    Forgiveness Day 3

This is day three of the teaching on forgiveness. If you would like to hear the teaching, just go to http://www.soulwinnerradio.com/PastorScottDavidson and listen. You may also download it from the “Details” page. This is taken from Forgiveness 1.

Matthew 26:28  for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.

    The meaning of forgiveness:

The provision for remission of sins is Christ’s blood. Why is that? Because of the law. Hebrews 9:11-22 But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it. For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives. Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you." Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in like manner with the blood. According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

When Christ was on the cross, you will remember about the renting of the vale in the temple? Matthew 27:45-56 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lima  sabachthani?" That is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Some of them who stood there, when they heard it, said, "This man is calling Elijah." Immediately one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him a drink. The rest said, "Let him be. Let's see whether Elijah comes to save him." Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit. Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many. Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God." Many women were there watching from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, serving him. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

Check out verse 51 Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. Why? Right at the death of Christ an offering had been made. An offering that was acceptable, was required and fulfilled the law. I am trying to get to the meaning of forgiveness. In Hebrews 9:11-22 what law are we talking about? Let me show you what happened when Christ was crucified. I am talking about the law in connection to forgiveness. We are digging deep here to get the whole weight of the blood of Jesus Christ in light of the provision that has been made for you. The law sets out the requirement that demands fulfillment for you to receive forgiveness.  The law says that without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

When Jesus was crucified the vale was torn in two and that made a way for the new, eternal High Priest to take His eternal place. When Jesus went in to the most holy place prior to that day there was the law that required a high priest to go in to that holy place only once a year offer atonement for the people’s sins and for his sins. But since the crucifixion, since a Holy sacrifice has been made, the vale in the temple was torn in two meaning that there is a new and living way in which you may approach God.

Christ entered before us, making intercession for us and took His Priestly Office as the Eternal High Priest of God. He now makes intercession for you day and night. The new and living way was provided for when the law was fulfilled. Matthew 5:17-20 "Don't think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill. For most assuredly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Forgiveness is the remedy that allows you to have the right standing before God. The blood of Christ makes a way for your blatant, raw, nasty sins to be paid for. And now the Great Holy God can justly forgive you. He is a just God. He doesn’t kick your sin under the dirt. He deals with it justly. Your sins are dealt with justly. Through Christ’s blood God is willing to forgive you.

The meaning of forgiveness in light of the fulfillment is Christ entering the most holy place. The priestly office of the high priest from an earthly view point terminated. The Way to God has been opened. The Great High Priest has taken His new place. And there is a new and living way that you must approach God. It is by faith that you come. It is by faith that you receive forgiveness of sins. It is by the blood of Christ that you may have provision to approach a Holy God.  Jesus said that unless your righteousness is greater than that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Who can keep the law?…  Christ. How can you benefit from the law? You must be in Him that is True. You must be in Him that is Pure. You must be yielded to the One that is the Head of all things. Whose blood redeemed you. Whose blood saved you. Whose spirit empowers you. Who gives you life. Who gives you breath. Who gives you guidance to turn from sin. Who gives you power to say no to ungodliness and unrighteousness. Whose spirit presence gives you self-control to say no to ungodliness. That is how you walk in the imputed righteousness of Christ. It is by faith that you are justified. It is by faith in Christ. It is by faith in the Son of God that you have a position in Him that God justly declares you blameless. And it is because of your condition before God and the favor of God coming down on you where before you were under wrath.    John 3:36 One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." Before you were unsaved now you are redeemed. Before you were under wrath but now you are in grace. It is through the Grace of God that you walk uprightly. It is through the Grace of God that you say no to ungodliness. It is through the Grace of God that you confess your sins and experience the ministry of the Holy Spirit that convicts you of your sins and turns you from a life of ungodliness and sinfulness. Where before, you were on earth without God without the presence of the Holy Spirit and you had no restraint to say no to ungodliness therefore sin abounds. Restraint from sin is not there. But now, your sins and transgressions are covered. Yes, you are now covered. Yes, you are now in Christ. Yes, you are now a new creation. Yes, you are now a Holy Spirit filled believer. Yes, you are now on the pathway to righteousness. Surely I am not the only one excited about this.

