    Thankful

I know it is a few days before the actual thanksgiving celebration here in America. Like everything else, it has been secularized into an almost non-relative holiday full of turkey and football. But, for me it is a day of thanking God for all I have. Have you ever wondered why the secular world sees Christianity as boring and taking all the fun out everything? It’s simple, really. If satan can convince you that Christianity is too boring, then, he has successfully turned your back on the only lifestyle that will make you lastingly happy.

I am sooo thankful for all that I have use of. Everything is God’s, so, really He does not have to give me anything. Instead, He just keeps piling it on. The more I do for Him, He spares nothing to give to me. From abundance in food and clothing, to transportation, to a clean apartment, to a computer that does so much more than even computers used to, to abundant friends that are friends, not just people always wanting something, a job that keeps on spreading His word through me. I love that part.

Have you looked around lately? Even where I live looking out over two parking lots and a train trestle, with a hospital spreading out near the horizon of hills, I sill see God’s beauty in the small trees separating the parking lots and patches of green here and there, not to mention that without God to guide the minds and bodies of them that built the parking lots and the buildings around and near them, they would not be there either, also, the engineers and maintenance for this building that houses my apartment.

Then, there is the city. Full of buildings and sidewalks and streets all that had to be built on the gifts God gave others. I know there are personalities that leave something to be desired. But without God none of this would exist. All those going to and from work. The cars they use, the buses they use, all forms of transportation. All designed by the gifts God allows. So much to be thankful for.

The price of gas fallen just in time for us to be thankful. How many of us will be? Or, will we just grumble because we know it is going back up? Are you praying that it will not. You know God said, “Ask and it shall be given you.” Of course, you have to believe and repent first, but, I’m sure you know that by now. If not,

Acts 2:38  Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 17:30  The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent,

As you know, sin separates from God and He cannot hear our prayers. There was a time when He excused some of us and listened anyway. But no more. God expects us to repent because He paid the ultimate price on the cross, so there is no excuse not to repent now. So, if you want your prayers heard, repent. And thank God that He gave us this path back to Him. God bless.

Thank all of you for listening to Soul Winner Radio. We are so thankful for you and are bringing you the best in Christian programming. http://www.melcena.com/swr

It All Goes Through Jesus Christ

Although everyone is amazed at my abilities online, all without formal training, I still find new things everyday. One thing is emails. If you want, and you are using a program that lets you, you can cover up your account name with aliases. Now, all of these aliases go through the main name.

In a way this is how we should be. We are all aliases for Jesus Christ, if we love, trust and obey Him. So we live in Him as He lives in us.

John 14:6  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

God only recognizes His Son. So, we must become part of His Son to be able to communicate with Him. I know, for those who are not part of His Kingdom think He is so selfish and cold. Not recognizing us as individuals. But, His Son does. And, through His Son, He, too, can recognize us and do what we need to continue to serve Him. That is why we get the love of a Father. Because we are treated as His Son through His son.

2 Corinthians 11:31  The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, he who is blessed forevermore, knows that I don't lie.

John 16:27  for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God.

John 17:11  I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

John 17:21  that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

What we say and do should represent the Son who gave His Life for us. We must realize that we are His aliases. And what we do shows others whether or not we truly believe. God bless all of you.

    Eyes in Front

Leviticus 19:18  You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

Zechariah 8:17  and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate," says Yahweh.

Matthew 5:43  "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.'

Matthew 5:44  But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

Matthew 19:19  'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Luke 10:27  He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."

Did you ever wonder why your eyes look out, instead in to you? Well, it is easier to see where you are going. You can see what is around you. You can see others instead of always looking at yourself. Of course we have found ways to look at ourselves, such as mirrors. Actually, we only see a reflection of ourselves. The only ones that truly see us are God and others. So what we think of ourselves maybe totally different in other’s eyes. And much deeper than we could ever imagine to God. God is never going to be rude to us or tear us apart and tell us all that is wrong. Instead, He will gently lead us away from those things that are silently eating away at our attitudes about ourselves and others. We really have to listen carefully to hear that still small voice. When we yield, we let Him gently turn and straighten our ways. Then, when we look in that mirror, we will see His smile through us. All those stress lines disappear and we see a happy person with eyes in the front.

