Celebrate The Life of King Jesus...

"Now muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops; They have laid siege against us; With a rod they will smite the judge of Israel on the cheek. "But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity." Therefore He will give them up until the time When she who is in labor has borne a child. Then the remainder of His brethren Will return to the sons of Israel. And He will arise and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will remain, Because at that time He will be great to the ends of the earth. This One will be our peace." Micah 5: 1-5a Here is yet another witness in the old testament of the prophetic announcement of a Saviour, a coming Messiah. Allowing the word of the Lord to be spoken forth and birthed on this earth, within the kingdom here on earth... Look a little further in Micah and you will see how he waited with expectation for this Source of Salvation. "But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me. I will bear in indignation of the Lord Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me out to the light, And I will see His righteousness." Micah 7:7-9 How many of us approach our enemy with this method of battle? have we forgotten that His return will be swift and quick? Have we become so weary that we have allowed the power of His Death and Resurrection lay in the manger as an infant that has never grown into a man? Does the celebration of His birth include the victory over the enemy? Or just the miracle of His birth? We must take time to position ourself daily before the truth of expectating the second coming of One we call "Lord of lord's and King of kings" Remind your enemy today of the God you serve; He who fights your battles for you, He who you have willingly bond yourself to: Jesus Christ, the true Son of God. Do you pull out your baby pictures every year and have everyone sing "Happy Birthday " to it? Then why not this year we embrace who He is today to each one of us, and Celebrate the joy of the fullness of His life and how it blesses us... Happy Birtday, Lord Jesus...

    Prophetic Birth Announcement ...

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she shall call His name Immanuel. He will eat curds and honey at the time He knows enough to refuse evil and choose good, the land whose two kings you dread will be forsaken. Isaiah 7:10-16 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest upon His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. On the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and rightousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will establish this. Isaiah 9:6-7 Oh, how great is the Word of God! That which leaves the heart of God, travels through the submissive heart of man, and flows from his mouth. Here is the prophetic voice that spoke throughout time of a coming Saviour. It surely could be said that the people of this time, spoke daily of this promised Messiah, this Immanuel...Surely they watched for every sign to bring forth this Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father! Just as the Christians of today anxiously await His return. Is it not true that this is proof that God is of His Word? Do you await His return with much anticipation? Or have you found other interest to pass the time with? Is your oil lamp filled and ready, or have you forgotten to replace the oil? Come and prepare for the celebration of Life, prepare to receive your King!

Obey God vs. Man's Ideas or Thoughts...

"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly. But when he had considered this behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Now all of this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 'Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall call His name Immanuel." which translated means,"God is with us." And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus." Matthew 1:18-25 In this passage it must be noted that the angel appeared to Joseph in a dream; there was no questions to ask, just a word of confirmation, concerning the situation of Mary. Joseph being a man that truly loved Mary, seeking to do what was right, and protect her; yet with an edge of perplexity lacked in faith what Mary had said. Note that the angel says to fear not, then confirms that Mary is to be his wife (that is pretty direct), then confirmation of truth concerning the Child, Mary was carrying. Once again there is a wonderful example of a husband, loving his wife as Christ loves the church (with a sacrificial love), not to forget for a moment the importance of his obedience to what he was told to do; it is no wonder then that when Joseph is confronted in a dream later about fleeing that he obeys so quickly... Hummm, could the same be said about us, that we would be quick to obey, and slow to reason? Don't excuse this question with you not being Joseph; all of us have at one time or another been requested of by the Lord to obey with out question somehow, or somewhere... how willing are we to step out in faith, even when few if any agree. Think of the conversation Joseph's parents may have had with him concerning Mary. True, it is better to obey God then trust in man's ideas and thoughts...

"And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying: 'Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us an accomplished redemption for His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of David His servant- As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from old- Salvation from our enemies, And from the hand of all who hate us; To show mercy toward our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant, The oath which He swore to Abraham our father, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him who fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.' "And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High: For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways; To give to His people the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:67-79 Notice how the Holy Spirit moves Zacharais to declare the truth of God and to spark the memory of those listening to the goodness and mercy of our Lord; all this before he is allowed to speak forth the destiny of this (his) child (John the Baptist). "Hear ye, Hear Ye...." Let all make note of what is yet to be... This is a heavy word to have to live out, yet because it was birthed from the heart of God, the world would see it's fruitation. Have you stopped to ask the Lord what His heart has birthed for you? If you allow the Lord the time, you might be given a revelation that would make all the difference in your life. Be still and know that He is God, and that you have truly been destined for such a time as this! And if you are one of those who know, and have already received the revelation of your destiny; then re-claim it and walk in it with even more assurance of your position in Christ!