Romans 4:1-5 What then will we say that Abraham, our forefather, has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt. But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

Catch the fact that God justifies the ungodly.  In your state before you met Christ or were born again God called you wicked or ungodly. God saw you as an enemy. God saw you under the law. God saw you under the curse. God saw you separated from eternal life and from His Holy Presence.  Now you have been set free from the curse of the law. You’ve been set free from the judgment and the wrath of God. You have been set free from that inherent sinful nature. Why is that? Romans 4:5 But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. See? He is accredited for his faith. By faith, what is faith, belief with legs on it, belief with trust.

Romans 4:7-8 "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, Whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin."

This is forgiveness in essence and context. He is good and His Word endures forever. He is good and His Mercy endures forever. He is good and His Truth endures forever.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Do you realize when you are in a place where you receive forgiveness from the Father that you are wiped clean? That you become a new creation and you become qualified to become a temple where God’s Spirit chooses to dwell. There was a time in our lives when we did not even want to look at ourselves in the mirror. I did not want to see myself in the mirror because I was under such guilt. I was not in the position to become anything’s temple. Let alone the Holy Spirit’s Temple.

Ephesians 1:7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

It’s by Grace that you can approach God. It is through unmerited favor that you can speak to the Holy One of Israel. Think what a privilege it is to speak to the Creator of the Whole Universe. That He is willing to even listen to you. That He delights in the prayers of His Children. And He delights in answering them. And He will withhold no good thing to those who fear Him. It is rich. It is deeply rich.

So, how does one receive forgiveness from the Father?  Number one is by believing. You  heard me talk about the importance of belief. Do you realize that when you are forgiven of sins you are adopted by Jesus? John 6:25-35 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, "Rabbi, when did you come here?" Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled. Don't work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him." They said therefore to him, "What must we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent." They said therefore to him, "What then do you do for a sign, that we may see, and believe you? What work do you do? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, 'He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.'" Jesus therefore said to them, "Most assuredly, I tell you, it wasn't Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world." They said therefore to him, "Lord, always give us this bread." Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Unbelief will cause you to have a fruitless uncontrolled life without being lead. You must believe the promises of God. You must believe the source of the promises. You must know Him Who is True that you may believe Him. That is the lesson of the people that came to the gate and He said, “Depart, I never knew you. You workers of iniquity.”  You see, they were walking in the church but they did not know the Head of the church. Through belief, obedience, reliance and dependency, intimacy with God are absolutely non-negotiable things you must have. Celebrate your forgiveness. Celebrate it in prayer offering a spiritual sacrifice of thanksgiving, thanking God for the blood that made a way for you to have redemption. Thanking God for His willingness to forgive you for all your unrighteousness and join mercy on others when they hurt you because you, too, have been given mercy. Do you see the mindset here? It has to be in you. It is not something that you respond to by text book , it something you respond to because of your ID. Because of your DNA. At one time it was acceptable and “cool” to be bitter. In order for you to fit right in, it was acceptable to be the gossip that talked about someone else because you were so bitter and angry you thought it was “cool” that’s how you got your bread. But, now, your bread is the “bread of life”. Finding pride and joy in unforgiveness is no longer in your DNA. But your DNA must be your willingness to humble yourself and likewise forgive as you, too, have been forgiven.

Tomorrow we will continue. God Bless.

Pastor Scott Davidson recommends that we get audio Bibles. I understand why as I have the New Testament on CDs, now. Every morning I get up and listen to a couple or more chapters and my understanding is opened up more plus I seem to be able to remember more than I have just reading. The International Bible Society has a couple of really good audio Bibles at reasonable prices. I found the link by going to http://www.soulwinnerradio.com/PastorScottDavison . I found his teachings right there, too.

    Forgiveness Day 2

For the next few blogs we are going to be on the subject of forgiveness. Forgiveness is the crux of what we believe. Without it, nothing else makes sense.

The lesson on Forgiveness is an extensive one. It covers the forgiveness we receive from God, the forgiveness we extend to others and the forgiveness we receive from others.  Pride can stand in the way of receiving forgiveness from others. They don’t want to receive forgiveness because they are relishing in their pride. That is not easy to understand.

Let’s look at the conditions of forgiveness by the Father.

Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

This lesson is for those who already believe those who do not believe will not understand what is being said. Sometimes we do not value the Grace of God that has been given us and we choose not to extend mercy and that really troubles the Lord. He wants us to reflect and remember. Back when there were animal and bird sacrifices being made, they had to watch the slaughter of something they had daily contact with. When they sinned they had to give a bullock that they had daily contact with. They witnessed the terror that came on an animal that they had contact with on a daily basis. The consequence of their sin was visual.

