    Mark 6:28; Job 15:31-32

Mark 6:28 King James Version (KJV)

28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

Mark 6:28 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

28 The guard put the head on a platter and took it to the girl. Then she gave it to her mother.

    These are my thoughts.

Sometimes what the world wants is so cruel.

Job 15:31-32 King James Version (KJV)

31 Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

32 It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.

Job 15:31-32 Good News Translation (GNT)

31 If they are foolish enough to trust in evil,
then evil will be their reward.
32 Before their time is up they will wither,
wither like a branch and never be green again.

31 We shouldn’t trust in evil but instead trust and follow the Lord. If we follow evil then evil will be returned to us but if we follow the Lord then good will be returned to us from Him the Way He wants it.

32 When we die what happens in our life will be to late, we need to serve the Lord now and let our life His and by Him we have true life.

    These are my thoughts.

We should live to bring praise to the Lord by serving.

Hebrews 1:10-12 King James Version (KJV)

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

    11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Hebrews 1:10-12 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

10 And: You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands. 11 They shall perish, but you shall endure. They all will grow old as does a garment, 12 and as a vesture you will change them, and they will be changed. But you are always, and your years shall not fail.

10 God created the world and still has power over His creation, even though many reject the Lord, He is still in control but isn’t controlling and allows us our freewill.

11 God never changes but He wants to improve us and grow us as we grow old let us grow old leaning on Him and being grown up in Him and seeking Him and His ways.

12 God can make changes when things seem impossible and His changes are life changing.

    Mark 6:27; Job 15:27-30

Mark 6:27 King James Version (KJV) 27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, Mark 6:27 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 27 At once he ordered a guard to cut off John’s head there in prison. Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts. We should be diligent to do good instead of doing evil but often we are quick to do wrong but take time to think on doing good. Job 15:28-30 King James Version (KJV) 28 And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps. 29 He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth. 30 He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away. Job 15:28-30 Good News Translation (GNT) 28 They are the ones who captured cities and seized houses whose owners had fled, but war will destroy those cities and houses. 29 They will not remain rich for long; nothing they own will last. Even their shadows will vanish, 30 and they will not escape from darkness. They will be like trees whose branches are burned by fire, whose blossoms are blown away by the wind. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 28 War is rough and there isn’t much on earth that has the same effects as war. 29 Riches don’t often make people happy for long because there is always more to have and riches can fade away. 30 No one can escape their fate with the Lord, we as Christians are blessed to be saved from judgment because of Jesus.
