What the World needs now is Love,,sweet Love ...
"What the world needs now is love, sweet love it's the only thing that there's just too little of. What the world needs now is love, sweet love no not just for some but for everyone. Lord, we don't need another mountain, there are mountains and hillsides enough to climb There are oceans and rivers enough to cross, 'till the end of time...Sung by Jackie DeShannon..Another favorite song of mine. To be continued...

ONE DAY AT A TIME , SWEET JESUS ...
I'm only human, I'm just a woman. Help me believe in what I could be And all that I am. Show me the stairway, I have to climb. Lord for my sake, teach me to take One day at a time. One day at a time sweet Jesus. That's all I'm asking from you. Just give me the strength To do everyday what I have to do. Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus And tomorrow may never be mine. Lord help me today, show me the way One day at a time. Do you remember, when you walked among men? Well Jesus you know if you're looking below It's worse now, than then. Cheating and stealing, violence and crime So for my sake, teach me to take One day at a time...(Marijohn Wilkins/Kris Kristofferson} Also recorded by many others. This is one of my favorite songs.

Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men.._ Luke 5:10, NASB
Christ...doesn't abandon self-confessed schlemiels. Quite the contrary, he enlists them...Contrary to what you may have been told, Jesus doesn't limit his recruiting to the stout-hearted. The beat up and worn out are prime prospects in his book, and he's been known to climb into boats, bars, and brothels to tell them, "It's not too late to start over." ..._Max Lucado

Now we can come fearlessly right into God's presence. ,_Ephesians 3:12, TLV ...
Christ meets you outside the throne room, takes you by the hand, and walks you into the presence of God. Upon entrance we find grace, not condemnation; mercy, not punishment...Because we are friends of God's Son, we have entrance to the throne room...This gift is not an occasional visit before God but rather a permanent "access by faith into this grace by which we now stand" (Rom. 5:2,NIV. _Max Lucado

All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]. 38) For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me. _John 6:37-38 Amp. the secret place of the Most High ...
HE Who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. 2) I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently ] trust! 3) For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. 4) [ Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. 5) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day. 6) Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. 7) A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand , but it shall not come near you. 8)Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked. 9) Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place. 10) There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. _Psalm 91:1-10 Amp. They were terrified ...
16) When evening came, His disciples went down to the sea. 17) And they took a boat and were going across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and still Jesus had not [yet] come back to them. 18) Meanwhile, the sea was getting rough and rising high because of a great and violent wind that was blowing. 19) {However] when they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat. And they were afraid (terrified). 20) But Jesus said to them, It is I; be not afraid! [I AM; stop being frightened! _John 6:16-20 Amp. Bible

What is proper way to do this commenting thing? Answer each one, one, by one. Or clump them together with one response? Like a non personal response? I prefer to answer each one individual. I'm not expecting any comments on this....

Are you overly occupied and too busy? To sit at the Lord's feet and l isten to Him?
38) Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village, and a woman named Martha received and welcomed Him into her home. 39) And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord's feet and was listening to His teaching. 40) But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving: and she came up to Him and said Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]! 41) But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42)There is need of only one or but 'a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her. _Luke 10:38-42 Amp. Bible

God on the Mountain ...
Life is easy when you're up on the mountain. And you've got peace of mind like you've never known. But then things change and you're down in the valley. Don't lose faith for you're never alone. For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley. When things go wrong, He'll make it right. And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times. The God of the day is still God in the night. You talk of faith when you're up on the mountain. Oh but the talk comes easy when life's at its best. But it's down in the valley of trials and temptation..That's when faith is really put to the test. For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley. When things go wrong, He'll make it right. And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times. The God of the day is still God in the night. For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley. When things go wrong, He'll make it right. And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times. The God of the day is still God in the night. The God of the day is still God in the night.._Song by Lynda Randle

Woman, where are your accusers ???
BUT JESUS went to the Mount of Olives. 2) Early in the morning (at dawn), He came back into the temple [ court], and the people came to Him in crowds. He sat down and was teaching them. 3) When the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They made her stand in the middle of the court and put the case before Him. 4) Teacher, they said. This woman has been caught in the very act of adultery. 5) Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such [women---offenders] shall be stoned to death. But what do You say [to do with her---what is Your sentence]? 6) This they said to try (test) Him, hoping they might find a charge on which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger. 7) However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her. 8) Then He bent down and went on writing on the ground with His finger. 9) They listened to Him, and then they began going out, conscience stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court. 10)When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her. Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? 11) She answered. No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more. 12) Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life. _John 8:1-12 Amp. Bible

