GOD'S WORD IS TRUTH (Rev. Joseph E. Mahabir)
The Glorious Appearing is a book on prophecy that points out unscriptural teaching of many authors and Bible teachers on the Second Coming of Jesus, the resurrection, the Rapture, the Tribulation (Daniel's prophecy, chapter 9), the Day of Judgment, the Day of the Lord, Israel and the Church, "the chosen people", the Sabbath, Ezekiel's temple, the lights of Isaiah (chapter 30), the Millennium, the end of this present heaven and earth and the commencement of eternity.

    EXPOSING UNSCRIPTURAL TEACHING

THE ANTICHRIST, THE SAINTS AND THE NOAHIDE LAWS

Here is the background to the Noahide Laws.

Chabad-Lubavitch is an organization. But it is more than that. It is a philosophy and a movement. It is considered to be the most dynamic force in Jewish life today.

The Chabad-Lubavitch organization had its beginning 250 years ago. It is a branch of Hasidism. It was formed in Russia. It swept through Russia and spread to other countries. The movement now has centres all over the world, numbering approximately three thousand five hundred.

The Chabad-Lubavitch movement is attempting to enforce the Noahide Laws on all Gentiles, that is, non-Jews.The movement claims that Jews are to fulfill the 613 mitzvot that rabbis find in the Torah, while Gentiles, if they are to be righteous, must follow the 7 Laws that Jews claim were given to Adam, Noah and then to Moses and which were subsequently passed down through the ages until they were codified in the Babylonian Talmud.

    These Laws are:

    . DO NOT MURDER

    . DO NOT STEAL

. DO NOT WORSHIP FALSE GODS

. DO NOT BE SEXUALLY IMMORAL

. DO NOT EAT THE LIMB OF AN ANIMAL BEFORE IT IS KILLED, THAT IS, EATING MEAT WITH ITS LIFEBLOOD STILL IN IT

    . DO NOT CURSE GOD

. SET UP COURTS AND BRING OFFENDERS TO JUSTICE

Each of the first six laws are broken down into other laws.

A major country has already officially approved the Noahide Laws through a democratic process. To find out the name of the country and receive more information on the Noahide Laws, please “google” NOAHIDE LAWS.

Why should Christians be interested in the Noahide Laws? We should be interested because believers of this present generation could be exposed to the Noahide Laws.

Dispensational teachers (those who teach a pretribulation rapture) claim that believers will be raptured before the Antichrist is revealed. But dispensational teachers reject the authority of Scripture.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians advising them that the rapture will take place after the Antichrist is revealed.  Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction ( 2 Thess. 2: 1-3, NIV).

The apostle John, in the Book of Revelation, recorded concerning the Antichrist: He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. ... If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. ... This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful  to Jesus.

     (Revelation 13: 7, 10; 14: 12, NIV).

If you are alive when the Antichrist is revealed and he enforces the Noahide Laws, which he will most likely do since they are already in place, will you be faithful to Jesus? The Bible informs us about the Antichrist, He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time (Dan. 7:25, NIV).

You see those who formulated and proposed the Noahide Laws place their trust in monotheism, one God (singular). But born again believers place their confidence in Trinitarianism, one God, revealed in three persons, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit.

Faithfulness to Jesus could result in death. What about reading the Bible? What about witnessing? What about going to church? If you participate in the above activities and are caught, the death penalty will be the consequence.

Believer, be comforted by the words of Jesus: Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matt. 24: 9-14, NIV).

What will happen when Jesus is revealed? He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you (2 Thess. 1: 8-10, NIV).

Please consider what you believe!  Because if you die without receiving Jesus as you Savior and Lord, or if you are alive when he is revealed and you have not committed your life to him, both resurrected unbelievers and living unbelievers will be punished with everlasting destruction.

    SCRIPTURAL CONCLUSION

Dispensational teachers (pretribulationists) claim that the church will be raptured before the Antichrist is revealed. But the Scripture informs us that the church will be raptured after the Antichrist is revealed (2 Thess. 2:1-3). The Antichrist will make war against the saints (Rev. 13:7). He will try to change the set times and the laws (Dan. 7:25). It is possible that he will utilize the Noahide Laws which are already in place.

Dispensational teachers reject the authority of the word of God. Their teaching is unscriptural.

Many authors, denominations and Bible Colleges teach a millennial kingdom following the judgment at the Second Coming in which people will have children and carry out the routines of life in which we are engaged at the present time.

If all believers, dead and living, put on immortality at the appearing of Jesus, at the last day, at the last trumpet, at the end of the age (John 6: 39 – 40; 1 Cor. 15: 50-54; Luke 20: 34 – 36; Phil. 3: 20 – 21; 1 Thess. 4: 16 - 17) and all unbelievers are punished with everlasting destruction (2 Thess. 1: 6-10), from where will people come in natural (physical) bodies to go into a millennium and have children?

Some teach that after the Day of Judgment the earth will be desolate for a thousand years. But the Scripture teaches that this present heaven and earth will be burned up on the Day of Judgment and God will create a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3: 7-13).

The doctrine of a millennium after the judgment at the Second Coming is not supported by Scripture.
