Mark 2:2; 1 Peter 5:13-14
Mark 2:2King James Version (KJV) 2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. Mark 2:2Good News Translation (GNT) 2 So many people came together that there was no room left, not even out in front of the door. These are my thoughts. Many people will want to hear the good news but few will
make the comment needed to receive it. 1 Peter 5:13-14King James Version (KJV) 13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son. 14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen. 1 Peter 5:13-1421st Century King James Version (KJ21) 13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you, and so doth Mark, my son. 14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

13 Mark was trained by Peter after having left Paul. Mark
may have very well written from Peter point of view. Mark may not been the true
son of Peter but a son as Paul refers to Timothy as his son.
14 This was a common greeting of friendship today’s time it
would be a hug. Handshakes are common but often times do not show love. Having
Christ brings us peace that is without words. Keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 2:1; 1 Peter 5:12
KJV(i) 1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. CAB(i) 1 And He entered again into Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in a certain house.
These are my thoughts.
Sometimes God will have us go back to where we were early
before leading us further and this also shows us where He has lead us from. 1 Peter 5:12King James Version (KJV) 12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand. 1 Peter 5:1221st Century King James Version (KJ21) 12 By Silvanus, whom I account to be a faithful brother unto you, I have written briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) Copyright © 1994 by Deuel Enterprises, Inc. Silvanus served with Paul and was a friend of Paul. Silvanus
may have been an encouragement to Paul may have been an aid to Paul and an
advisor to Paul; the Lord will put someone like this in our life. Peter considers
him a friend as well but it more know by Paul as Silas, it is accepted that
they are the same person. Silas was a preacher, a missionary, and also a writer
co wrote 1 and 2 Thess. Encouragement or exhortation is important because the
world is going to drag us down and our flesh will often times not want to do
what God wants of us. Only by grace can we stand before God by the grace given
by Christ’s death on the cross. The love of Christ has is key to the gospel. Keep our eyes on Jesus.

MArk 1:45;
KJV(i) 45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. CAB(i) 45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread widely the report, so that He was no longer able to enter into a city, but was outside in deserted places; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.
These are my thoughts.
All of us Christians have a testimony and we should share it
with the world and should not contain it. 1 Peter 5:10-11King James Version (KJV) 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:10-1121st Century King James Version (KJ21) 10 But after ye have suffered a while, may the God of all grace, who hath called us into His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) Copyright © 1994 by Deuel Enterprises,

10 We as Christians are going to suffer for our faith and
suffer in life, coming to Christ does not mean life will be easy most of the
time it means it is harder but it does mean He will stand with us thru these
times. After our life ends everything the Lord had brought us thru will only be
a memory and not truly matter because when we stand in His presence what else
could we want. By Christ we will be made perfect by His grace.
11 Glory will be given to God forever; He is the only one
who deserves the praise that is unending. No one deserves the praise of God all
the praise men receive will end most the time when they do but the praise of
God does not end. Keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 1:44; 1 Peter 5:8-9
KJV(i) 44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. CAB(i) 44 and said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and bring as an offering concerning your cleansing those things which Moses prescribed, as a testimony to them."
These are my thoughts. We do not have to do this today, Christ offered His life for
us and thru Him we are made clean. 1 Peter 5:8-9King James Version (KJV) 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 5:8-921st Century King James Version (KJ21) 8 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) Copyright © 1994 by Deuel Enterprises, Inc.
These are my thoughts, please share yours. 8 We should remain alert and focused on what He wants from
us. We should be determined to serve the Lord as He leads and not let things
stop us this does not mean we should do anything to do the Lord’s will because
if it truly is the Lord’s will, He will not lead us to sin but the devil will
want temptations of sins to be thrown are way. God compared Cain’s anger to an
animal ready to attack; the devil may use our emotions to get the best of us
but we are not to serve based on emotions but on Christ. The devil wants to
keep us away from God’s will so to keep God’s will from happening and it would
keep us from blessings that we get from serving Him if we are not doing His
will. 9 We should not follow the ways of the flesh this is what
the devil wants of us. If we are following God with our all then the devil can
not stop us but often times he slows us down and slowly we look at what is
around us and find that we have stopped serving the Lord. The church has been
thru all we have, this means we can go to certain Christians we trust to give
advice or help for us to overcome the clasp of the devil so we can serve God
more effectively. Keep our eyes on Jesus.