Keep listening to Soul Winners Radio,  http://www.melcena.com./swr for exciting new Christmas songs with true Christian themes coming very soon. God bless.

    Today

Today it is cold. It is cloud covered. What birds that can be seen are not singing, instead they are shivering and ruffling up their feathers for more insulation. Those who have heat, it is dry and so is skin. When the medication runs out, it is either put on layer after layer and go to the drug store. Or order and have it delivered. Any where you go, you have to spend the time to bundle up.

There is no more sitting outside. No more going to the park. No more getting anywhere without bundling up. And if we are caught in the economic crunch, no more deliveries of pizza and Chinese. We are going to have to learn to make our own food. Learn whether it is less expensive to buy a roast and slice it for sandwiches or buy already sliced sandwich meat. Maybe even, God forbid, go back to the days of our mothers or grandmothers when they had to go to the store and decide what was less expensive to feed the most. We may not be able to decide which is most healthy, just less expensive.

It is so glum. Is there no joy? Well, for most of us online, unless you are reading this from the library and are homeless, we have a place to stay warm, even if we do miss some of the things we could do just last month, or, maybe even last week. And, most of us have enough to eat, even if it is not exactly what we may crave at this time. There are ways of getting the tastes we grave without the exact food. For these things we can be thankful. Most of us can sleep most of the night or day, depending on schedule, in warmth. For these things we can be thankful. Most of us have water which many in the world do not. For these things we can be thankful. When we are thankful, God adds to our happiness. Sometimes we do not see it until we look back, but He is always there and is simply wanting for us to get past us and seek Him.

Sometimes we get so fanatical about His Word and thinking that it is for everyone but us because we already know it. Hey! We’ve been studying all of our lives so we are experts, right? Every time I open the Bible I find something I did not know before, even though I have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelations three times. Still it continues to open new lessons for me. But, I try to never push the Biblical requirements for my life on someone else’s life. No matter how close they may be, or how much they may be fooling themselves, the road the Lord has given me is my road and may not be someone else’s.

Christian families I have observed stay together because both parties have their main focus on Jesus and what He wants them to do to further His Kingdom. Service begins at home where there are responsibilities.

    Titus 2:3  and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

Titus 2:4  that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

Sometimes we have a problem with loving husbands and children. It is not realistic to say we can be unjudgemental. However, we can try and help each to get past whatever the problem by forgiveness.

Titus 2:5  to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God's word may not be blasphemed.

When a woman who has worked all of her life gets married and is expected to keep the home suddenly. It is a hard transition. And if there are children involved, it is hard to share affection with a new husband/father. It is harder even for the children, who have to stretch their affection between two parents, when it used to be only one. Not to mention that one parent sharing affection that used to be only for the children, now to a spouse as well. This can cause much stress. Prayer is much needed. The Lord is willing to help when we go to Him and just lay it out. Then, wait for the answer. Don’t jump in and try to solve it yourself. When you do that… Then, it is your responsibility. Also, no holding grudges. If you continue to bring up the problems they will be replanted and continue to grow. Let them go and let the healing begin.

It is under situations like above when we really get to know the Lord as a living entity. This is when we make the choice to give it to Him, or to continue to take care of everything ourselves and letting Him be a “gift hander”. In other words, we take control of the situation then ask Him to bless our decisions. It’s up to us whether we worship a living Lord. Or a “magic charm”.

    PANIC!

Today I am hearing so much about “the end times”. How this is going to happen, or that is going to happen. This will happen at this time. No, it will really happen at another.

Well, I just want to concentrate on that which will save me…Jesus Christ.

John 14:6  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

It is so easy to get so involved as to what is going to happen, we forget to live for that which is here and now. Here and now we need to concentrate on the One that can get us beyond what is going to happen and rests us in what is, and what will happen in Him.

