I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. - Hosea 8:12

The law was given by Moses to Israel by God. As a whole, they would not obey them nor care to know them. The people had no concern for the "strange thing".

That's the way it is today. It seems that the Bible has no place in the family, political world, and personal lives. They have forgotten their Maker. Oh that people would pick up the dear old Bible, brush the dust off once again, and turn to their Maker.

No one will prosper until they turn back to God and the Bible.

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover on an obedient ear. -Proverbs 25:11-12

How good to hear a word that is appropriate for the time. The Bible is the only true Word that fits the description of "apples of gold." God has given us much wisdom in the Bible, but so much of it goes unheard. It is chugged full of counsel for every occasion, just as the fine fruit so bountiful in silver baskets

Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O LORD God of hosts. -Jeremiah 15:16

Jeremiah had a great love for the Word of God. Here he talks about this Divine revelation. Digging deep into this treasure he found joy for his heart. His soul consumed the Words of God. Then he had the high honor of being called by His Name.

Let us lay hold on the Word and claim it for our needs. The Word generates healing and victory

Search the Word. Hide it in your heart.

Joyfully believe and confess the Word

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. -Isaiah 66:5

Here is an admonition to hear God's Word and not man's. The prideful one never trembles at the Word, but rather substitutes their own words. The prideful ones have renounced fellowship, ......

...but the righteous ones say, "Let the LORD be glorified". Then they watch God manifest His power and favor in their behalf. The Lord will appear, to the joy of the humble believer.

But the word of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you. -1 Peter 1:25

How unlike the words of mankind. We ought to be diligent in spreading the Word of the Lord. They bring Salvation. They are true words that bring eternal dividends. God's Word stands firm in the heavens. We can depend on it. Heaven and earth may pass away, but God's Word will never fail. Forever and ever God's Word will stand!

Psalm 119:89 Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

Isaiah 40:6 A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL FATHERS!

We know that whoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not. -1 John 5:18

The Christian does not practice sin. God keeps them when they keep their faith in Christ and the Cross. Satan cannot lay hands on them so as to hold them. So long as that loving faith abides in us, we neither speak nor do anything which God has forbidden. We keep  praying always and while doing this, the wicked one cannot touch or hurt us.

Send Satan where he belongs when he comes knocking at your door. Satan will have to go!

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? -Genesis 18: 14

No, nothing is difficult  for God. Even for Sarah who should have a child, when she was old. Sarah's laughter did not stop God's plan.

He made the world and everything there-in. All nature with its effects are from His great power. Great and mighty is the Lord my God. He only spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood fast. How great and wonderful is our God!

Now if we can only believe that God will meet our needs, and everything that concerns us. He is more than able to supply all our needs according to His great riches and will. Only believe!