God wants us to reflect on our previous life and remember that because of the slaughter of the Lamb of God, you are in a position of Grace and you have received forgiveness, not by your own merits, but because of Sovereign Provision, you have been extended Grace. In other words, because of Christ being crucified you received provision so that you could receive the spiritual remedy of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a spiritual remedy. It is a remedy for the burden of your sin. If you are not forgiving others, you have lost your way. You have forgotten that you, too, were under condemnation, you, too, had sins multiplied. In other words, He wants us to reflect on the state of our condition prior to us receiving forgiveness from Him.

The Holy Spirit is teaching us to emulate Christ. Remember the woman at the well? There Jesus recalled the woman’s sins and forgave her. If we do not forgive other’s sins then we cannot receive God’s mercy. If we hold unforgiveness in our hearts then it is like a seedling and it seeds bitterness. And every other kid of confusion and evil will follow. It becomes a seed that grows into weeds of hard heartedness and hard headedness and every other kind of wickedness will come from that seedling.

God wants you to tend your temple. Allow the gardener to tend you and you tend the temple. What temple am I referring to?  1Cor. 3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?  Can unforgiveness abide in the temple of the Holy Spirit and be in good standing with God? Absolutely not.  It is a matter of stewardship that you tend the temple that is you.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

It is not just for your benefit that God wants you to forgive, but, it is for the sake of your witness.  What does your face look like when you are holding unforgiveness? It looks like you ate on lemons and sour pickles for an hour. There is no joy. When unforgiveness settled in the camp, joy left. What does that do for your witness?   John 15:9-12 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.

Why does He want you to forgive? Because you receive forgiveness. Why does He want you to tend the temple? Because you are a witness.  A witness of what? A witness of the Living God Who is dwelling in you and if you hold to unforgiveness, it is contrary to Christ’s likeness. Therefore the witness to Christ is damaged.

Luke 3:3 He came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for remission of sins.

Can you expect to receive forgiveness without repentance? It’s folly. It is like expecting to receive the promises of God without belief. It’s insanity. You’ll never receive with double-mindedness. You’ll never receive the promise without belief. Confession of sin is just one portion of the process. Repentance is a universal requirement of God. The repentance that Christ is looking for in your life is a life-style. It means you have a value set that would not permit you to hold unforgiveness. It means that you are unwilling to allow that to occupy the Temple of God in which you are. That is repentance in light of unforgiveness.

When you accept unforgiveness, then you are accepting the unacceptable in light of who you are; In light of the calling of God on your life, of the office of the ambassadorship, the priesthood of the believer. Do you realize that you have been called and you have been called by birthright in to the priesthood of God?  And the countenance of unforgiveness does not allow the emulation of Christ to come forth in the ministry and priesthood. Do you see the danger of it?  So, what is repentance in light of unforgiveness? That you would have a value set and that you would not tolerate unforgiveness and see it as an enemy. You would see it as an unacceptable character that God does not want to remain in you.

Luke 17:3-4 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."

For your sake, forgive even if they do not repent. If you hold unforgiveness, whether they repent or not, you become the prisoner. When Jesus says that someone comes to you seven times a day and says they repent, you should forgive them, does that sound negotiable? It is non-negotiable. This is a direct command. Do you understand the weight of this? Why, of who you are you would not let the value set of unforgiveness remain in you. As an act of obedience forgive everyone, even the one in the mirror.

Tomorrow we will continue with this thought. God bless.

“Hi. I was wondering where the best place is to look for books to teach my children at home? With all the violence and false teaching in the schools today, I am leaning toward home study for my children.”

“Totally understand your concerns. I found Christian Books to have the most extensive selection of home study books. They even have them bundled so you can buy a subject all together. And they have all sorts of wonderful Easter cards and projects and things that cover almost every aspect of the Christian lifestyle. I get into the Christian fiction books myself. I’ll tell you where I found Christian books. Just go to http://www.soulwinnerradio.com and click on the Christian Books.com link right above the picture of the station manager. It is small but, if you click it, you are in for big rewards.”

Surrounding myself with Audible Faith keeps me in an atmosphere that is much easier to experience the faith that I have. They say that there is constant music and praise to the Lord in heaven. So, I guess Audible faith is as close to heaven as we are going to get down here.

