David and Amy Portrait

This is David and Amy, our courting couple.  This is the first portrait I've taken since officially going into business as Shekinah Photography.  I also took the girls' fall school pictures and some of David by himself just for fun.  I'll post those when I get them processed. 

I don't claim to or really want to be a portrait photographer and I mainly only do them for family and friends, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.  I haven't really posed many couples, other than our church directory pictures I did which were pretty straight forward and some other friends' maternity pictures.  I wanted a couple portrait, but  wanted to make sure the poses were appropriate to the place they are at in their relationship at this point. 

We had SO MUCH FUN on this shoot!  Of course, these two are clowns, so I'm not surprised.  They look pretty normal, here, though...but don't let that fool you.  That's the magic of a great photographer.  haha LOL  Really, they both bring out the best in each other! 

We shot at both Kathryn Albertson's Park and the Boise Depot. (the shot above was taken at the Depot)  There were SO MANY people at both locations!  Photographers and people in formals, and wedding attire everywhere!  Wow!  We never did get to shoot at one of the main places at which I wanted to shoot, but we did end up with some rather nice shots anyway.  It was chilly, but at least the wind wasn't blowing.  Beautiful fall weather.  The leaves aren't at their peak, yet, but Amy didn't want the fall colors behind her pictures anyway, since she's a spring!

Hey, David and Amy~Thanks for being such willing victims and for making the shoot so much fun!  We'll have to do it again sometime!
