Humorous happenings from life's moments...My earthly father suggested that I learn to laugh. My Heavenly Father showed me how! "A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance" (Proverbs 15:13, KJV).

KISS = Keep It Simple, Silly

    Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious... :-)

Back when I had nothing better to do with myself, I used to try and memorize that word by "simplifying it" with smaller phrases: super-cali-fragil-istic-ex-p-ali-do-cious.

The word popped into my head again recently... and at the same time, I thought of how often we complicate something as simple and straightforward as the Gospel message. God came in the flesh, Immanuel with us. He was given the Name of Jesus, Saviour, to save us from our sins. He was born of a virgin (yes, she had a sin nature, but He was sinless). He lived for us. He was crucified and died for us. He was resurrected and rose for us, that we might be resurrected and have eternal life by believing in His Name. All of this to show the Father's Glory. Simple--but profound and powerful! And more wonderful news: He's coming again! Hallelujah!!!

About Me: ONLY a few words?!!! Okay, I'm a 66 year old widow. I love my Savior and Lord Jesus and know that He loves me. I am thankful He redeemed me from a life of sin and hopelessness, and continues to draw me to Himself.
