QUESTIONS

I come O Lord with heavy heart

With burning questions in my head

I seek not answers from others Lord

But only from you instead

Will you keep me in your arms?

Hold me tightly in your grip

Or some day will you let me fall

And my hand from yours will slip

I thought you held me tightly Lord

So none could pluck me away

I thought that when you found me Lord

You wouldn’t lose me again some day

What kind of Shepherd are you Lord

To look after so many sheep

That you could even lose one of those

Who dwells within your keep?

Is this really you my Lord?

The One on whom I depend

To guide me through this life

Until my journey’s end

Please tell me Lord I beg of you

When you bought me at such cost

Will you sell me back to the Devil?

And my soul again be lost

I used to have such peace of mind

For I thought I could depend on you

Now I am not so sure Lord

If this is really true

Please tell me Lord your answers

But I think I really know

You will say to me; my child

I will never let you go

I was in another site where they were debating whether one could lose ones salvation. I penned this poem as to what I would have to ask Jesus if I thought I could be lost again. I don't think that for one moment but others in here might have a different view. You can let me know. God bless.