    Position of submission or Disbelief?

Upon considering the process of John the Baptist's entrance into this world, one must venture back to the beginning of the book of Luke; where it is stated that Zacharias when the angel Gabriel appeared before him that Zacharias became fearful and began to question and argued in disbelief, it is here that Zacharias was silenced and not allowed to speak until after the birth of His child. Is it no wonder that Elizabeth understood the importance of a submissive heart; one that would believe without fear, trust without questioning. It is not the question that was asked by Zacharias but the condition of the heart behind the question. Zacharias was brought into this posture of submission before the Lord so that he was prepared for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit; so to be used as God's mouth peace to prophecy... "Blessed be the Lord God Of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people. And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David His servant- As He spoke by tghe mouth of His holy prophets from of old- Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us; To show mercy toward oour fathers, and to remember His holy covenant, The oath which He swore to Abraham our father, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear. In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. And you, child will be called the prophet of the Most High; For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways; To give to His people the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins, Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us. To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:67-79 So it is that as these words spilled out of Zacharias mouth, and his heart may have ached, you maybe sure that his obedience was to be the spring board for his son's destiny to be put into action... What words have we spoken over others that have either blessed or cursed them; are there words that have been spoken over you that have become your destiny? Unless directed by the Holy Spirit keep your words limited, and speak blessings over others where you are directed... May we also grow in spirit as John the Baptist did...

The Spirit Leaps For Joy & A Soul Exalts The Lord

"When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And how has it happen to me that the mother of my Lord would come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.'" Luke 1:39-45 What an entrance is being presented here: a wonderful example of how there is a strong inter-relating of emotion between a mother and child, even within the womb. Notice how Elizabeth reacted to the filling of the Holy Spirit... It is said that she cried out with a loud voice... There was to be no containing or restraining the movement of the Holy Spirit; Elizabeth was announcing, declaring and decreeing the truth which had been revealed only by the Holy Spirit. Even to the point that she spoke forth what she felt at the moment the greeting entering her ears. Notice how Elizabeth spoke forth the fact that Mary believed in what was said to her, this was to be the faith of a young girl in action...Faith is the substance of things not yet seen. Mary Believed in what she had not yet seen... she did not attempt to wrap her mind around it,and make any sense of the hows and whys... she just accepted the assignment and watched the fruit of her faith come forth... Now, Mary speaks forth from her heart; spilling forth the truth of the God she so willing serves... As you read this consider if this is not how you see God the Father...Is it no wonder God gave this favor to Mary? "And Mary said: 'My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; For behold, from this time on all generations will count me blessed. For the Mighty One has done great things for me: And Holy is His name. And His mercy is upon generation after generation toward those who fear Him. He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart. He has brought down rulers from their thrones. And has exalted those who were humble. He has filled the hungry with good things; And sent away the rich empty-handed. He has given help to Israel His servant. In remembrance of His mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever.'" Luke 1:46-55

    Unless the Lord....

How great is my God! For there is none like Him; Jesus Christ the Son of God… Come and see how good the Lord is, come and taste the sweetness of the Lord… “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; For He gives to His beloved in his sleep. Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127 Cry out to the Lord, all ye people, for we must seek the very face of God. We must long for the true heart of God. We must look away from the desires of self, and draw close to the image of Christ. To embrace the garments of the Lord, hiding all of self within Him; crying out for the innocence that Adam and Eve had before the fall. To know what it is to walk with God in the Garden: the garden being the stillness of our soul. Allow the Son’s brightness to soak within our being; the worship and praise to penetrate us to our core. Breathe deeply the breath of the Holy Spirit, may the coolness of His presence manifest within the very exhale of our lives…. To have a true understanding of the precious gift of children; how this fruit of the womb is a reward? Is it not true that children tend to pull all focus upon them, and away from self? The responsibility that comes with these priceless joys is to educate and protect them; to raise them up, like arrows in the hand of a warrior, guiding and directing their steps… When one truly has a quiver full; it is not the number of children that count as it is the investment made in each one of them, teaching them to stand firm on the rock and loving their enemy in word and in deed.
