The thoughts of a Christian dealing with the loss of a loved one.

    Mon, Jul 31st - 4:13PM

Watching the weather forecast I couldn't help but wonder about the heat pattern that seems to be covering the Earth.  I work outside and the sun seems to be beating righ through my shirt.  I keep saying "I don't know if I can take anymore of this heat!"  The storms that come from these heat waves are brutal.  I read Rev 16: 8 -9 The angel poured out the fourth bowl of God's wrath on the sun and the sun scorched people with fire.  I think that God is telling us that this is just a sample of what it will be like.  The U.S. and some parts of the world are reaching temperatures in the triple digits.  There is a great revival of people coming to the Lord!  Many evangelists and preachers are talking about the out pouring of the spirit and talking about Heaven more and more.  The time is short!  Read the poem that I wrote and I pray that if you are not a Christian that you will come to know the love of Jesus Christ and his redemption.  If you know Christ, I pray that this will make you excited about us being called home very soon!

    God bless you!

Where will you be when the trumpet sounds when the Lord says come away.

Will you be with the saints in the air or left standing on the ground.

Jesus said that he's coming again to take his children home to be with him forever more.

People are dying children are crying, is there no hope at all.

With the mark of the beast there will be havoc in the street but his kingdom will fall.

Where will you be on judgement day when the books are open wide.

Will you be at the masters right hand or standing on the other side.

Jesus said he's coming again to take his children home, to be with him forever more.

    What is taking place.

It has been about five weeks since my wife was taken to heaven.  I've had my ups and downs.  Every time I feel good about Gwen being better off with the Lord, being able to praise him (not having any more of the pain she had delt with on Earth) the other side tries to remind me that I didn't pray enough; that I should have done more; God wasn't good to me.  Then I realize what is happening and I get down on my knees and thank God, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me.  I had a short dream or vision, whatever you call it.  I saw my wife begin to glow and be lifted up to Heaven by Angels wings.  I praise God for that and I'm so happy for her.  To be out of the body is to be present with the Lord.  Yet I still miss and love her and wish I could put my arms around her and hold her.  Someday I will, whether I pass away or I am raptured!  My family and friends have been wonderful.  We are closer to the Lord than ever.  The verses that were shown to me in the chapter of Psalms 27: 13-14 have come true.  The Lord has been good to me and I thank him.  I've been listening to Dr. David Jeremiah's lecture on the topic "Evertyhing you always wanted to know about Heaven."  Its been very rewarding and it helps me to realize how wonderful Heaven will be, better then anything on Earth.

I want to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.  My friends, always be strong in the Lord and pray that the Holy Spirit will help and guide you.   Remember that Jesus Christ is Lord and may we all give glory to the Father.  I know that there will be rough times ahead.  I pray that God will give me the peace that passes all understanding.  I know that He will always be there because he is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.  I can't wait to look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace and when He takes me by my hand and leads me to the promised land what a glorious day that will be!!! As you pray for me and my family please know that we will be praying for you.  Someday we will meet in Heaven and talk it over in the by and by.   God bless you all.
