    THE SHEPHERD AND THE LAMB

You are my Shepherd, I look to You for guidance,

through life’s twists and turns You lead me to abundance.

You bring us to rest on peaceful shores,

with Your grace and mercy and peace, forevermore.

But who is the Shepherd who leads and guides.

He will give His life for us, to protect and provide,

New life for all who would heed His call,

To come and be saved by the One who gave His all.

My precious Saviour who came to set me free.

You are the Lamb who was slain for me.

You were lead as a lamb to the slaughter,

Sent by the Father to save His son’s and daughter’s.

You shed Your precious blood on Calvary’s tree,

Sending forth a flood that cleanses me.

The blood You shed bought us back from sin,

    And cleanses us deep within.

My Precious Saviour, Shepherd, redeemer and friend.

You are the Shepherd of my soul to the end.

You are also the Lamb who was slain on Calvary,

To bring me home, blood bought, and free.

    UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

How wonderful the Fathers love for you and me.

How abundant if we would only see.

We are like the blind man Jesus healed.

His love and mercy to him were revealed.

So too for us, we are blind.

We see others needs and frailties but pay them no mind.

You gave us children so very special to You,

So that we might see love as unconditional too.

My son is one of Your very special children,

he cannot talk or play or walk or run.

But You have given him a very special heart,

he sees others as You do and loves with Your heart.

My Saviour so precious, You share Your love,

You have sent to him Your Spirit from above.

For I think he is here to open our eyes,

to show us Your love through his loving eyes.

For we are blind to Your love in our lives,

always wary of caring and inability to strive,

for that love You have given to my little boy,

So freely to him so that we may have the same joy.

Open our eyes to Your unconditional love,

help us to love others with the same love.

For though he can’t speak, he accepts and loves others,

And we all are Your children, sisters and brothers.

    Jeannine Faith

The picture is my son, he has various special needs and cannot take care of himself. He is my special little sweetheart and one of God's very special children. I hope you see the love of God everywhere you look.

    THE SHEPHERD OF MY SOUL

    Loving Saviour take my hand

Lead me through this valley of death called life

Be The Shepherd of my soul

Keep me and guide me I pray

Precious Saviour I long for Your comfort

I am so tired and need Your peace

Living in this life has worn me down

Please, my hand is reaching for Yours

Your loving touch to guide me

Will bring me to green pastures

And peaceful rest by quiet waters

You restore my soul to live for You

I thank You for giving me Your peace

For guiding me through life’s sorrows and pain

Your love for me is like manna for the soul

You are with me in these trials

All I ask now is to be with You

To let me be in Your Presence

I want nothing more than to kneel at Your feet

Giving You all my praise and worship

    Jeannine Faith

    A DAY AT A TIME

How do you handle everything life throws at you?

What can you do when you feel battered and worn?

When bad things constantly wear you down?

Take it a day at a time with God!

You are my rock and my refuge.

I run to You when sadness and pain come.

But how am I to survive each day’s pain?

Take it a day at a time with You!

My precious Saviour, You are there to take my hand.

You lead me through the storms of life.

You calmed the wind and wave on the sea.

How can I not take Your hand, a day at a time!

Demons and evil spirits were cast out by You.

Lepers and paralytics were healed by You.

People came and You did not turn them away.

I know I can come to You for help, a day at a time.

Lord, You are with me when bad news comes.

You are there to hold my hand when I feel others pain.

You hold me when I am in the depths of despair.

And take joy in my worship and praise and love for You.

My blessed Saviour who died for me.

Your love so great, I do not understand.

But You are in my heart, mind, and soul.

And You help me take things, a day at a time.

A day at a time, You hold me in Your hand.

You lead me through the valley to the mountaintop.

You calm the storms of my life.

You help me through, a day at a time.

    Jeannine Faith

With everything that has been going on lately, people keep asking me how I handle it. For the 3 days my son was in the hospital it's all I was asked, so this is my answer. I take things a day at a time with the help of my Heavenly Father, He is the one strong in the face of adversity, not I and I give Him all the praise for helping me and my loved ones. God Bless you all!!!

    SEASONS OF THE SOUL

Isn’t is strange, that our spiritual journeys

    start with death?

It is like fall, when the leaves

    and flowers die.

We find our loving Saviour dying on a tree,

    to pay for our sins.

His blood was shed for you and me,

stripped of life as the leaves of fall.

    Winter follows fall so closely

    there seems hardly any hesitation.

For the child who would be cleansed

from sin, it is the same.

Our sins are death, but His precious blood

    was shed for us;

Upon that tree and washes us

    white as snow.

    Spring follows the winter

and brings with it new life.

So it is for the sinner

    who comes to the cross.

    With their sins washed away

in the blood of our Saviour.

New life bursts forth with joy

    and blossoms like the earth.

    Summer follows the spring

and brings new works and fruits.

The fruits of the Spirit work to bring about

    the Kingdom of God.

To bring Good News to all,

prepare for the wedding feast of the Lamb.

Before this season comes to an end

all who are invited, go in to the feast.

All of these steps, seem to me,

to be reflected by the seasons of the year.

They lead to new life and salvation

    found in my precious Saviour.

    Who died on Calvary’s tree

with so much love for you and me.

The Word is out, come one and all,

journey through the seasons of the soul.

    Jeannine Faith

Was outside the other morning watching the snow falling and thinking that by the blood of Christ we are washed whiter than snow. And then started thinking about the seasons and Salvation and this is the result. Thanks for reading and God Bless!
