    GOD'S TEN MOST WANTED MEN

    1. The man who puts God's business above other business.

    2. The man who brings his children to church rather than sending them.

    3. The man who is willing to be the right example to every boy he meets.

    4. The man who thinks more of his Sunday School Class than he does of his Sunday sleep.

    5. The man who measures his giving by what he has left rather than by the amount he gives.

    6. The man who goes to church for Christ's sake, rather than for his own or someone else's.

    7. The man who has more passion to help others than he had to be helped himself.

    8. The man who can see his own faults before he sees the faults of others.

    9. The man who stands firm in his convictions, based upon the Word of God, that is a "backbone" Christian.

    10. The man who is more concerned about winning souls for Christ than he is about winning honor.

    Bible vs Cell Phone

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets
What if we turned back to go get it if we for got it
What if we flipped through it several times a day
What if we used it to receive messages from the text
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it
What if we gave it to kids as gifts
What if we used it as we traveled
What if we used it in case of an emergency
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version

I was thinking on my way home, got touched by the spirit, so I wrote this so you can hear it. Its just something to think about

Something to make you say hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, and where is my Bible?

    People's responces make a difference

I got an e-mail from AFA stating that the NEA has decided to make changes in the policy.

    June 27, 2006

Important NEA update: Your Efforts Made A Difference, NEA Changes Paragraph.

Because of the efforts by AFA Online supporters, the National Education Association was forced to drop their proposal to endorse homosexual marriage.

Within hours of AFA Online's alert, the NEA had removed the original proposal and replaced it with a new one. The original paragraph under section B-8 Diversity read as follows:

The Association believes that legal rights and responsibilities with regard to medical decisions, taxes, inheritance, adoption, legal immigration, domestic partnerships, and civil unions and/or marriage belong to all these diverse groups and individuals.
To see the resolution in full, click here (bottom of page in bold type).

Due to the response from AFA Online supporters, the NEA immediately changed that paragraph to read as follows:

The Association also believes that these factors should not affect the legal rights and obligations of the partners in a legally-recognized domestic partnership, civil union, or marriage in regard to matters involving the other partner, such as medical decisions, taxes, inheritance, adoption, and immigration.

CNS News has written an excellent news story concerning the situation. To read their report, click here. Without the response from AFA Online supporters, we feel the resolution with the original paragraph would have been overwhelmingly approved at their upcoming convention in Orlando.

While the NEA continues to deny their efforts were designed to approve homosexual marriage, it is clear that they were. In fact, the NEA affiliate in California has already done so. Click here to see the California statement

    This makes me so mad!

National Education Association Set to Endorse Homosexual Marriage

Teacher's union begins plans to promote homosexual marriage in public schools

The National Education Association is set to endorse homosexual marriage at their convention coming up in Orlando June 29 through July 6.

The new NEA proposal essentially says schools should support and actively promote homosexual marriage and other forms of marriage (two men and one woman, three women, two women and three men, etc.) in their local schools.

The new proposal, expected to pass overwhelmingly, is found under the B-8 Diversity paragraph:

The Association... believes in the importance of observances, programs and curricula that accurately portray and recognize the roles, contributions, cultures, and history of these diverse groups and individuals.

The Association believes that legal rights and responsibilities with regard to medical decisions, taxes, inheritance, adoption, legal immigration, domestic partnerships, and civil unions and/or marriage belong to all these diverse groups and individuals.

Translated, that means the NEA will promote homosexual marriage in every avenue they have available, including textbooks, to all children at all age levels and without the permission or knowledge of parents. Their plans will include every public school in America.

    Take Action

        * First, please forward this to all parents with children in public schools. They need to be aware of the plans the NEA has to indoctrinate their children with their pro-homosexual, homosexual marriage agenda.

Click here to send your email to your NEA state affiliate.

        * Please forward this to public school teachers you know so they can be aware of the NEA's plans. In fact, their membership dues will be used to help implement the new NEA plan.

AFA encourages teachers who do not approve of their dues going to the NEA to find an alternative teacher's group to help them retain their benefits. Teachers might want to give the CEAI home page a look http://www.ceai.org/index.htm or find another alternative in their state.

    I have to brag

I had a pleasant suprise this morning when I went over to the Outdoor Photographer magazine site. I had submitted a couple photos to the "favorite places" section of their site, and lo and behold there was my shot of devil's bridge!

Depends on Who's Hands You are in

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19.
A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.
A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands.
A tennis racket in Venus Williams' hands is a championship winning.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.

A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse.
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world.

As you see now it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams,
your families and your relationships in God's hands because...
It depends whose hands it's in.
