    Phil 1:20; Heb 2:17-18

Philippians 1:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Philippians 1:20 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

20 according to my eager expectation and hope, that I will be put to shame in nothing, but with all boldness, even now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether through life or through death.

    These are my thoughts.

    Our hope is in Jesus.

Hebrews 2:17-18 King James Version (KJV)

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 2:17-18 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

17 Therefore it was fitting for him to be made like his brethren in all things, so that he could be merciful, and a faithful high priest in things concerning God, in order to purge the people’s sins. 18 For in that he himself suffered and was tried, he is able to succour those who are tried.

17 Jesus was made Jewish to fulfill scripture so that He could be the Christ. Jesus is our priest, He answers to God for us and thru the cross, He became the answer for us. Jesus alone is the answer for sin.

18 Jesus suffered on the cross because His love for us is so great.

    Mark 6:39; Job 17:3-4

Mark 6:39 King James Version (KJV)

39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

Mark 6:39 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

39 Jesus told his disciples to have the people sit down on the green grass.

    These are my thoughts.
Sometimes sitting being patience is hard but we need to do this for the Lord to act and then we follow.

Job 17:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?

For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.

Job 17:3-4 Good News Translation (GNT)

I am being honest, God. Accept my word.

There is no one else to support what I say.
    You have closed their minds to reason;
don't let them triumph over me now.

3 Job was being truthful, he hadnt done sin for this to happen to him, it seemed like God had turned against him and his friends were attacking him, Job wanted help, we as Christians always have help in Jesus.

4 Job understand that they were not going to see things any different but he always knew he was right even if everyone else was wrong, we need to be humble but stand for the Lord in truth.

Philippians 1:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Philippians 1:19 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

19 for I know that this will turn out to me for deliverance through your prayer and the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

    These are my thoughts.

Prayer helps us connect with the Lord and see His will and feel His support for us to help us along the way He is leading us.

Hebrews 2:15-16 King James Version (KJV)
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Hebrews 2:15-16 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

15 and to deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For in no place does he take on him the angels, but he takes the seed of Abraham on him.

15 We dont have to fear death as Christians because we have already died to self as believers ad are living for Him, we have already passed to life and after death we have nothing to fear because we are to enter glory.

16 This is a reference to the Jews, the Jews are still special people to God.

    Mark 6:38; Hob 17:1-2

Mark 6:38 King James Version (KJV)

38 He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

Mark 6:38 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

38 Then Jesus said, “How much bread do you have? Go and see!”

They found out and answered, “We have five small loaves of bread and two fish.”

    These are my thoughts.
This was a small meal for a child, we need to give God even things we see as small because God can do great things.

Job 17:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

17 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.

Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?

Job 17:1-2 Good News Translation (GNT)

    1

    1 The end of my life is near. I can hardly breathe;
there is nothing left for me but the grave.
I watch how bitterly everyone mocks me.

1 Job didnt know it but God was going to bring him out of this and bless Job even greater then before, as believers we have greater things to come after this life comes to an end.

2 Job was mocked, people were caiming his actions brought this trouble in his life, this wasnt true but Jesus was hated for being Good and we are promised by Him that people in return will hate us because they dont want to turn from their sins, we may as Christians be mocked.