I find myself overwhelmed with the selection at the Audible Faith music store. To help me, I first go to the charts to find what is being played most often. Hanging around this website and the store is where I want to be.

I found Audible Faith by going to: http://www.soulwinnerradio.com and scrolling to the ad for Audible Faith and clicking it. Wow! Do they have what I was looking for!

    Forgiveness 1

For the next few blogs I am going to send Pastor Scott’s teaching on forgiveness. Why? Because I feel that this is the most important understanding before all other except the fact that Jesus died and rose again. I am not going to add or take away any part of this teaching as I feel it is very important that we see it as it was presented by the Holy Spirit through Pastor Scott. If you wish to hear the entire teaching you may go to www.soulwinnerradio.com/PastorScottDavidson and listen or click on “details” for a download.

    Introduction

The disciple gives him or herself as a sacrifice to God. Living for a period on earth without God then, a period with God on board 1 Cor. 3:16 & 17, 2 Cor. 6:19-20.  That you would make the transition from becoming a believer as is written in John 6:29. With Christ on board to becoming an intentional learner who is a “living temple”, who has offered their body for the King’s service and yields to the Holy Spirit’s leadership and becomes a second by second Holy Spirit lead, disciplined learner who is a follower, then making the natural transition from becoming a disciplined learner, who is a follower, (i.e. disciple), to becoming a believer who is a disciple maker.  Do you see the three-fold transition?

    On earth without God.

    On earth with God.

    On earth following God.

On earth making disciples for God.

That process should not be stagnated. There is a natural flow to that and it doesn’t happen over night.

Disciples that are because of legalist duty last about twenty-four hours. Disciples who are fueled by gratitude and the understanding of Who God is and what God has done for them and what He requires of them remain throughout this life.  Because it is movement out of celebration that He is the Lord.  He is with me. You are moving on the celebration that I was lost, but, now I am found.  You are moving out of the celebration that I was condemned, but, now I am justified. You are moving in the celebration that He is cleaning me up.  He is transforming me. So in celebration of these Biblical truths and understanding of why you are hear on earth and what your purpose is.  In other words, you were fashioned in the image of the Lord and you were redeemed from the curse of the law and the condemnation that came through our forefather Adam. But, now, you are in Christ and on earth and you are an ambassador for Jesus.  Literally. It is not by application, it is by sovereign generation that you became a child of God. I am trying to encourage you to understand these truths and celebrate them.

This is a list of irrespirable foundational doctrinal truths:

The Doctrine of the Holy Trinity

    The Doctrine of Creation

    Grace

    Salvation

    Baptism

    Forgiveness

    Faith Without Works is Dead

    The Biblical Family

    Life in Heaven

    Dependency on God through Prayer

    The Deity of Christ Jesus

    The Fall of Man

    Repentance

    Gift of Righteousness

    Resurrection of Christ

    Holy Communion

    Doctrine of Worship

    The Christian World View

    Biblical Marriage

    Civil Responsibilities to the Church

The Person of the Holy Spirit

     Spiritual Separation from God

    Faith

    Justification By Faith

    Reconciliation

    The resurrection of the Righteous

    Death to the Sinful Nature

    Stewardship

    The Future Promises

    The Blessed Hope

    Complete Joy

    The Doctrine of Holiness

These truths, you should not only understand, but communicate to others. And be in a position to do that as the Holy Spirit leads, not in legalistic duty. Do you understand the difference?  Legalistic duty becomes tiresome and wearisome.  Holy Spirit Cooperation becomes an explosion of joy in your life.  There is a big difference. Being Holy Spirit lead and duty is like night and day. It is like darkness and light.

My philosophy on discipleship and evangelism is that it is exclusively lead by the Holy Spirit because no man (or woman) leads another man (or woman) to Christ. It is a divine work from the beginning before the foundations of the world until the end. It is sourced by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Men are just privileged to cooperate witnessing Christ Jesus and declaring His Truths.  Because conviction of the Holy Spirit is a Work of God. Being given the privilege to believe is a Work of God. The believer choosing to believe is a Privilege of God. In other words, if you are an agent of the Lord, you are an ambassador for Christ, and God has given you the privilege to walk in that whether or not you choose to cooperate, the privilege is there, the offer of participation is there. It is clearly up to us, in a freewill manner, to choose to cooperate.

