Why is the world so mean?..With so much hate?..I don't understand why?

Three Wooden Crosses ..On the right side of the highway ...

A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher,

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres,
The faith an' love for growin' things in his young son's heart.
An' that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children:
Did her best to give 'em all a better start.
An' that preacher whispered: "Can't you see the Promised Land?"
As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,

I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday.
As he held that blood-stained bible up,
For all of us to see.
He said: "Bless the farmer, and the teacher, an' the preacher;
Who gave this Bible to my mamma,
Who read it to me."

THE LOCUSTS ! ...

... The locusts resembled horses equipped for battle. On their heads was something like golden crowns . Their faces resembled the faces of people. 8) They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lions teeth. 9) Their breastplates (scales) resembled breastplates made of iron , and the [whirring] noise made by their wings was like the roar of a vast number of horse-drawn chariots going at full speed into battle. 10) They have tails like scorpions, and they have stings, and in their tails lies their ability to hurt men for [the] five months. 11) Over them as king they have the angel of the Abyss (of the bottomless pit). In Hebrew his name is Abaddon [destruction], but in Greek he is called Apollyon [destroyer]. 12) The first woe (calamity) has passed; behold two others are yet to follow. _Revelation 9:7-12 Amp. A few reasons why I Love Jesus ...

I love  Jesus  because He first loved me. _1 John 4:19

Whatever I ask for in Prayer and  having faith and believing,  I will receive.._Matthew 21:22 

He  didn't think  He  was better than everyone else. Even thou He  is!   Behold, your  King  is coming to you, lowly and riding on a donkey [a beast of burden]. _Matthew 21:5

 He  sent two disciples to get  Him a donkey. _Matthew 21:1-2  He didn't  tell them to go and get a big (huge) horse for Him.

  He is the good Shepherd. _John 10:14 

He is the light of the world. _John 8:12 

He is always the same , yesterday, today, [yes]  and forever (to the ages)  _Hebrews 13:8

The Lord is my Shepherd ...

THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed,  guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. 2) He  makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. 3) He refreshes and restores my life  (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing wih Him--not for my earning it,  but] for His name's  sake. 4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I wll fear or dread no evil , for  You  are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide]  , they comfort me.

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART My Child, you have no concept of the magnitude of eternity. How could you? Although I created you in My image, you are limited now by finite humanness,. But I have put My Spirit within you. I have placed in your heart the longing for eternity--another world, another place. That way, you won't be so tied to this existence that you forget what eternity is for. I am your Eternal God, and I'm preparing you to dwell with Me forever..

SIMPLE TRUTH Who would want to stay earthbound after a glimpse of eternity?

John the Baptist ......Repent before it's to late !...

THE  BEGINNING  [of the facts of the good news (the Gospel) of  Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 2) Just  as it is written in the prophet Isaiah; Behold, I send My messenger before  Your face,  who will make ready Your way. 3)  A voice of one crying in the wilderness [shouting in the desert],   Prepare the way  of the Lord, make His beaten tracks  straight (level and passable. 4) John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness (desert), preaching a baptism [ obligating]   repentance (a change of one's mind for the better, heartily amending  one's  ways, with abhorrence of his past sins) in order to obtain forgiveness of and release from sins. 5) And  there kept going out to him [continously] all the country of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, as they were confessing their  sins. 6) And John wore clothing woven of camel's hair and had a leather girdle around his loins  and ate locusts and wild honey. 7) And he preached, saying, After me comes He Who is stronger (more powerful and  more valiant) than I, the strap of Whose  sandals I am  not worthy or fit  to stoop down and unloose. 8) I have baptized you with water,   but  He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. 9) In those days Jesus came  from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. _Mark 1:1-9 Amp. Bible ...........When is the last time you saw anyone carring a sign that said Repent! ..Or a car with a big sign on it saying Repent! Before its to late! ...I used to see this alot in 1968.. I do not see this anymore...I wonder why ?