Psalms 37:7  Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.

If we really do love, trust and obey Him, who do we have to fear? No one can do anything that will be so bad that God will leave us or forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5  Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."

Sometimes it is hard to be satisfied with what you have. Some live with constant pain, but have plenty to eat and a warm shelter in the winter, and cool place in the summer, then there are those who do not have shelter but are in good health. Then there are those who have no transportation, but have a computer or delivery service and those will to take them to church or places needed. Then there are those with transportation but with no money for gas.

In other words, when you become content with those things you do have and you thank the Lord for them, whatever they are, and you yield to His Will for your life, boy! Are you in for a change! For God opens His Storehouse and give you everything you need with provision to receive anything you need to do whatever it is He leads you to do. You may not have the same as the guy down the street, but your deeds and life for God is not the same as his, so you do not need what he has and he does not need what you have.

Acts 24:3  we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.

If we accept all things with thankfulness, the Lord almost cannot wait to supply us with all we need. The secret is to be completely focused on Him. Not on what we may, or may not have, but what we can do for Him.

I came across this information when I was cleaning off my computer desk. This is another of the loving messages of Pastor Jim DeJonghe. Today, I hear from many that illness and trauma has invaded their lives. Yet, they feel that they are Christians and this should not be happening to them. It is true that a lot of this could be avoided. There is a lot of misinformation as to physical, and spiritual pain. It is scientific that when the spiritual person is at peace, physical pain is drastically reduced. But, let us understand that spiritual can be worldly spiritual or Godly spiritual. Both can have an affect on physical experience.

For those of us who choose to be Godly spiritual through Jesus Christ, God’s Word or the Holy Bible will heal your life, hurts, and needs. His word heals because it is truth.

Psalms 107:20  He sends his word, and heals them, And delivers them from their graves.

Psalms 107:13  Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, And he saved them out of their distresses.

    Your burdens are curable. BUT…

    -         only God can heal completely

    -         only you can choose to accept

    And Jeremiah’s people listened everyone…

    EXCEPT GOD!

    Jeremiah 8

Jeremiah 8:4  Moreover you shall tell them, Thus says Yahweh: Shall men fall, and not rise up again? Shall one turn away, and not return?

Jeremiah 8:7  Yes, the stork in the sky knows her appointed times; and the turtledove and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people don't know Yahweh's law.

Jeremiah 8:8  How do you say, We are wise, and the law of Yahweh is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.

Jeremiah 8:9  The wise men are disappointed, they are dismayed and taken: behold, they have rejected the word of Yahweh; and what manner of wisdom is in them?

    Do you remember what

    Jesus was doing in Galilee?

    -teaching –preaching –and = ~HEALING ~

Matthew 8:1  When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

Matthew 8:2  Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."

Matthew 8:3  Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Matthew 8:4  Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Matthew 4:23  Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

The three main aspects of Jesus ministry:

    1. Teaching
    2. Preaching
    3. Healing

We should know that his teaching shows His concern for understanding; His preaching shows His concern for commitment; His healing shows His concern for our complete wholeness. His healing was proof that He truly was from God, proving the truth of all He did!

If ~ you are going to be healed, IF you are ever going to be “whole”

YOU ~ must have the word of God!

WE ~ are deceived if we believe any thing that is contrary to the word of God, or something that contradicts the Bible

(why would I believe man over God?)

    HEALING BEGINS :::::::::::::::

;  By doing what God says to do

:  No matter how you feel

:  No matter what you think

                = this is ‘faith’!

“…without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

One of God’s names: Jehova-rapha = The God who heals!

“Heal me, O Lord, Nad I will be healed, save me, and I will be healed.” Jeremiah 17:14

Jeremiah asked if there was a “balm in Gilead”, and if there was a physician there…WHY?

