    STUDIES IN HEBREWS

    CHAPTER NINE VS 16-28

God knows we all come to Him as lost unworthy sinners, however rattling off our sins without actually believing in the one to whom confession is made will not save anyone. Proof of unbelief is that one keeps coming back to ask for forgiveness like those under the Law. This shows that because they did not believe in their hearts in the eternally finished atonement of Christ. therefore, such persons were never made New Creatures, and continue to live and practice sin.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

To bring in the New Covenant for all eternity it was necessary for Jesus to die. In dying Jesus paid for all of our sins for all who believe in Him for all eternity.

Heb 9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

Heb 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

Heb 9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

Heb 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Heb 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

    Heb 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Christ’s atonement is complete and saves all who believe in Him forever. This does not mean once saved we are free to sin. What it means is that we are no longer our own and are commanded to put the will of God above our own as He has fully equipped every believer to live lives fitting to Him. Christians do not practice sin, but turn away from sin to God. God stands ready to both reward and to discipline every believer along with the body of Christ in its entirety. Those who reject the discipline of God are bastards not His children: Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

WARNING: No one who doubts the atonement of Jesus Christ should ever be allowed to take communion or to take it upon themselves to do so:

1Co 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep

    STUDIES IN HEBREWS

    CHAPTER EIGHT/ VS 3-13

    Salvation is:

UN-earnable by good works, or human righteousness: Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…

    Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

UN-buyable: It is the free gift of God; through faith in Jesus Christ; Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of ONE the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Act 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Salvation is: UN-repayable: such is the free gift of God, meaning:  a favour with which one receives without any merit of his own

    I.the gift of divine grace

II.the economy of divine grace, by which the pardon of sin and eternal salvation is appointed to sinners in consideration of the merits of Christ laid hold of by faith.

Salvation is Un-doable: Jhn 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Jhn 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Those who DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE TRUTH OR POWER OF GOD, (2Ti 3:5), preach FALSELY that a true believer can lose their salvation. they will never tell you Jesus forgave you of all your sins, and God will never remember them against you forever, washed you in His blood, baptized you into His death, and baptized you in the Holy Spirit making you a an entirely NEW CREATURE with new desires to love, obey, trust, and live in, for, and to Him.

They will never tell you that the New Covenant of Jesus Christ guarantees the true believer eternal security:

     Jer 31:34; Heb 8:12; Heb 10:17.

They won’t tell you that Jesus made you a New Creature 2Co 5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

They won’t tell anyone that: Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

They won’t tell you that Jesus gave you knowledge, power and authority over your old nature so that as you can live righteously and apply it over time, so that as you gain experience, you increase in strength and ability to put to death the deeds/lustss of the old nature: Eph 4: 21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

They won’t tell you that God commands and the Holy Spirit enables you to be spiritually violent against all forms of unrighteousness outside of and inside of your self so that you will be able to: Col 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

They won’t tell you that Jesus saves you forever He never leaves you alone in any battle, situation, circumstances or conditions because:  Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

UTTERMOST: all complete, perfect, completely, perfectly, utterly.

They won’t tell you that Jesus will never let any true believer fall away: Jde 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

They won’t tell you that the Judgement seat of Christ is for believers only who will never be judged for sins that Christ has forgiven them of forever: The Doctrine of Rewards: The Judgment Seat (Bema) of Christ

Judgment Seat of Christ - Rapture Ready

They won’t tell you that there is nothing passive about the Christian walk. Christians have power, authority and the wisdom of God to live a spiritually aggressive life in following Jesus Christ: Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

They won’t tell you that Jesus gave you power to rigorously, unmercifully stamp out, crush, put to death any lustful, or unholy desires that arise out of your old nature.

They won’t tell you that Jesus will make a way for you to escape any temptation:  1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

MAKE UP YOUR MINDS, WILL YOU BELIEVE Jesus who never lies ACCORDING TO HIS NEW COVENANT? I BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST FOREVER.

Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Some might say what about scriptures warning Christians  such as: Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How shall the sheep be kept safe without warning/teaching them of dangers, as well as how to be safe? Paul makes it clear that this is the sense of understanding the context of all of these warnings. This is affirmed by Paul’s clear declaration: Heb 10:39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

God watches over His church and disciplines every believer, directly, through the church over seers, and through the body general, with the regenerate man having a redeemed conscience who does not practice sins but repents and turns to God from sin, wants to live and please God. We are not our own, we have all been bought with a price so that we live according to the will of /God and not our own. God owns us and expects us to obey Him. He has every right to discipline us as well as to reward us, and He is always right in whatever He does.

