A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS...
A voice of one crying in the wilderness [shouting in the desert],. Prepare the way of the Lord, make His beaten tracks, straight (level and passable)! 4) John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness (desert), preaching a baptism [ obligating] repentance ( a change of one's mind for the better, heartily amending one's ways, with abhorrence of his past sins) in order to obtain forgiveness of and release from sins. 5) And there kept going out to him [continously] all the country of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, as they were confessing their sins. 6) And John wore clothing woven of camel's hair and had a leather girdle around his loins and ate locusts and wild honey. 7) And he preached, saying. After me comes He Who is stronger (more powerful and more valiant) than I, the strap of Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to stoop down and unloose. 8) I have baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. _ Mark 1:3-8 Amp. A GREAT FISH SWALLOWED UP JONAH...
NOW THE word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai, saying. 2) Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim against it, for their wickedness has come up before Me. 3) But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from being in the presence of the Lord {as His prophet] and went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish [the most remote of the Phoenician trading places then known]. So he paid the appointed fare and went down into the ship to go with them to Tarshish from being in the presence of the Lord. 4) But the Lord sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a violent tempest on the sea so that the ship was about to be broken. Jonah 1:1-4...15) So they took up Jonah and cast him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. 16) Then the men [reverently and worshipfully] feared the Lord exceedingly, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows. 17) Now the Lord had prepared and appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. _Jonah 1:15-17 Amp. Bible ... THEN JONAH prayed to the Lord his God from the fish's belly. 2) And said, I cried out of my distress to the Lord, and He heard me: out of the belly of Sheol cried I, and You heard my voice. _Jonah 2:1-2 Amp. ONE WILL BE TAKEN (and) ONE WILL BE LEFT...
As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38) For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, [men] marrying and [women] being given in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah went into the ark. 39) And they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away--so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40) At that time two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left. 41) Two women will be grinding at the hand mill : one will be taken and one will be left. 42) Watch therefore [ give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [ whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming. _Matthew 24:37-42 Amp. MAKE YOURSELF AN ARK .....
God said to Noah, I intend to make an end of all flesh, for through men the land is filled with violence; and behold. I will destroy them and the land. 14) Make yourself an ark of gopher or cypress wood: make in it rooms (stalls, pens, coops, nests, cages, and compartments) and cover it inside and out with pitch (bitumen). 15) And this is the way you are to make it: the length of the ark shall be 300 cubits, its breadth 50 cubits, and its heigth 30 cubits [that is, 450 ft. x 75 ft. x 45ft.]. 16) You shall make a roof or window [a place for light] for the ark and finish it to a cubit [at least 18 inches] above--and the door of the ark you shall put in the side of it: and you shall make it with lower, second, and third stories. Genesis 6:1316
...But I will establish My covenant (promise, pledge) with you, and you shall come into the ark--you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. 19) And of every living thing of all flesh [found on land]. you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you: they shall be male and female. 20) Of fowls and birds according to their kinds, of beasts according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind--two of every sort shall come in with you, that they may be kept alive. 21) Also take with you every sort of food that is eaten, and you shall collect and store it up, and it shall serve as food for you and for them. 22) Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him. _Genesis 6:18-22 Amp. Lord, we want our eyes to be opened ! ...
Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free]. 29) And as they were going out of Jerico; a great throng accompanied Him. 30) And behold, two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, Lord, have pity and mercy on us. [You] Son of David! 31) The crowds reproved them and told them to keep still; but they cried out all the more, Lord, have pity and mercy on us. [You] Son of David! 32) And Jesus stopped and called them, and asked, What do you want Me to do for you? 33) They answered Him, Lord, we want our eyes to be opened! 34) And Jesus, in pity, touched their eyes; and instantly they reveived their sight and followed Him. _Matthew 20:28-34 Amp. THE DA VINCI CODE..... continued
"Exposing the Da Vinci code" by Dr. Erwin Lutzer...
*As Christians we are under attack. Dan Brown's book and movie "The Da Vinci Code" grossly distort the Truth about Jesus and His divinity. Brown's story claims: Jesus did not die on the cross. Jesus was married and had a child. Leonardo DaVinci embedded clues in his artwork that reveal the greatest conspiracy in history. The bloodline of Christ was protected by an eleventh century secret society. The grail was actually a metaphor for Mary Magdalene.
*For the sake of our children, grandchildren, and the people we know and love, we must stand up and boldly declare the truth! We need to be ready with a defense of our faith in Christ. The Bible declares: "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching." FOR WHOEVER ~FOR WHOEVER ~ FOR WHOEVER !!!
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [ in the eternal kingdom of God]? 37) For what can a man give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed] life [ in the eternal kingdom of God]?
38) For whoever is ashamed [here and now] of Me and My words in this adulterous (unfaithful) and [preeminently] sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory (splendor and majesty) of His Father with the holy angels. _Mark 8:36-38 Amp. Bible

TREE OF KNOWLEDGE ~ GARDEN of EDEN ...
And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. 16) And the Lord God commanded the man saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden. 16) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blesing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. 18) Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. _Genesis 2:15:18,,3:2) And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden. 3) Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. 4) But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die. 5) For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity. 6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable and pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate. 7) Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apronlike girdles. 8) And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9) But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you ? A MAN NAMED LAZARUS ....
There was a certain rich man who [habitually] clothed himself in purple and fine linen and reveled and feasted and made merry in splendor every day. 20) And at his gate there was [carelessly] dropped down and left a certain utterly destitute man named Lazarus, [reduced to begging alms and] covered with [ ulcerated] sores. 21) He [eagerly] desired to be satisified with what fell from the rich man's table; moreover, the dogs even came and licked his sores. 22)And it occured that the man [reduced to] begging died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was burried. 23)And in Hades (the realm of the dead), being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24) And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have pity and mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame. 25) But Abraham said, Child, remember that you in your lifetime fully received [what is due you in] comforts and delights, and Lazarus in like manner the discomforts and distresses; but now he is comforted here and you are in angush. 26)And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who want to pass from this [place] to you may not be able, and no one may pass from there to us. 27) And [the man] said, Then, Father, I besceech you to send him to my father's house-- _Luke 16:19-27 Amp.