    >>>HE WANTED HIS PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT GOD, ONLY GOD, COULD SATISFY ALL THEIR NEEDS, HEAL ALL OF THEIR WOUNDS, AND PROVIDE ALL THEY NEEDED FOR LIFE AND >>>GODLINESS<<<

Ø      Jeremiah lesion = ‘his’ people had committed two great evils:

    1)      – They had forsaken God, the fountain of living water

    2)      -  The had “broken cisterns” which could not hold water

    (Jeremiah 2)

Ø      In other words, they had turned from God and His ways, to ways of the flesh and did not draw “living water” = essential for life!

    PICTURE THIS:

“and all the multitude were seeking to touch Him, for healing power was all the while going forth from Him, and healing them, saving them from severe illness and calamity.” Luke 6:19

THIS WAS WHAT WAS GOING ON…

…as Jesus’ healing power became known, crowds gathered, often just to touch Him. For many people, Jesus had become almost like a lucky charm, or like a magician; that group was not seeking Jesus for mercy, for direction, for love – they only wanted physical healing, or to see something drastic. Some of us may still se God in ways like that, EVEN SOMETIMES IN OUR PRAYERS! Are you praying to be under the ‘control’ of the Master, or are you hoping to control?

    • NOT LISTENING?

The source of many of our problems?  NOT  listening to God, not listening so as to obey & believe!

~ Read Jeremiah 6 ( and 7, and 8!) = see the phrase: “yet they did not listen to me…” ?

IF – you do not listen to the Word, love the Word, apply the Word, know the Word with your heart & your mind, you will retain hurts, hurting others who will hurt others, and healing will be impossible!

BUT – if you will do what His Word says, you CAN be healed!

Pain will not just disappear, and the past might rear it’s ugly head, but you will be equipped to deal with this in such a way that you will “live as more than a conqueror” ! You WILL HAVE GOD’S ANSWER ON HOW TO DEAL WITH ANY HURTS SO THAT YOU ARE NOT HARMED ANY FURTHER, AND THESE THINGS WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD!!!

    • GOD ~ can save you from yourself
      • His Word is truth.
      • His Word is truly alive.
      • His Word has practical answer

    IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BLOOD

It’s not cathedrals, it’s not steeples, it’s not crosses made of gold; it’s not just sentimental stories that have been passed down from old. It’s not religion or tradition, that can save the souls of man; it took the sinless blood of the holy man.

It’s all about the blood, all about Calvary; all about mercy flowing down, that old rugged tree, it’s all about praise, all about sacrifice: redeeming blood – it’s all about the blood of Jesus Christ!

There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains; lose all there guilty stains.

It’s all about the blood, from Mount Calvary; and mercy flowing down, that old rugged tree, it’s all about praise, all about sacrifice; redeeming blood, the Saviors blood, that washed me white as snow, it’s all about the blood, the blood of Jesus Christ – JESUS CHRIST !

    What’s Happening to the Earth?

It seems that the ice in the Arctic is melting. The ice in the Antarctic is melting. Water aquifers are drying up. Weather is changing. The earth is getting warmer. There are earthquakes and hurricanes and other weather upheavals. There are eruptions everywhere in places where they have never been.

Can we solve this? We are not, as Shakespeare said, the gods. It is great press to fool ourselves into believing that we can solve all the world’s problems. After all, we did eat the fruit of knowledge. But we forget it is just knowledge of good and evil. Not the knowledge of the One that created this world.

Isaiah 40:28  Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

There is no way we will be able to know how to repair a world we did not make in the first place. Oh, I know that is just what man wants to do. Show God he can repair the world. Oh, yes, we will be partners with God. Just let us show Him that we can repair what He is either unwilling or unable to repair.

Oh, let us follow those who have all the answers. We will.

Romans 1:25  who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

It is so easy for our pride to tell us that we can fix what we never first created. Why? Because we are blaming ourselves for the falling away of the earth. Was it not planned from the beginning?

Revelation 21:1  I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.

Just a note: The sea in the above passage is the watery veil under the heaven so that anything under it cannot see heaven. When the new earth is created that veil will no longer exist.

