    Phil 1:22; Heb 3:3-4

    Philippians 1:22 King James Version (KJV)

    22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

    Philippians 1:22 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

    22 I don’t know what to choose. I could keep on living and doing something useful.

    These are my thoughts.
    We need to keep living in service and honor to the Lord.

    Hebrews 3:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

    For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

    For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

    Hebrews 3:3-4 Good News Translation (GNT)

    A man who builds a house receives more honor than the house itself. In the same way Jesus is worthy of much greater honor than Moses. Every house, of course, is built by someone—and God is the one who has built all things.

    3 Jesus was far more important then Moses. Moses was used by God to help lead us to know that we need Jesus because we cant keep the law given thru Moses. Jesus is the builder and Moses was one of the houses.

    4 God has built so many things and all of the things of faith are built from God.

    Mark 6:40; Job 16:8-10

    Mark 6:40 King James Version (KJV)
    40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

    Mark 6:40 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

    40 They sat down in groups of a hundred and groups of fifty.

    These are my thoughts.
    The people were in groups, God supports us joining small groups.

    Job 16:8-10 King James Version (KJV)
    8 And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.

    9 He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.

    10 They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me.

    Job 16:8-10 Good News Translation (GNT)

    8     You have seized me; you are my enemy.
    I am skin and bones,
        and people take that as proof of my guilt.

    9 In anger God tears me limb from limb;
        he glares at me with hate.
    10 People sneer at me;
        they crowd around me and slap my face.

    8 Job knew the it was satan who was attacking but he also knew that God had to allow it because of him following God and not falling away into sin.

    9 God was not attacking Job but was not doing anything to stop it.

    10 The crowds thought Job sins brought this on him but as much as he is being attacked, he could not of hid that much sin.

    Phil 1:21; Heb 3:1-2

    Philippians 1:21 King James Version (KJV)

    21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

    Philippians 1:21 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

    21 For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

    These are my thoughts.

    Whether we go to glory by dying or we continue to serve here on earth we are blessed because we are in Him.

    Hebrews 3:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

    Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

    Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

    Hebrews 3:1-2 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

    He calls upon us to hear and honour the word of Christ, who is more worthy than Moses. The punishment of persons who stubbornly harden their hearts.

    Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the celestial calling, consider the ambassador and high priest of our profession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him who appointed him, even as Moses was in all his house.

    1 The calling we have is from God Himself, He called us to faith. We are representatives of the Lord and Jesus is our high priest because He stands before God on our behalf, as a priest and the Lamb.

    2 Moses had prophesied about Jesus and Jesus takes the role of Moses and the priests and so much more.

    Mark 6:39; Job 17:5-7

    Mark 6:39 King James Version (KJV)
    39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

    Mark 6:39 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

    39 Jesus told his disciples to have the people sit down on the green grass.

    These are my thoughts.
    Jesus often wants us to sit so we stop to let Him work.

    Job 17:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
    5 He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.

    6 He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.

    7 Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

    Job 17:5-7 Good News Translation (GNT)

    5 In the old proverb someone betrays his friends for money,
    and his children suffer for it.
    6 And now people use this proverb against me;
    they come and spit in my face.
    7 My grief has almost made me blind;
    my arms and legs are as thin as shadows.

    5 This would be the very thing Judas would do to Jesus, however we the children of faith are blessed by what Judas did, how ever their was a curse carried by Judas that lead to his own death.

    6 Job was having his friends blame him and accuse him of sin and now they were saying his children died because of his hidden sins.

    7 Job may have dying due to depression and the sickness that satan had put on him. Job did not have much of a will to live.
