Proverbs 31:30,31
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. 31 Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.

Proverbs 31:10-12
10 Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. 11 Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.I thank God everyday for my wife. Marrying the right person is so important. To many young people rush into marriage and end up unhappy, bitter, with their lives in disorder because they marry the wrong person. My wife is a Army wife she has put up with constant moves, me always being gone and having to manage with the kids and the house with me gone for long periods of time. She is a strong woman and the right person to be an Army wife. But more important she is a Christian wife that I know I can trust and that I know will raise our kids right.

Psalm 146:3-6
3 Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. 4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. 5 But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. 6 He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.

Psalm 145:4
4 Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. I found the following statement on the Operation World website in their prayer for today section. In the West, stable two-parent families are becoming the exception and few children have any contact with the gospel. The legacy of rejection, spiritual ignorance and deprivation of real love is beginning to bear bitter fruit in delinquency, crime and social dislocation. Pray for Christian families as they seek to bring up their children in the fear of the Lord when all around them society is disintegrating and hostile.

3 O Lord, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him? 4 Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.

Psalm 142
I cry with my voice to the Lord. With my voice, I ask the Lord for mercy. 2 I pour out my complaint before him. I tell him my troubles. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path. In the way in which I walk, They have hidden a snare for me. 4 Look on my right, and see; For there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul. 5 I cried to you, O Lord. I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.” 6 Listen to my cry, For I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are stronger than me. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, That I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, For you will be good to me.

Psalm 141:1-4
1 O Lord, I am calling to you. Please hurry! Listen when I cry to you for help! 2 Accept my prayer as incense offered to you, and my upraised hands as an evening offering. 3 Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips. 4 Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.

11 An evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him. 12 I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy. 13 Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.

Psalm 139:1-18
1 O Lord, you have searched me, And you know me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me. 6 This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it. 7 Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the dawn, And settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there your hand will lead me, And your right hand will hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; The light around me will be night;” 12 Even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, But the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you. 13 For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will give thanks to you, For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. 15 My frame wasn’t hidden from you, When I was made in secret, Woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there were none of them. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.

Psalm 138
1 I will give you thanks with my whole heart. Before the gods, I will sing praises to you. 2 I will bow down toward your holy temple, And give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; For you have exalted your Name and your Word above all. 3 In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul. 4 All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, O Lord, For they have heard the words of your mouth. 5 Yes, they will sing of the ways of the Lord; For great is the Lord's glory. 6 For though the Lord is high, yet he looks after the lowly; But the proud, he knows from afar. 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me. 8 The Lord will fulfill that which concerns me; Your loving kindness, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.

Proverbs 30:5,6
5 “Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. 6 Don’t you add to his words, Lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar. There are so many different doctrines out there in the Christian world, that you don't what is true. That is why it is so important to study the word of God for yourself. To many churches and leaders want to spin the word of God unto their own agenda. Take for example the so called prosperity movement. If you are following God to get rich, I tell you right now your heart is not in the right place.

Psalm 131
1 Lord, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don’t concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for me to grasp. 2 Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3 O Israel, put your hope in the Lord— now and always.(New Living Translation)

22 An angry person starts fights; a hot-tempered person commits all kinds of sin. It is still a working process for me. I heard a coworker make a comment today as I was walking away. I should of let it go but I didn't. Instead I choose to defend myself. I still need to work on that.

Proverbs 29:18
18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful. We can just look around us and see how people run wild without divine guidance. They will do anything or believe anything. I was looking thru a magazine the other day and they had a poll and one of the questions was "Do you believe people can have morals outside of religion." Most people said yes, well I disagree. Real morals come from a religious conviction to do the right thing. Our constitution and laws are based on the Bible no matter how much athiest want to disagree. Without real morals people cheat, lie, steal, are rude and basically don't care about their fellow man. Look how bad our schools are falling apart. It has become politically uncorrect to discipline kids and teach them morals. The new thing is to let them make their own decisions. Well what kind of decisions are they going to make when their is no one to show them what a wrong decision is or to show them consequences for making bad decisions.

Psalm 127:1,2
1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, The watchman guards it in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, To stay up late, Eating the bread of toil; For he gives sleep to his loved ones. We must do all things thru the Lord. Anything outside of the will of God will fall apart, that includes marriages, families, countrys. In everything we do put the Lord first and he will be with us. Put our trust in the Lord and he will establish us.

Proverbs 29:11
11 A fool vents all of his anger, But a wise man brings himself under control. I need to pray daily that I am the wiseman and not the fool. It seems life loves to throw little curve balls to get me frustrated and unfortunatly to many times I do let life's little problems get me frustrated. But that is what they are little problems that don't mean a thing in the long run. Thank God my family is heathy and all of our needs are taken care of, that is what is important. The little problems don't matter. They are just distractors. I need to stay focused on serving God and he will provide for our needs.

1 John 5:4,5
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? We know that tough times are in the future for the Church, not only does the Bible say that as Christians we will face persecution but reading Revelations we know what is in store. But we also know that God has the final victory and what is going to see us thru the hard times ahead is our faith.

1 John 4:2-6
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already. 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. I use to watch all of these news talk shows like O Reilly, John Beck, and Anderson Cooper and I would get so fired up over some of these issues that I couldn't sleep at night. Especially when they would talk about religious issues such as athiesim, seperation of church and state, homosexuality and the church. And then I realize something. These issues might be important but they were not worth me losing sleep over, because in the end God is going to win. Why should I care what Rosy O'Donnel or some other loud mouth athiest had to say. There view points aint worth listening to. Christanity has been around for hundreds of years and some loud mouth athiest aint going to stop it. We know God will have the final victory.

1 John 2:18
18 Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the end times. We know that the spirit of antichrist is already at work in the world. Look at the athiests organizations. It is one thing not to believe in God or religion but to actively attack religion is another thing. What drives these people to such hatred toward God. If they simply didn't believe then most people would live there lives in normal manner never thinking about God. But no something drives these people to attack God and Christians. What drives the Muslims to such hatred against the Jews and the Christians. They claim it is a history of repression by Zionist and Crusaders. When I was in Iraq the propoganda was that we were Crusaders sent by our masters the Jews. It sounds crazy but people bought into these. But the truth is that Islam is a false religion establish by Satan. If you study Islam you would know a lot of it is a copy of Judasim and Christanity. And don't ever believe Islam is a religion of peace. If you study the history Muhammed spread Islam at the point of the sword. He would attack a village and give them a choice convert or death, of course most chose to convert to Islam. Don't get me wrong I am not preaching hatred toward Muslim but just be aware of what it is about. It is a false religion created by Satan to decieve the world. The two major religions in the world right now is Christanity and Islam, with more and more people converting to Islam everyday. Read about how the Shia Muslims are waiting for the return of the 12th Inman, there version of the return of Christ. Read about the Iranian president's views on the end of the world and the destruction of Israel. Our duty as Christians is to pray for these people but don't be fooled into thinking that the Islamic religion is not an enemy of God. I have heard people say that Islam is another religion of the book of God. Don't be fooled it is a distorted corruption of the truth of God. There is a saying in the Army "know your enemy" well Satan is our enemy and these is one of his weapons. Pray for the people that is under the spell of this false religion that they might hear the truth and find the one true God.

1 John 2:16,17
16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.(New Living Translation) Why do we care so much about showing off our possessions to others. Think about it? What is having expensive jewelry, shiny rims, and loud stereos all about. It is about showing off to others what we have. Why do we care, why do we desire these things. We know they can't bring happiness, we know seeking others approval don't bring happiness. True happiness has never been found in possessions or others approval. We know only true happiness comes from living a humble life in God's will.