God knew from the beginning how we would be. Therefore He knew the earth would be deplenished by our greed. He knew that we would use up all our resources. So, He has made provisions to redo everything after we learn who He really is and we choose to follow His plan from the beginning. Only those who read, (listen), believe, repent, are baptized by the Holy Spirit and receive Him in their hearts will be able to enjoy the new heaven and new earth.

The temptation is to rush money to try and save the world, instead of using it to save those who live in the world. The world will be renewed, but if you are not renewed by receiving Jesus, you will not see the fresh, new world.

    Are you Really Being Blessed?

So many of my friends seem to think that once they recognize Christ and His sacrifice, it is now up to them to go back and take control of their lives again. Using Christ to bless their efforts. Using others, as they use Christ, to continue their control of their lives. Never understanding that the stumbles and falls could be avoided if they would put it in His hands and let Him come in their hearts and have a relationship with them that would produce love and caring for them as well as those around them.

Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

When we let Him in and give Him control, the blessings keep coming. Anything we ask can be ours.

John 14:14  If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Now, remember, He must be able to HEAR His name and that is because He is in you and you in Him.

1 John 5:14  This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

2 Thessalonians 1:12  that the name of our Lord Jesus  may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

So, if you do not feel blessed and there seems to be bad things happening to you all the time no matter how hard you pray, it may be because you are not reaching an ear because the ear is not in you. How often we get so attracted to the world around us that we feel that God no longer listens. It may not be that He is not listening. It may be He cannot hear because our “prayer line” is not set up and His Son is not close enough to hear us and intercede.

A History of Thanksgiving is now playing on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Soul Winner Radio. http://www.melcena.com/swr. God bless and may you have a very blessed holiday.

Heroes are imaginary – Jesus is real

Acts 1:1-9  The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after he through the Holy Spirit had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, you have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power. But you shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

OK. So you find this hard to believe.

Is it harder to believe that Jesus was raised from the dead than it is to believe that an Egyptian Pharaoh was locked into a pyramid necklace worn by a child whose parents allow him to travel over the world and in other worlds with just a couple of friends battling monsters in a card game that turns into a magical battle field with monsters fighting each other to save the player from death in this world and to be locked up in another world? Yet, this is what we let our children believe when they become absorbed in YUGIO.

Is it harder to believe that three turtles were changed into people/turtles when then encountered something nuclear and are now students of a ninja rat? Yet, this is what our children see every Saturday morning.

But, this is make – believe...

How many believe that Jesus is make-believe, too. At Christmas do your children squirm at church with impatience so they can get back to the Christmas presents Santa Clause gave them?

Santa Clause was taken from a Catholic Saint that passed out unsigned cards around the time of the Christ mass. At this time people were very cruel to one another and were not interested in loving one another. He made cards pointing to the birth of Christ and sayings of encouragement. He never meant to become the focus of the season. But, because Jewish children and those of other religions and cultures did not celebrate the season, it was thought that developing the saint into a deliverer of presents would spread the celebration of the season across belief and cultural barriers.

But can they remember the baby in the manger’s name?

Unfortunately, the focus changed from the celebrating Christ to the celebrating a Saint that then became an elf and therefore occult. Today Christmas is a celebration of capitalism and success measured by spending. Nothing to do with a baby in a manger in Bethlehem.

If we take Santa out of Christmas, we are being cruel?

When I was growing up it was just dawning on the church the mistake that had been made making Santa Clause the focus of Christmas. Christianity has ebbed and flowed during history after Christ left the earth. At one point, to restore the Christmas season, an author wrote about an evil man that found himself through visits of ghosts. Again the occult. So, it is no big step to just write off Christ as part of the imaginary system. In other words, if one just turns from evil to good, or never is caught doing evil, then this is all that is needed to be part of the big good universe. Death just being a needed part, and if you live too long, you, in fact, stall the “circle of life”, and should be ashamed. After all, you can come back as a ghost. I have actually seen animated pictures with Santa Clause, Jesus, Rudolph the Rednosed Raindeer and the Easter Bunny all posed. People there is a difference between real and imaginary.