Those who have come to understand the gospel message and then reject it never believed it in the first place. Jesus is the eternal Standard and Supreme example for living for all believers.  God gives warnings so that His people would absolutely know His boundaries which He commands never be crossed and instructs/empowers His children so that they will know what they are, and gave them power to walk within His boundaries and to exclude from their compant anyone who, wilfully chooses to violates them.

Those who do not believe will never tell you that: 1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1Jo 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1Jo 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Praise God the Father for His love, mercy and kindness who gave to us His only Son, God Jesus Christ Praise Jesus Christ God the Son, for His love, mercy and kindness who gave Himself for us to die on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose again so that we, all who believe in Him have the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Thanks be to God the Holy Spirit for His love, mercy and kindness, who teaches us all that we need to know our God and to do His will. We are not addressing three God’s but One God in Three Eternal Persons, who dwell in our spirits forever. For this reason, no Christian is ever alone, our God is always with us and in us.

We are commanded by God to apply what we learn from Him in our lives rigorously, daily, publically, and privately. Keep in mind that God made Jesus the Head of the Church and we are all to follow His teachings. Jesus is equal with God:  Jhn 5:18; Phl 2:6. Although He sits bodily at the right hand of God the Father, He is equal with God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. They are three individual eternal utterly  holy persons bound indivisible as One God eternally Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. The trinity indwells all believers and are never separate from one another. No one can control the Trinity in any manner whatsoever.  The Trinity is in control at all times.  The walk of the Christian is to love, trust, obey as the Lord leads according to His word, and to love one another and all men. However the church never loves the sin and evil acts that men do.

God has given us such a wonderful teacher in Paul. He is the superb model of an excellent teacher. He is like a father to these Hebrew believers, as well as an elder brother among them. He did not fail to treat the gentile believers in like manner. He understood the danger of sloth/neglect of the whole gospel message. We know that Jesus will judge the world regarding whether one has a relationship with Him or not. What we believe about this man Jesus Christ, who never ceased to be God will determine where people will spend eternity.

Those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity with Him in the kingdom of God. Those who refuse to believe in Him will spend an eternity in the lake of fire and brimestone in everlasting punishment and eternal separation from the kingdom of God in its entirety.

However, it clear that although these Hebrew believers had been slothful, Paul clearly informs that he did not consider them to have fallen away. Paul’s goal is to help them move forward to maturity by receiving the whole gospel message and to continue in it no longer neglectful of it.

Paul takes us into the very heart of the Man God Jesus Christ. We too must lay hold on Him, for in understanding who Jesus is we understand who we are in Him and in relationship to Him. Here again we keep finding comparison and contrast between the Aaronic ministry and the Melchisedecian ministry, God the Father always pointing out the better is always in God His Son Jesus Christ. God commands that we do the same. Neither any church nor ministry will grow separated from true faith in the final finished atonement of Jesus Christ. I do not care how big or small that local church body might be, it is impossible to grow spiritually without living the word of God/instructing members to learn it and walk in it.

Heb 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Jesus who is fully man without ever ceasing to be God is the perfect All-Powerful High Priest/Saviour/Mediator/ who gave Himself as the perfect  High Priest in His perfect sacrifice for all the sins of whosoever will believe in Him. His sacrifice is so perfect that there is no need for further sacrifices for the sins of all who believe in Him. Therefore, what this priest Jesus Christ offered is superior to anything that was ever offered through the ministry of mere men of the Aaronic priesthood.

All throughout the book of Hebrews and elsewhere God the Father focuses all relentlessly upon the superiority of God the Son above all as the sole Saviour of all who believe and obey Him.

Heb 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

Heb 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

These  priests on earth who are mere men of the Aaronic priesthood struggled to make sacrifices for the sins of the people and to offer gifts to appease God, in a tabernacle made after the blue print given to Moses by God in the likeness of the true tabernacle in heaven, as God had instructed. However this earthly tabernacle is a mere shadow, a weak facimile of the real tabernacle in heaven. All the law could promise was temporary forgiveness, where the priest sacrificed an animal and shed its blood as a substitute for the sinners, so the sinners did not have to die for their own sins. Jesus Christ if He were on on earth would never consent to participate in their shabby rituals which were just carnal without any ablility to permanently forgive sins. He could not ever be like those weak merely human priests.

