JOY!!! JOY!!!

1Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness; Thou hast set me at large when I was in distress: Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

 2 O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? How long will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah

 3 But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.

 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah

 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in Jehovah.

 6 Many there are that say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than they have when their grain and their new wine are increased.

What are the characteristics of the ungodly?

In verse 3 we see two things-

1.They love vanity

2. They seek out go looking for lies.

3.They dishonor God

What are the characteristics of the godly-

In verse 3 we see

1 They are set apart by God for God

2. They are heard by God

What do you get when God hears you ernest prayer

 1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.

 2 Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.

 3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.

 4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed as with the drought of summer. Selah

 5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.

What a great blessing to have the God of all creation listen and hear your plea for your sins to be forgiven

 Heberews 1:9 You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (^[e]Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.^(B)

^{If  you Choose to be Holy then you will be happy.}

^{That does not mean a life with God is a bed of roses Jesus said himself you would have troubles but he promised to be with and help you through.}

^{You have to admit living a disaplined life you have less road bunps. Even my 9 year old daughter know if she does the right thing and study for a spelling test you will not stress about being unprepared you still might miss a few a word or two but you did what ws right.}
