    Mark 6:31; Job 16:4-5

Mark 6:31 King James Version (KJV)
31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

Mark 6:31 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

31 And he said to them, “You yourselves come privately to an isolated place and rest for a short time.” For those who were coming and going were many, and they did not even have time to eat.

Mark 6:31 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

31 But so many people were coming and going that Jesus and the apostles did not even have a chance to eat. Then Jesus said, “Let’s go to a place where we can be alone and get some rest.”

    These are my thoughts.
It is good and needed to be alone with Jesus.

Job 16:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.

But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.

Job 16:4-5 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

If you were in my place I could also talk like you.

I could string words together against you
and shake my head at you.
Instead, I would encourage you with my mouth,
    and the consolation from my lips would bring relief.A)" data-cr="#cen-CSB-13244A" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;">

Job 16:4-5 Good News Translation (GNT)

If you were in my place and I in yours,
I could say everything you are saying.
I could shake my head wisely
and drown you with a flood of words.
I could strengthen you with advice
and keep talking to comfort you.

4 Job lets them know if the roles were reversed he could do exactly as they were doing to him, i think he says this to make them thing about how they would feel if that happened placing themselves in his shoes maybe they would be more careful about their words.

5 Job was asking for words of encouragement because he was going thru the toughest period of his life and they could help uplift him instead of tearing him down. Let us be encouragers to other Christians would are seeking the Lord in their walk with the Lord.

    Mark 6:31; Job 16:1-3

The people came so much that they did not have time but Jesus knew it was important for them to have time away from the crowd, we need time alone with Jesus.

Job 16:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

16 Then Job answered and said,

I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.

Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?

Job 16:1-3 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

    Job’s Reply to Eliphaz

    16 Then Job answered:

I have heard many things like these.
    You are all miserable comforters.A)" data-cr="#cen-CSB-13241A" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;">
Is there no end to your empty words?
What provokes you that you continue testifying?

Job 16:1-3 Good News Translation (GNT)

    16

    1-2 I have heard words like that before;
the comfort you give is only torment.
Are you going to keep on talking forever?
Do you always have to have the last word?

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

1-2 Sometimes in life we maybe given advice from friends that only lets us know what we did wrong, us already knowing that and them only making us feel bad about what we did instead of bringing us comfort.

3 Job felt he had to defend himself but he was tired of hearing them and tired of talking with them.

    These are my thoughts.

We need to see everything that happens to us both good and bad to give to our story of where God is leading us.

Hebrews 1:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 1:13-14 Good News Translation (GNT)

13 God never said to any of his angels:
“Sit here at my right side
    until I put your enemies
as a footstool under your feet.”

14 What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.

Hebrews 1:13-14 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

13 To which of the angels did he say at any time: Sit on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for the sakes of those who will be heirs of salvation?

13 We hold a closer bond to the Lord then even the angels do, we are so blessed, God died for us on the cross displaying His love for us.

14 Angels are meant to serve God often by helping us and sending messages to men as we see them do in the bible, we shows we hold a higher place then them.

Mark 6:29 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

29 When John’s followers learned that he had been killed, they took his body and put it in a tomb.

    These are my thoughts.
When John died thier was a headless body but Jesus body was gone because He conquered death.

Job 15:33-35 King James Version (KJV)

33 He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.

34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

35 They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.

and like an olive tree that sheds its blossoms.

Job 15:33-35 Good News Translation (GNT)

    33 They will be like vines that lose their unripe grapes;

like olive trees that drop their blossoms.
34 There will be no descendants for godless people,
and fire will destroy the homes built by bribery.
    35 These are the ones who plan trouble and do evil;
their hearts are always full of deceit.

Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

33  Losing blossoms and unripe fruit means that nothing knew will bear and we can have a life for now without the future in concern or we can let the Lord lead us and Him take care of our future.

34 The man is wrong about his views people who are wicked often have kids but the judgment of the Lord is like the fire he speaks of. Wickedness can divide and destroy homes.

35 You can not be devoted to the Lord and be evil, you can not be in Truth and live for deceit. Evil has its eternal downfall but the grace of the Lord gives us salvation.