Pastor Scott Davidson recommends that we get audio Bibles. I understand why as I have the New Testament on CDs, now. Holy Spirit 1

Pastor Scott’s teaching on the Holy Spirit culminated into dependence & obedience of the Holy Spirit. Mission one of the Holy Spirit is the forgiveness of sins, extending grace, and the building of His church.

Pastor Scott explained that each of our faith stories is unique. At the same time we all have in common that we are living temples housing the Holy Spirit. 1Cor. 3:16. This is, of course for believing disciples. The Holy Spirit lives in you.

Pastor Scott instructed us to cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s pruning by confessing our sins so that He can make us fit for service. We should know Him, cooperate with Him, and show affection to Him. We can do this through worship, ( Rom. 12:1-2, Dan. 2:19, Neh. 8:6), reverence, (Mal. 2:1-17), obedience, (John 15:10) this helps you on your journey to be of service to God and others. Offering your body every day for service in prayer helps you to focus your efforts on service the Lord daily.

Reverence is yielding to Him. Obedience is worshiping or caring for Him. Other references are 1Peter 2:1-3 & 5, 1 John 3:16, Gal. 6:2.

You can listen to Pastor Scott’s teachings on Soul Winner Radio at its new address: http://www.soulwinnerradio.com. Or you can click on Pastor Scott and listen from his page.

If you are looking for a great online place to listen to, download, or buy the best in Christian music, may I suggest Faith Audio? Just go to the Soul Winner Radio homepage scroll down to the little article on Faith Audio and click a link. Really, the atmosphere is great and so are the products. Meet you in the village.

How would you like to help us feed and give other help to the homeless and jobless in the Dayton, Ohio area? There are two ways you can do that. One is become a VIP member through LIVE 365. Doing that will take their commercials off and give you a clearer signal to the station. At the same time it would give us the extra money to help those in Dayton, Ohio and the country of India who are homeless and/or jobless. Prices start at $5.95 per month and would be a BIG help!

I am suggesting that you go to: http://www.soulsinnerradio.com scroll to the links and go to Audible Faith. Please do this so that our food pantry can get a percentage of the profits from any sale you may make. God bless and thank you just for looking.

Do You Have to See It?

I realize that I haven’t been writing lately but it has been a rather hard winter with the flu, Pastor Davidson and his surgery, etc. But, it hasn’t been all bad and I have been studying and learning some things over again and some new things.

My job for the Lord, (If I chose to accept it.), is to market a radio station that will send out His message to the world. I am to use the techniques that are given on the Internet to put His message out to those who are so desperate that they will try almost anything to destroy the efforts of others, or lure others to buy what they are selling, when if they would receive the Word of God, they would not need to be so desperate.

I am to engage in the same techniques that marketers use to persuade you that listening to the Word of God will change your life. That’s right. This product or that will change your life, according to today’s marketing strategies. Today we are to be convinced that man-made just about anything can change our lives and make everything great.

Granted life today for some of us is much easier than it was say fifty to one hundred years ago. Attitudes are much better in some circles. In others, people have been left behind and crime and violence and little respect for human life is the norm.

Is there something or Someone that would really make a difference? You bet’cha. Well, really not bet. That is just a term I use. But if we sat down on the mountain side at Matthew 5 and listened to the voice that flowed down that mountainside, we would know that there is more to life that what we have here and now. Too many people have to see something to believe it is real when, actually, what we see is a very small part of what is.

When Jesus was on earth He spoke about gardening and likened it to the Kingdom of Heaven. Gardening is a most rewarding hobby or recreation. It is something that gives reward for hard work. Today, like everything else, man has made it so easy that the reward has to be just so to be even accepted. Five smaller tomatoes that do not look perfect are thrown out for one perfect large one. Interestingly the smaller one may have the better flavor, but, it is not big enough for that hamburger.

Even though everyone is trying to convince each other that man-made products will change lives, there is only one way to totally and eternally change lives. That is total surrender to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And, before you can surrender, you have to believe that He lives and can influence your life. The best place to find that is the Holy Bible.

Listening to Pastor Scott Davidson on Soul Winner Radio will help to guide you. And, if you go to http://www.SoulWinnerRadio.com and click on Pastor Scott Davidson, you can read about and listen to his teachings. God bless.

The second is to click on the donation button at the top of the page. Just give what you can, even if it is just a dollar. We can use it. Thanks so much and God bless.
