Fishers Of Men
“He gave some…pastors and teachers.”
Ephesians 4:11 In Jerusalem, in Jesus' day, there was a need for teachers
and leaders, as well as today. Great truths were expounded on by Paul and many
others. They bare witness of truths they had learned, from spending time with
the Master, and shared them with the whole world. Today we need workmen for God's kingdom. Workers that will
teach His sacred Word with brave and patient hearts. Let us keep true to God
until the day we gather home above. Then our eyes will be opened and we shall
see the true Light, and how much was accomplished. My brother -in-law loves
fishing and has much patients for the game. Christ Church also needs patients
when it comes to drawing in the souls. Come on fishers with the Gospel net, Let
us together draw souls to the Lord. TRUST
AND OBEY FOR THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS! ><(((º>.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸><(((º>

True Satisfaction Guaranteed
I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Psalm
17:15
We
can find satisfaction to a certain extent down here on earth, but we long for a
better place of everlasting satisfaction where Jesus dwells. It is the one absorbing desire to see God's
Face and be like Him. Christ satisfies all our longings. This troubled world
can only satisfy temporarily, but Jesus the One who cleanses us is the One we
really long for. Soon we will be with Him and dwell from generation to
generation and be His people. The tabernacle of God will be with us for there
is no other that we desire besides Him. The city will need no sun or moon to
shine for it will shine brightly with the glory of God This is something to sing and rejoice about.
The
city will be without curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in
it; and his servants shall serve him. -Rev. 22:3 Whom
have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside
thee. Psalm 73:25

All Praise To the Lord Almighty
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.”
Isaiah 6:3
It
is good to praise the Lord. He the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is worthy of
praise. He, who sits upon the throne, is holy and highly exalted above all
gods. Make known His glory through out all the world, for He is the sinless
One. He is praised in Heaven and we on earth should praise the sovereign Lord
of light and love too. Submissively let us bow to Him and obey His Holy Word.
Let us raise our voice in prayer and praise our God of grace today and everyday.
Our Father, we offer praise to You for you are worthy!

Where is Your Treasures
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col. 3:2 As
we all know, everything on this earth is temporal. Things that we possess and
hold dear will pass away. Our heart is set on high, where our help comes from.
Anything on this earth that pulls us away from Christ and the Cross is an idol.
The Cross is the object of our lives, so we are careful to not set our heart
upon riches of the world, no matter what they may be, but on God at all times.
If we place the seeking of riches ahead of the Bible, we have made a very poor
choice.
Where
your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matt. 6:21

Majesty And Honor
“The Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty.
The Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith He hath girded Himself:
the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.” Psalm 93:1 Our God is so great with majesty and might. By His hands
the world was created on its foundation, and on one has the power to move it.
He dwells in the eternal throne arrayed in light, watching over you and me. He
reigns forever more! The nations of this world are but as a drop in a bucket,
when compared to His greatness. They in anger may arise against God, but at His
rebuke they will have to calm down for God is in control. Let Satan roar. God
is mightier! God's throne and power is forever and ever. His promises are sure
and His way is everlasting holiness. His grace is sufficient for me.

Our Real Home On High
Our affection is set on high. That is where our heart is.
When the Christians leave this world, they will be off to a better place. We
will be with God forever more, in that beautiful city of gold. God's Word
says... For our conversation is in heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: -Philippians 3: 20
In Jerusalem on
high, we will sing with the angels and dwell with the Lord our King, who
brought us to that blessed land. There we will see the patriarchs and prophets
of old, as they will have finished their work on earth and with God they too
dwell. The Apostles will be there and with joy, we will hear little David play
his harp of gold. All the martyrs will be there, but instead of scars, they
will be glory crowned.
Yet
we are still hear roaming on earth, but we press on for the prize of the high
calling, for there is no place like home, our real home on high where the Lord
we will see. We shall behold His
blessed face. May we always be prepared for the coming of our Judge.

The Holy One
“The Lord reigns; let the people tremble. He
sits between the cherubim's; let the earth be moved.” Psalm 99:1
Upon
the throne sits the mighty King that loves justice and does all things right.
He reigns supremely over heaven and earth. The nations of this earth does well
to keep silence and magnify the Lord our God. He dwells between the cherubim
and reigns in majesty. Come and worship at His footstool! He is mighty and
exalted. He is all powerful and glorious! He is the Holy One. He hears the
cries of all who call on Him. He also sends judgment on all who sins, yet He
pardons graciously. Let us all exalt the Lord for He is the Holy One.

The New Jerusalem
“The wall was made of jasper, and the city of
pure gold, as pure as glass.” -Revelation 21:18 What
joys must await us in the land where milk and honey flows. Surely it is a land
of glory beyond compare. There the angels are singing around the throne, where
the Prince of Peace reigns in eternal glory. The blessed ones are there in
glory and David surely is playing his harp there as shouts of triumphant songs
of praise soar through the heavenly city. They have conquered the great fight
of life. How sweet it will be over there where Jesus in mercy brings us to that
land of rest. Soon our life on earth will be over and we will be in that place
where no tears will ever come. O happy day! Eternal rest forever. No more sickness,
pain or sorrows. Do you want to live in that home on high. Fight the good fight
of faith and hear the grand "Welcome Home"
