Premier a Big Success!

So, I figured with the big build-up that I should blog about how the premier went.  It was a big success! We arrived early, of course, to set up the reception area and the food and drinks.  The viewing of the film itself was a hoot!  Too funny! I think it's safe to say that the audience thoroughly enjoyed the movie.  Afterwards, we had a great time of fellowship and autograph signing.  Above is a photo of both Amy (director) and Sarah (actress) at the reception.  We're so proud of our girls!  Sarah did a fantastic job of acting.  She played several roles in the movie, and she just keeps getting better! This was Amy's best film to date.  Bottom left is David, our media guy and Amy's favorite young man.  He set up the venue for the premier, and made sure the evening went along smoothly.  Thank you SO MUCH, David!  Thanks also to everyone who came to the premier and everyone who played any type of role in the creation of the film; from driving your actors and actresses out to Kuna and Boise, to helping with costumes, acting, and encouraging and supporting this project.  We couldn't have done it without you!  It was truly and team effort and it was so exciting to see the results of a year and a half of hard work.

Light and Shadows

I took this picture at Irish dance practice last Tuesday night.  The studio is under construction, and as a result there is no lighting yet...or bathrooms for that matter.  (okay there's a port-a-potty down at the end of the parking lot, but I've never considered those to be a viable option unless I'm in a desparate, emergency type of situation LOL)  Anyway, they set up some make-shift lighting and after dark, I couldn't resist the backlighting and shadows that it created.  Fun stuff!  For more Irish dance images go to www.shekinahphotography.com.

Narnia Premier Tomorrow Night!

Yeah! It's finally here! The Narnia Premier is Friday night. Yeah!!!!

Please pray for Amy, as she's a little nervous about it.

I know it will great fun! Can't go wrong with family and friends!