Instead His ministry is in heaven where He dwells with all power and authority making intercession for His people, but will return at the appointed time to earth.  It is obvious that Jesus is God the Son who in His omnipotence, omniscient, and omnipresence indwells His people with God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit, and serves as the Head of the Church.

Many understand/believe in the body and blood of Jesus Christ, however, there are those who do not comprehend His blood, and see it as unnecessary and/or unimportant. Jesus Christ makes it abundantly clear of the absolute necessity of both His flesh and His blood in salvation.

Jhn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day

Jesus Christ is the heart of the gospel and the Head of the church. Without Jesus Christ, there is NO church, NO salvation, NO eternal life. Jesus Christ IS THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH, for He alone is ordained by God the Father to give it eternal life,  feed it, and sustain it for all eternity.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Lord Jesus through His one sacrifice of Himself and resurrection has the superior ministry having entered into heaven itself with His own sinless blood, bringing into effect the New Covenant being anointed by God the Father as its only All Powerful Saviour, Mediator and High Priest, with all authority. Unlike the weak merely human High Priest, Jesus never abandons His post nor His people, advocating for them before the throne of God the Father, indwelling/over-seeing His sheep the church on earth His eyes never closing in sleep nor blinking, shepherding them in the way they should go, ever protecting them from every foe human or demonic.

The sinless blood of Jesus Christ forever retains its power, efficiency, efficacy in obtaining complete atonement for all sins of all who believe in Him, because it is impossible for the sinless blood of Jesus to ever rot away or lose its power. This is why Jesus never has to keep offering His sinless blood to purge away sin. For all who have obtained forgiveness,  it is finished in His one time totally perfect offering of His body and blood for sins forever and ever, before the throne of God the Father in the Holy of Holiest of the true tabernacle in heaven.

    A New Covenant

    (Jer 31:31–34 )

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

The Law of Moses was imperfect, although we still find some Christians in error teaching that giving of tithes makes one righteous as a means to force the giving of tithes and offerings that was of the Law to suport the Levitical ministry. However, God found the Law imperfect/fatally flawed, so He brought about a second covenant. God has abolished the Law of Moses for people to be made righteous. Absolutely nothing in the Law  could make Israel righteous. Therefore, absolutely nothing in the Law will ever make anyone else righteous in the sight of God either.

NEW TESTAMENT GIVING: under grace not Law; Christians can feel free to voluntarily support any biblical ministry of their choice, according to their ability. No one can command/force any Christian to give. All Christians are free to voluntarily give, in any amount of their choice in support of God’s work on earth. The apostles did however, caution/teach  against being stingy or withholding when any were able to give. Christians give unto God not to please men: NEW TESTAMENT GIVING: 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

The Christian has no obligation to burden themselves in giving beyond what they are willing and able to give:  2Co 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

In the above verses, right in our faces God frankly declares why He found fault with that Old Covenant. Firstly it was written in stone and the people outright refused to obey it. God disregarded the Jews, since they refused to obey the Law, although they had seen His mighty power boldly displayed in Egypt when He rescued them from what was the world’s greatest military power on earth in its day. Nope, it was clear, God decided a second better and New Covenant totally different from the first was absolutely necessary.

The Law of Moses had been written on tablets of stone, this did not work too well. It dealt with commanding/ compelling people out of fear of death, curse, and punishment, to follow certain strict rules of conduct or behavior, although inwardly they did not agree or think it right. The priests sinned just as much as the people did, and often neglected to teach the people the Law, so there were times the people broke the Law ignorantly for this reason.

The Law was ineffective in its sacrifice and offering of animal body and blood, which rotted away after being shed, lasting only a day, therefore, losing its effectiveness in its atonement. For this reason it had to be redone year after year.

The Law was also flawed in its dependence on a sinful merely human weak high priest alone, who had to first offer for his own sins before he could offer for the sins of the people. Worse yet, if the high priest did not make a perfect atonement in observing all the steps involving it, he would be killed by God, which meant the whole nation of Israel would be destroyed there being no further means of atonement to satisfy and appease the wrath of God against sin.

The high priest had a lot of work to do on the day of atonement. It was truly grueling, however he was forbidden by God to rest on pain of death: Exo 28:34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

Exo 28:35 And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.

