"The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war.
He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies."
           Isaiah 42:13

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers,

For there is no power but of God:

The powers that be are ordained of God.

    Whosoever therefore resisteth the power,

    resisteth the ordiance of God:

and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation"

    Romans 13:1-2

According to Joel Stein (Columnist for the Los Angeles Times)

'Heaven is totally overrated. It seems boring.

Clouds, listening to people play the harp.

It should be somewhere you can't wait to go, like a luxury hotel.

Maybe blue skies and soft music were enough to keep people in line in the 17th century,

but Heaven has to step it up a bit.

They're basically getting by because they only have to be better than Hell.'

There is a sad truth to what was said here by Joel; if one stops to consier that this is the same view of many of our Brethren in the faith. That they only have to be a step above Hell to be accept into Heaven.

According to the Word it takes more then being a step up....

    "I beseech you therefore, brethren,

    by the mercies of God,

that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,

    holy, acceptable unto God,

    which is you responsable service.

And be not conformed to this world:

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

    Romans 12: 1-2

What testimony do we as the Body of Christ do we project? The Spirit of the Living God or that of a Dead god....

    "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;

but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

    Romans 14: 17

Should we not live as though we can't wait to get to Heaven; after all it is more then clouds and harp music...

    Holy Spirit Control....

"...to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

submitting to one another in the fear of the God."

    Ephesians 5:2,21

Have you ever noticed how there are four results of being controlled by the Holy Spirit?

Take note: that He will anoint your speaking as well as your singing,

He will anoint your relationships and your perspective (submitting one to another, giving thanks for all things).

Bless the Lord, we should consider His Word more... What a blessing it is....

    Love is....

Love is far deeper then the skin,
it penetrates far deeper then the heart,
it out lives many a man's life.
    Love is embracing all that is about you;
    good, bad and indifferent.
    It is believing the best,
laughing the deepest, and praying the hardest.
Love is always being ready to forgiving,
to extend a hand to those who have hurt them,
and leading others to the way of the Lord.
    Love is self-less, gentle,
and always ready to put into action that which is within it's heart.

May you know that you are loved...

Do Not Be Deceived, Nor Deceive ....

"Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us,

an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness,

    let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints;

neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting,

which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man,

who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Let no one deceive you with empty words,

for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Therefore do not be partakers with them."

    Ephesians 5:1-7

If we were to truly be imitators of God, we would be slow to anger, and quick to forgive; we would be less about words spoken and more about action... We have so much to work on and understand in the way of being like Christ; a man of few words but great action. It was not what He said but what He did. What are you about? Do you justify your words and actions with the uncircumcised flesh of your heart, or are you quick to know that being silent and allowing the Lord to defend you is far more profitable?  Take no offense of the words of man, nor his actions toward you. Unless the Word of God does not penetrate your heart, the only conviction should be of the Holy Spirit. Allow not your heart to become a barren land, as you wander from place to place...Go back to your first love, and embrace what He has for you, no matter how hard or difficult it may be....We must remember, He sees the full picture, we don't...Trust Him, not your self!

Now is the time, to reach out and touch the world as Jesus did... in humility, mercy, meekness and forgiveness in truth....How will you touch the world today?
