    In   THE   BEGINNING...

IN THE beginning [before all time]  was the Word ( Christ), and  the Word  was with God,  and the Word was God Himself. 2) He  was present originally with God. 3) All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. 4) In Him  was life, and the life was  the Light of men. 5)And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or  absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it.  _John 1:1-5 Amp. FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND ... I have posted this before. And felt a need to post it again...

One night a man had a dream about walking along the beach with the Lord. The sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; his and the Lord's. After the last scene flashed before him he looked at the footprints, noticing that at the most difficult times in his life there was only one set of footprints. "Lord you said you'd walk with me all the way if I followed you. But during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. Why did you leave me when I needed you most?" The Lord replied, "I love you and would never leave you in your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, that was when I carried you. _Author Unknown

A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE WAS WRITTEN .......

Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His name. 17)And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peciliar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. 18) Then shall you return and dicern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him. _Malachi 3:16-18 Amp. "EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING" .......

And I brought him to Your disciples, and they were not able to cure him. 17) And Jesus answerd, O you unbelieving ( warped , wayward, rebelious) and thoroughly perverse generation! How long am I to remain with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to Me. 18) And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was cured instantly. 19)Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked privately. Why could we not drive it out? 20) He said to them. Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [ that is living] like a grain of mustard seed. you can say to this mountain. Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. 21) But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. _Matthew 17:16-21 Amp. Bible

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD ....

THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me]. I shall not lack. 2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. 3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake. 4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. 5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. 6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. _Psalm 23:1-6 Amp. THEN ALL THE TREES SAID TO THE BRAMBLE...

One time the trees went forth to anoint a king over them, and they said to the olive tree. Reign over us. 9) But the olive tree said to them, Should I leave my fatness, by which God and man are honored, and go to wave over the trees? 10) Then the trees said to the fig tree, You come and reign over us. 11) But the fig tree said to them. Should I leave my sweetness and my good fruit and go to wave over the trees? 12) Then the trees said to the vine (grapevine). You come and reign over us. 13) And the vine (grapevine) replied. Should I leave my new wine, which rejoices God and man, and go to wave over the trees? 14) Then all the trees said to the bramble. You come and reign over us. _Judges 9:8-14 Amp. Bible

AND WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR ???

And he, determined to acquit himself of reproach, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor? 30) Jesus, taking him up , replied, A certain man was going from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way. [ unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened. 31) Now by coincidence a certain priest was going down along that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32) A Levite likewise came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road]. 33) But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled along, came down to where he was; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity and sympathy [for him]. 34) And went to him and dressed his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine. Then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35) And the next day he took out two denarii [two day's wages] and gave [them] to the innkeeper, saying. Take care of him; and whatever more you spend. I [myself] will repay you when I return. 36) Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers? 37) He answered, The one who showed pity and mercy to him. And Jesus said to him, Go and do likewise. _Luke 10:29-37 Amp. Bible

OUT OF BODY / AT HOME WITH THE LORD ...

[Yes] we have confident and hopeful courage and are pleased rather to be away from home out of body and be at home with the Lord. 9) Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him. 10) For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing. _2 Corinthians 5:8-10 Amp. Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point  of view [in terms of natural standards  of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate  Christ  from a  human viewpoint and as  a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know  Him no longer  [in terms of the flesh].

It is the bridal car of Solomon./Song Of Solomon _continued......

Who or what is this [she asked] that comes out of the wilderness like stately pillars of smoke perfumed with myrrh, frankincense, and all the fragrant powders of the merchant? 7) [Someone answered] Behold, it is the traveling litter (the bridal car) of Solomon. Sixty mighty men are around it, of the mighty men of Israel. 8) They all handle the sword and are expert in war; every man has his sword upon his thigh, that fear be not excited in the night. 9) King Solomon made himself a car or a palanquin from the [cedar] wood of Lebanon. 10) He made its posts of silver, its back of gold, its seat of purple, the inside of it lovingly and intricately wrought in needlework by the daughters of Jerusalem. 11) Go forth, O you daughters of Zion, and gaze upon King Solomon wearing the crown with which his mother [Bathsheba] crowned him on the day of his wedding, on the day of his gladness of heart. _Song Of Solomon 3:6-11 Amp Bible... HOW FAIR you are, my love [he said], how very fair! Your eyes behind your veil [remind me] of those of a dove; your hair [makes me think of the black, wavy fleece] of a flock [the Arabian] goats which one sees trailing down Mount Gillead [beyond the Jordan on the frontiers of the desert]. 2)Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes which have come up from the washing, of which all are in pairs, and none is missing among them. 3) Your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your mouth is lovely. What good does that do ???

    Are you not discriminating ?

MY BRETHREN, pay no servile regard to people [show no  prejudice, no partiality]. Do not [attempt to] hold [and] practice the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ  [the Lord] of glory [ together with snobbery]! 2) For if  a person comes into your congregation whose hands are adorned with gold rings and who is wearing splendid apparel, and also a poor [man] in shabby clothes comes in. 3) And you pay special attention to the one who wears the splendid clothes and say to him. Sit  here in this preferable seat! while you tell the poor [man], Stand there! or, Sit there on the floor at my feet! 4) Are you not discriminating  among your  own and becoming critics and judges with wrong motives? 5) Listen, my beloved brethren: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and in their position as  believers and to inherit the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?   _James 2:1-5  ...What is the use (profit) my brethren, for  anyone to profess to have faith if he has no  [good] works [to show for it]? Can [such] faith save [his soul]?  15) If a brother or sister is  poorly clad and lacks food for each day. 16) And one of you says to him, Good-bye! Keep [yourself ]   warm and well fed, without giving  him the necessities for the body, what good does that do?  17) So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (Inoperative, dead). _James 2:14-17  Amp. By HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED ....

For [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender plant, and like root out of dry ground: He has no form or comeliness [royal, kingly pomp]. that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him. 3)He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any estem for Him. 4) Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5) But He was wounded for our trangressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities: the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. _Isaiah 53:2-5 Amp. And all [of them] ate the same spiritual (supernaturally given) food. 4) And they all drank the same spiritual (supernaturally given) drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them [produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ. 5) Nevertheless, God was not pleased with the great majority of them, for they were overthrown and strewn down along [the ground] in the wilderness. 6) Now these things are examples (warnings and admonitions) for us not to desire or crave or covet or lust after evil and carnal things as they did. _1 Corinthians 10:3-6 Amplified Bible

HIS GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR ME...

Three times I called upon the Lord and besought [Him] about this and begged that it might depart from me. 9) But He said to me, My grace (MY favor and loving- kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]: for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weakness and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!.10) So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses: for when I am weak [ in human strength], then am I [truly] strong(able, powerful in divine strength). 11) Now I have been [speaking like] a fool! But you forced me to it, for I ought to have been [ saved the necessity and] commended by you. For I have not fallen short one bit or proved myself at all inferior to those superlative [false] apostles [of yours], even if I am nothing (a nobody). _II Corinthians 12:8-11 Amp. Bible

    A Psalm of David...

THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me]. I shall not lack. 2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. 3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self): He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake. 4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me. Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. 5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming cup runs over. 6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. _Psalm 23:1-6 Amp Bible

YOU WILL BE SAVED IF YOU ...

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. _Romans 10:9 Amp. Bible...*I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life. _John 6:47 Amp. Bible...*And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [ give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping] and you will be saved, [and this applies both to] you and your household as well. _Acts 16:31 Amp. Bible