One chance, once a year to atone for all sins, do it or die, that’s all Israel was allowed by God. So, its not surprising that all Israel was humbling themselves, quaking in fear, weeping and wailing on the day of atonement, because they never knew whether or not they would live or all die, until the atonement being made by the high priest was over.

Finally the Law never changed the sinful inner man and couldn’t stop the people and the priest from sinning despite its harsh punishment for sins.

This pattern on earth, high priest, perfect sacrifice of animal body, animal blood was just a shdow/substitute of mercy from God on earth until the real true heavenly tabernacle/ eternal atonement for obtaining eternal forgiveness on earth would be revealed later in Jesus Christ.

Understand, in both covenants high priest, sacrifice of body and blood was absolutely necessary together, and the only way that God allowed the forgiveness of sins:

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.” Leviticus 17:11

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

APOSTASY AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, THE HOLY GHOST WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN:

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

    See Gal 1:8-9.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

This second covenant would be one where God would come into the spirits of His people and write His word in their minds and engrave them in their hearts, the places where one truly understands on the deepest levels. In this way the  people would experience the knowledge of who God is within the deepest personal levels of intimacy and fellowship, joined with God in spirit, heart and mind.

Some think in error that no one can really know God, but the truth is that God, through the New Covenant has guaranteed through indwelling all who believe in Jesus Christ, AND MADE NEW CREATURES, that they can know God to the fullest extent of all that He desires for them to know of Him.

Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

While they would need to be taught the doctrine of God, all of His people would know His great love inwardly, personally, intimately, experencially deep in their spirits, hearts, and minds. There would no longer be a need for people to try and understand God for the deepest knowledge of Him would be revealed directly from Himself living deep inside of them spiritually. They would come to love and trust God, to obey Him outwardly from hearts of true faith, because of inwardly loving Him, trusting Him and desiring to please Him out of love for Him.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Instead of the curse, God would bring in eternal blessings of the Messiah through whom every repentant sinner would be eternally forgiven, and whose sinless perfect sacrifice of Himself for His people would so thoroughtly cleanse the repentant of all sins, that there would never be any need for God to remember any of their sins against them, the record of sins against them being forever abolished in the complete final, finished, perfect atonement of Jesus Christ the Son of God..

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Everyone who is a Christian are commanded by God to be fully convicted, convinced and persuaded that no one can ever please God or be made righteous by or through keeping the Law of Moses, but absolutely and only through faith in Lord Jesus Christ alone, according to His New Covenant.

Please study chapter 9 of Hebrews because we are going to look at the sinless blood of Jesus Christ, and what it is and what it means to whomsoever believes in Him.

SALVATION COMES ABOUT THROUGH FAITH IN THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER BECAUSE HIS SINLESS BODY AND HIS SINLESS BLOOD CAN NEVER BE SEPARATED.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

PLEASE READ HEBREWS THE CHAPTERS 9-10 because we are going into the very heart of salvation and ETERNAL FORGIVENESS/SECURITY vs those who FALSELY claim that the body and blood of Jesus does not guarantee eternal FORGIVENESS NOR ETERNAL SECURITY.

    STUDIES IN HEBREWS

    CHAPTER NINE

Heb 9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Heb 9:2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

     Heb 9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

     Heb 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

Heb 9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

In the above verses, the Bible takes us to look at as it were a relic of the past of the inner workings of the earthly tabernacle under the Law; some aspects regarding the mercy seat that nobody fully remembers anyomore.

Heb 9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

    Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

The whole truth is that this earthly tablernacle was just a carnal outward holiness, in which the Holy Ghost signified was just a stop gap measure until the real heavenly tabernacle in heaven would be manifested in time. All of the sacrifices and offerings in this eartly tabernable were ineffectual/temporary, and did nothing to wash away sins permanently, so the high priest along with the people always suffered from guilty consciences knowing there would have to be an atonement for all of their sins yearly.

    Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

The standard for the forgiveness of all sins forever is through faith in the sinless body and blood complete eternal atonement of Jesus Christ alone.

Jhn 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jhn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jhn 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Jhn 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

TO DRINK: figuratively, to receive into the soul what serves to refresh strengthen, nourish it unto life eternal.

Jhn 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

After a person is saved many times they are told in error that it is necessary to keep short accounts of their sins, just like Israel under the Mosaic Law by confessing their sins and asking God for forgiveness each and every time they sinned. Most point to 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When God says all He really means all without equivocating.

However this references the same confession as in: Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
