HIGH AND LIFTED UP

 I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and the whole heavenly host was standing at His right hand and at His left hand.
 -2 Chronicles 18:18

  What a vision the man of the Lord had.  He saw the Lord sitting upon His Throne. The Lord is high and lifted up above all people. He is the Lord God who reigns forever. His train fills he Temple. The Seraphim worship God there always crying out Holy, Holy, Holy unto the Lord, for the Lord God Almighty is great and greatly to be praised. 

Daniel also saw the Lord upon His Throne. He called Him the Ancient of days. Daniel tells us that His clothes were white as snow and His hair was like pure wool.  

Upon the Throne our great God sits as a fiery flame.  Holy, Holy, Holy unto the Lord our God. He is high and lifted up. He is the Lord our God high and lifted up. The Lord our God dwelling in all generations. A thousand years in His sight are as yesterday and a watch in the night. Who knows His power? He will come and satisfy us with His mercy and we will rejoice and give thanks all the days of our life. Let the beauty of the Lord be upon us.

THE VIRGIN BIRTH

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. -Matthew 1:23

What a wondrous miracle that happened in Mary's life. Though hard for her to believe, she surrendered to the will of God. The things that look impossible with humanity are a great possibility with our God. There is nothing too hard for God.

God want to do big things for us. We have only to believe and surrender our will to God. What a wonder for those in the days of Mary. A child conceived by the Holy Spirit. What a wonder for us that Jesus came into the world to save sinners. God longs to do extra ordinary things in our life.

DO YOU KNOW WHO JESUS IS ? 

Out of Bethlehem came forth a Savior of the world. The prophets foretold the birth long before it happened. Have you heard about Him?
The Christ Child was born as a babe in a manger long ago and is now the Light of the world. “Christ” means “Messiah” or “anointed one”.
Through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made. 

Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. -1 John 4:2
  He came down to our level and has and an intimate relationship with his people. He loves you so much that He sacrificed His life.
He is God's anointed Son and is equipped by His Spirit. He is the One that guides us through this weary land. This world can't stand long the way it is going. 
Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God can overcomes the world. Ask Him into your heart today. He will come in and this will be the most glorious Christmas of all.

JESUS THE TRUE LIGHT

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  -John 1:6-8

John came to bear witness of the great Light. There is a Light that shines so brightly. The Light is Jesus! He is the true Light. There is no darkness in Him. This Light shines brightly for the whole world to see. Have you saw the Light? In this Light is life that is forever more. It will never grow dim or even flicker. It is the True Light that lights the way for the world.

This Light brings deliverance. Bring forth the great Light, Oh how the world needs this light. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we have received the promise of the Spirit through faith. Isaiah 1:2.  The True Light! the Light Jesus has sprang forth. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Mathew 4:16

IMMANUEL, GOD WITH US

There was no room for Jesus' family. How sad that the Savior was rejected even before He made His first appearance. He was born in the most lowly of all places, the cows stable and laid in a manger. The manger was a box or trough in a stable or barn from which horses or cattle eat. No room in the world for the loving Savior who gave His life for all. Can you imagine?  Have you made room in your heart for the Lord? 

God wants to dwell among His people. Immanuel -- God with us. What a wonderful gift to the world our Lord gave. Immanuel -God with us. That is His Name, the deity of the Son of God who came meek and lowly into this world, refusing the evil while choosing the good. God is with us! Amen. Invite Him into your heart today.

DAYSTAR SHINE ON ME

Until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. -2 Peter 1:19

The path of the just is as a shining light shining into a land of perfect day where the midst is rolled away. Oh that will be glory for me! glorious land of Light. It is a land of righteousness. That is where I want to go. 

Jesus is that daystar that shines so brightly for the whole world to see. Day Star shine down on me. All power and authority will be given unto Him and He will rule eternally. He shall rule with a Rod of iron. He is coming quickly, but until that day, shine down on me, with all glory.

Shine Jesus Shine! Let the whole world see your glory. Root and off spring of David and the Bright Morning Star shine down on us all. Shine down and let the unsaved come unto you.

In God is life which is our Light. The darkness cannot comprehend that Light. Show the world the Light of salvation.

MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS

I am with thee, says the LORD, to save thee: God is with us, what more could we possibly want. JOY to all the world. He came down to the earth to live among mankind. He is the Savior of the world. HE IS WITH US! He is here to save His people from their sins. This gives much joy to the heart of the believer. If you do not know the Lord and Savior, make room in your heart for the Lord. 

He will not cast away His people. He will keep us in all places. Joy to all! Be strong and of good courage. Fear not or be afraid. The Lord goes before us. He will not fail us nor forsake us.  Deut. 31:6

Joy to all the earth! Let us be content: The Lord is with us and is our helper. He will never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5:6 My heart is filled with  joy, and there is joy to all the world. The Lord has come. Receive Him, crown Him Lord of all. Obey Him and prosper wherever you go.

PEACE LIKE A RIVER

Everyone wants a life of peace. There is a tendency to let our mind go overboard, especially during the Holiday and busy times of life. There is peace to be found when our mind is stayed on God. He gives perfect peace

Instead of dwelling on the negative which tends to drive us spiritually low, we can choose to be happy and think about the Lord.
Think of His goodness and grace. Think of His blessings on your life. Think about how God gave His only Son to die for you. Think about His love and let your mind stay on God. Think about the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. If you do not know Christ as your Savior, make peace with Him by surrendering your life and heart to Him. The very best way to real peace is with God. Then your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.

THE WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR HEARS YOU

... and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9:6
 He is Wonderful! Even the very Name is a miracle. He came to earth born of a virgin. That is Jesus my Wonderful Lord.

 He is the eternal King of the ages, world without end, Jesus my wonderful Lord.
 The people that sat in darkness have seen a great Light from Jesus, my Wonderful Lord.
The Light has shone down on those in the shadow of death from Jesus our Wonderful Lord.

 He comes to fight our battles. He comes with fire and with His chariot like a whirlwind. He pleads with all flesh everyday for He is Wonderful. Do you know Him? Call and He will answer and show you great and mighty things. Look what the Lord has done!

 He hears your faintest cry and will answer. He said, "while they speak, I will hear." He's the Wonderful Counselor. Talk to Him today.Bring all your needs to the Wonderful Counselor. He would love to hear from you and remember, He will answer. Isaiah 65:24

THE SINNER'S CHOICE

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. -Joshua 24:15 

We all have to make a choice as to whom we will serve. Joshua's people answered "Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!

As for me and my house, I know whom we will serve. All the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. Micah 4:5 
We all have to make the choice sooner or later. Who do you choose. Please choose God this day and live.

  Genesis 35:2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes.
Joshua 24:16 Then the people answered, "Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!

Judges 6:10 I said to you, 'I am the LORD your God; do not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live.' But you have not listened to me."
Ruth 1:15 "Look," said Naomi, "your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her."

1 Kings 18:.. "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.

Daniel 3:18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Micah 4:5 All the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