Halloween Boolevard Ad~Just one of many!...
Skeleton~Vampire~Werewolf Costumes, Candy, Candy, Candy!!!..This is all from one of our local store ads!..What Does The Bible Say About ~ The Tradition Of Halloween? this is from Bible.Com..."Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes." Song of Solomon 2:15..Some may consider celebrating Halloween as only compromise, However, it is the "little foxes" that spoil the vines and this little compromise can open the door to other . Many Christians do not realize that certain traditions that are celebrated in the world have evil origins. Just because our society partakes in certain activities does not make them acceptable for Christians. We must look to Christ and His Word to see if the traditions of this are good or evil...Mark 7:13 "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered:...One very evil tradition is the celebration of Halloween, no Christian should partake in the activities of this holiday, nor should they allow their children to do so...Repeat post from 2005. The same thing is going on this year. ONLY WORSE!....

IS IT LOVE (or) A Noisy Gong (or) A Clanging Cymbal ??
IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal...7) Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. 8) Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpeting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away: as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease: as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth]... 11) When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child: now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. 13) And so faith, hope, love abide [faith--conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things: hope--joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation: love-- true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us]. these three: but the greatest of these is love. _1 Corinthians 13:: Amp. Bible

LAZARUS AND THE RICH MAN ...WHICH ONE ENDED UP IN HELL? & WHY?
There was a certain rich man who [habitually] clothed himself in purple and fine linen and reveled and feasted and made merry in splendor every day. 20) And at his gate there was [carelessly] dropped down and left a certain utterly destitute man named Lazarus, [reduced to begging alms and] covered with [ ulcerated] sores. 21) He [eagerly] desired to be satisified with what fell from the rich man's table: moreover, the dogs even came and licked his sores. 22)And it occured that the man [reduced to ] begging died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23) And in Hades (the realm of the dead), being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24) And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have pity and mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I am in anguish in this flame. 25) But Abraham said, Child, remember that you in your lifetime fully received [what is due you in) comforts and delights, and Lazarus in like manner the discomforts and distresses but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish. 26) And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who want to pass from this [place] to you may not be able, and no one may pass from there to us. _Luke16:19-26 Amp. Bible

The little animal hanging from his hand ........
AFTER WE were safe on the island, we knew and recognized that it was called Malta. 2) And the natives showed us unusual and remarkable kindness, for they kindled a fire and welcomed and received us all, since it had begun to rain and was cold. 3) Now Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and he was laying them on the fire when a viper crawled out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand. 4) When the natives saw the little animal hanging from his hand, they said to one another. Doubtless this man is a murderer, for though he has been saved from the sea. Justice [ the goddess of avenging] has not permitted that he should live. 5) Then [Paul simply] shook off the small creature into the fire and suffered no evil effects. 6)However, they were waiting, expecting him to swell up or suddenly drop dead; but when they had watched him for a long time and saw nothing fatal or harmful come to him, they changed their minds and kept saying over and over that he was a god....11) It was after three months' stay there that we set sail in ship which had wintered in the island, an Alexandrian ship with the Twin Brothers [Castor and Pollux] as its figurehead. 12) We landed at Syracuse and remained there three days. 13) And from there we made a circuit [following the coast] and reached Rhegium, and one day later a south wind sprang up, and the next day we arrived at Puteoli. 14) There we found some [Christian] brethren and were entreated to stay with them for seven days. And so we came to Rome. ...30) After this Paul lived there for two entire years [at his own expense] in his own rented lodging, and he welcomed all who came to him. _Acts 28: Amp. Bible

COMPASSION IS THE ANSWER ! .......
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. _Matthew 9:36...36) When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd. _Matthew 9:36 Amp. Bible...Compassion is what we all need the most. Compassion compelled Jesus to go to the cross. He wants us to have that same kind of compassion (Love) for people. He has sent us out to reach a love-starved world. We can do it in "His" name....