If we take Jesus out of Christmas, children soon forget.

Jesus is not as interesting to children as Santa Clause and all the little animated “cuties” that fill the imaginary Christmas Season. So, when even churches decorate and point children to an imaginary Christmas, Jesus, the One born on Christmas Day is pushed further and further into the background. Children are taught that the Christmas Season is the “get me” season. Get me this, get me that. Santa will get me this. While the only thing Jesus does is tell me to love my neighbor who took my bicycle because he did not have one, even though he did return it and did apologize. But he is still hard to love.

Why do we imagine better that believe the truth?

This is the rebellious attitude that got us in trouble way back.

God is not fast enough for us. He works behind the scene a lot and what we cannot see, we have a hard time believing. But, whose fault is that?

Genesis 3:24  So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

After God drove man out of the garden He became hidden from man. The only way man could communicate from then on was through prayer. There were visions and dreams but these were few and to only those who truly believed and drew close to God.

Man worships by nature but, wants to worship what he sees.

Man does not believe what he cannot see.

A lot of time man needs to see what he worships. So he made idols that had the personalities of what man imagined the god’s personality that the idol represented was. Today we still worship idols because we still want to worship what we see.

Once we understand what Jesus truly did for us, we no longer need to worship idols because we realize that He is right inside of us. It is not a pride thing because we are willing to worship and surrender to His will. Interestingly, when we totally surrender to Him, His will does become ours and there is a harmony reached that can no longer be completely dissolved.

Man fills with imagination what he cannot see.

Without the surrender, man fills the gaps of his belief with his imagination. There is NOTHING that is as deep and evil as man’s imagination. Man’s imagination is as deep as hell, itself. There is nothing that is evil that cannot be conceived by man’s imagination. So, when man dares to put the truth of Jesus Christ into the imagination something as evil as “the other side of the vampire is Jesus Christ”, as was indicated in a popular vampire book, can rear its ugly head.

Jesus Christ is real and living.

1 Peter 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Therefore, celebrating the birth of a living entity make more sense than celebrating imagined things. But, there are those who celebrate imagined things everyday. Maybe someday someone will be willing to celebrate the truth?

    Evil Speaking

    1Peter 3:10-11

10 For “Whoever desires to love life
    and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
    and his lips from speaking deceit;
    11 let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.

Christianity is about peace. I did not say religion was about peace. I said Christianity, or the following of Christ is about peace. Man finds anything he can, including religion, to keep unrest, wars, and distrust continuing in this world between everything including churches.

People, who think they are Christians, point to circumstances in their lives and the lives of others to cause controversy. They think they are doing good by warning others of their pitfalls, but not  considering what could have happened or what has happened in their or others lives when they look totally to Jesus. They just keep falling into the pitfalls and complaining, never understanding that wisdom and understanding comes from the guidance of the Holy Spirit and without listening to His Guidance, or ignoring it all together leaves them in the same position they were in before they accepted Christ as their savior. Accepting Christ is not the same as INVITING Him to come into your heart and live with you. THEN the Holy Spirit will enter in. And He and Jesus will sit down and have a real relationship with you.

Deceitful speech is that speech where, mostly without even knowing it, you are making Christianity sound so terrible, mostly by your own attitude as a representative of Christ, that no one around you wants anything to do with it. This is just the opposite of the Great Commission, and it is painful to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. After a while, They will both move out and you will probably not even notice, because you are so wrapped up in your own fears, preoccupation with fear, and reasons for why you don’t love them that you never saw them go. Leaving you thinking you still know them, when the truth is, you never knew them.

If you cannot understand why they would leave, think of how you would feel if you poured out all of your love on someone and they just ignored you or worse. After a while, would there not be a separation?

Keep listening to Soul Winners Radio. New programming coming up in November. http://www.melcena.com/swr
