prosper us in every area of our lives - emotionally, mentally, socially, physically, financially... when we seek Him and His wisdom first.

Many, many blessings to You all... and thank You for visiting!

    Spiritual Authority At Home

"For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere." (Ephesians 6:12)

Just a few days ago one of my very good friends was reminded so clearly about it - we are not wrestling with people, but against the spirits who hold those people under their control. My friend has 3 kids, the oldest one being a teenager. There are so many temptations for kids. They are especially attracted to computer games, not realizing what is behind those games. They don't pay attention to their own behavior changing when they play the games. My friend noticed more and more that while her sons played those games, they became more violent towards each another and used really fowl language. She started to seek the Lord about what to do and how to deal with it.

She felt that she had to get rid of those games. So, she sat her boys down and told them that those computer games had them under their control, changing their behavior. She said that she would have to delete those games from their computers. As she said that, her elder son flipped. He just completely lost control and started to scream and shout and cry. My friend was startled at such behavior... and clueless as to what to do. She wanted to delete the games but did not know how to do it without getting an outburst. But as she sought the Lord, the Lord showed her the way.

1 Peter 5:8 says: "that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour."

James 4:7 says: "Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (NASB) God waits for us to submit to Him and then we will have to power over the enemy. The enemy though, doesn't wait for anyone to submit to him, he just seeks for an opening in someone's life through disobedience or rebelliousness or some other sin and immediately seizes the opportunity to destroy.

1 John 4:4 says: "Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world." If we have submitted to God, the Spirit of the Living God Himself lives within us and He (within us) is greater than any power of the enemy.

Matthew 12:29 says: "Or how can a person go into a strong man's house and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first binding the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house."

Luke 19:10 says: "Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you." We do not have the power over the enemy (spirits) by ourselves, but in Christ we have the power.

Philippians 2:10 says: "In (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." The spiritual powers that rule this world and people in it, recognize the power in the name of Jesus, spoken by a believer... and they will have to submit.

Matthew 16:19 says: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (NIV) God has given us the power and wisdom to operate in the spirit realm through and in His authority, changing things that are not right.

So, my friend, understanding that those where spiritual forces she was dealing with, took the authority that had been given her as a believer, using the power of the name of Jesus Christ, and bound the power of the enemy over her sons. She bound the demons that tried to control her sons and commanded them to let go of her sons and leave them and leave her house. She then asked for God's forgiveness for allowing the enemy to enter her home, and receiving the forgiveness, she released the peace and love and joy of the Lord and the presence of the Lord over her sons and her home, dedicating her home to the Lord.

The next day when she had decided to delete the demonic computer games no matter what... she was in for a surprise. There were no tears, no shouting, no screaming, no holding on to those games. Her sons were completely calm. Her younger son even showed her the bits in the games that were violent... and then they deleted them. There was complete peace in her home.

Wow! Huge difference between those two attempts to delete the games that were clearly affecting her kids in a very negative way! What happened? My friend sought the Lord for wisdom, and getting the answer and the direction from Him, she took the authority that had been given her as a believer and excercised her authority in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. She had never done that before. She had constantly had problems with her teenage son and she had constantly fought with him with not much success... until she realized who was her real enemy and how to fight him. She did not fight her son, she fought the enemy that tried to hold control over her son. She did not do it in human power. She did it in the name of Jesus Christ, the name that is "far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come." (Ephesians 1:21)

Mind control is the name of the game. There is so much mind control around us and if we do not consciously realize it, we too are manipulated by it. What is mind control? The attempt to make us think in a certain way... in a way someone else wants us to think. All advertizing is a sort of mind control... but a lot milder form than New Age or some other form of new religion that worships man's power and tries to make people think that they are all-mighty and all-powerful... only later realizing (may be never) that the one who is teaching those lies, is trying to exercise control over them. It is the lie of the enemy. We might try to exercise control over ourselves and over someone else... while not even being able control our own emotions, addictions and behavior... there is someone more powerful holding control over us. The book of Revelation says that "the whole world is under the control of the evil one." ...the WHOLE world... not just parts of it are under the control of the evil one. We kid ourselves, thinking that we have things under our control. If we have not submitted to God, we surely are under the control of the evil one. We do not have control, we are being controlled! But if we have submitted to the Lord Jesus Christ, then we have the power of God within us and the wisdom of God at our disposal... and we have the promise of God:

"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Have not I commanded You? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:5,9)

    Many blessings to You all,

    Eve
