THE WATCHMEN
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O
Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night. -Isaiah 62:11. The
prophets were watchmen that watched in all things over themselves and the
souls of men. They kept their place standing and not moving from it while
looking diligently for the enemies or approaching danger, while defending the
people. Today we have called watchmen of God who lift up their voice for the
souls of men and guard them against evil. Salvation by Christ is as the walls of
today's church. Ministers of the Gospel are set for the defense of them and are
appointed by God. Continually they pray, preach and show God's love and do not
keep silent. They are always ready in season or out of season, exhorting God's
people. They are God's watchmen.

GREAT LOVE
Memorial Day is a day when we remember the fallen and honor the men and women of the Armed Forces who paid a great sacrifice for our freedom by giving their lives. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.-John 15:13 On Memorial Day, we honor those who have died in active military service for our country. We remember that they gave their life for us and for our freedom and for our protection. There have been men who died for others, but they have never taken on the sins of others as Jesus did. Jesus did that when He gave His life on Calvary. That was great love! He laid down His life so that we may be made righteous. He proved His love for us while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.1 John 3:16 He also comforts and heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

BLACK CLOUDS OF LIFE
If the clouds are full of rain, they
empty themselves upon the earth. - Ecclesiastes 11:3 Our troubles are
like as unto black clouds that arise. We may feel overwhelmed with grief
or pain. God is near and we can be refreshed by His mercy. Therefore we
do not have to dread the dark clouds. Even though it seems the sun is
hidden. There will be sunshine again. The dark clouds always bring us
rain, therefore we must go through the dark clouds, to see God's love
and power manifested. Let us not grow weary, but know that our troubles
in life will bring us blessing for the Lord is with us. The clouds will
empty and there will be spiritual blessings upon our life. Look to God
and rejoice.

EVERLASTING PRAISE
For you shall go forth with joy and be led
forth with peace, the mountain and the hills shall break forth before you into
singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. ._Isaiah 55:12
It's joyful living when our sins are all gone, and God's Words prosper in our
soul. It seems all nature rejoices with us. The ransomed of the Lord have a good
reason to sing and be happy. everlasting joy shall be with them forever. Joy and
gladness shall they obtain. Sorrow and sin shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10. Enter
into this joyful world of praise today, by way of God the Father.

BEING FOUND BLAMELESS
Be diligent that ye may be found of Him in
peace, without spot and blameless. - 2 peter 3:14 there's nothing quite like
having peace with God our Maker. We must stive to keep our hearts in peace with
God at all times. Being stained with sins of the world will keep us far from
God. We are told to keep the Commandments of God without spot, un-rebukable
until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Timothy 6:14. The Blood of
Jesus Christ who offered Himself without spot to God will purge our conscience
from dead works to serve the living God. -Hebrews 9:14 We are redeemed by the
precious blood of the Lamb without spot or blemish. He is able to help us to
live a holy life that is pleasing to God. Let us purify our soul by obeying the
truth through the spirit.

GOD WILL STRENGTHEN US
Be not dismayed for I am thy God. I
will strengthen thee. -Isaiah 4110 Sometimes in life we have heavy loads
and they seem to be more than we can bear. We may have to suffer for
various reasons. It is then we need to lay hold on God's precious
promises. All His promises are true and I believe if we claim and trust
in God. God's divine strength will bring us though to victory. In the
midst of our sickness, danger or slander, or whatever the weakness may
be, just remember God can and will give us the strength we need for He
is the Lord God who holds our right hand saying, "Fear not".
-Isaiah 41:13

TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND
And I will restore to you the years
that the locust has eaten. -Joel 2:23 I often think about all the wasted
years that so many have wasted while living in sin, when they could have
been of so much value to the Kingdom of the Lord. Satan has come to
steal and to kill, but Christ came that we may have eternal life. Our
life can count for God's Kingdom. There is much to be done lest the Caterpillar
destroys everything in its path. People are lost in sin and need the
Lord. We live in a day of darkness and thick clouds. Sin and destruction
will overtake us if we fail to call upon the Name of the Lord. Let not
the locust with their war horse attitude to destroy. When God's people
call upon the Lord thru prayer and fasting, things begin to change. Let
your life not be wasted.
