    Mark 4:6; Job 5:10-11

Mark 4:6 King James Version (KJV)

But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Mark 4:6 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched and dried up, because they did not have enough roots.

    These are my thoughts.

If our roots are not founded in Him this world will do a great harm to us.

Job 5:10-11 King James Version (KJV)

10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:

11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

Job 5:10-11 Good News Translation (GNT)

10 He sends rain on the land
     and he waters the fields.
11 Yes, it is God who raises the humble
and gives joy to all who mourn.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

10 “God sends rain on both the just and the unjust.” There would be many times that the people would look else where than the Lord they needed rain no matter what god people look to it had always been the Lord that sends rain.

11 God does not cause people to have pride in them because this is sin. He can restore us. He can give us a happiness that stays even when we are go thru a hard time.

    Mark 4:5; Job 5:8-9

Mark 4:5 King James Version (KJV)

And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

Mark 4:5 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

Other seeds fell on thin, rocky ground and quickly started growing because the soil wasn’t very deep.

    These are my thoughts.

There are some who start out with a fire for the Lord as soon as they hear the gospel, we are all to have a fire for Him as Christians.

Job 5:8-9 King James Version (KJV)

I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

Job 5:8-9 Good News Translation (GNT)

If I were you, I would turn to God
and present my case to him.
We cannot understand the great things he does,
and to his miracles there is no end.

8 Turning to God is something we all should do but Job was called righteous which meant he had turned to God but he needed to turn his troubles over to the Lord and ask the Lord for help to get thru it. We have no case before the Lord we all are found guilty of judgment this is why we need Jesus who can present His case for us.

9 This is true the Lord is not someone we can ever truly fathom but we can only understand apart of Him enough to accept Him as Lord. The Lord has done so much for us and we can never truly know how much.

    Mark 4:4; Job 5:6-7

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xXcuOfMKWk

Mark 4:4 King James Version (KJV)

And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

Mark 4:4 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

While the farmer was scattering the seed, some of it fell along the road and was eaten by birds.

Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society

    These are my thoughts.

We don’t the seeds of the gospel we throw out to eat by the birds of the world but we are not to let the chance of this happening keep us from being used to spread the seed.

Job 5:6-7 King James Version (KJV)

    Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

Job 5:6-7 Good News Translation (GNT)

Evil does not grow in the soil,
nor does trouble grow out of the ground.
No indeed! We bring trouble on ourselves,
as surely as sparks fly up from a fire.

6 These often times come and grow from the heart, evil is planted and before people know it they have trouble escape the trap of sin, Jesus is the only escape but few will go to Him. The world is full of evil even though most people will never admit this and will say things like there is good in all people, this is true if they have Jesus because if we don’t we all on our way to judgment,

7 Sin is like a fire it destroys things in our lives and will end up destroying us. Following after this world leads to nothing but trouble. We have to be willing to admit we are sinful and that this world is evil to be able to accept Jesus they way we should. It is when we realize He is our only hope and the only One who is good that we can truly submit to His will and Him and Lord.

    Mark 4:3; Job 5:4-5

Mark 4:3 King James Version (KJV) 3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: Mark 4:3 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 3 Now listen! A farmer went out to scatter seed in a field. Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts. We are to do the same with the gospel, spreading the gospel so the Lord can grow the seed He uses us to plant. Job 5:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. 5 Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. Job 5:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. 5 Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. Job 5:4-5 Good News Translation (GNT) 4 Their children can never find safety; no one stands up to defend them in court. 5 Hungry people will eat the fool's crops— even the grain growing among thorns— and thirsty people will envy his wealth. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 4 Children are defenseless this is why they need their parents to look out for them. Safety is very important in the development of children; safety is also an important part of us growing as Christians. We have Christ to defend as Christians. 5 When people are hungry they eat it does not matter where the food comes from. When needs are not met it is important for them to be met and people will do it no matter what.
