    His Love

    His Love Endures Forever

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
             His faithful love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
             His faithful love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
             His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles.
             His faithful love endures forever.
Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully.
             His faithful love endures forever.
Give thanks to him who placed the earth among the waters.
             His faithful love endures forever.
Give thanks to him who made the heavenly lights—
             His faithful love endures forever.
the sun to rule the day,
             His faithful love endures forever.
And the moon and stars to rule the night.
             His faithful love endures forever.

    Psalm 136 (New Living Translation)

The great God of gods is loving and merciful. His love endures forever. God is great and greatly to be praised. He is the one who hung the earth in place. He is the one who made the waters and light. Without Him anything was made. In Him we live and have our beings. He is the one who controls our lives. He knows everything about us and he has great love for us all.

I worship and praise you O God. Thank you for everything. The earth belongs to you and all the fullness thereof. Thank you for your love and power. Great is Your mercy. You are ever loyal to Your covenant of love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

but have everlasting life. -John 3:16

Horsemen Are Coming and the River is Rising - What will You Do?

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou trusts, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan? Jeremiah 5:12

God was telling Jeremiah that if he grew faint with lesser trials and felt like quitting what would he do when the battle got ever harder. The river Jordan, in the flood stage overflowed its banks into a plain that grew up as a thicket. -- And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overflowed all his banks all the time of harvest,) Joshua 3:15

Jeremiah needed to be ready to deal with these tough testing. The invader's overwhelming the land like a flood, or posing high danger as in the Jordan thicket where wild animals could terrify a person.  -- Deep calls unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Ps. 42:7

It is true. We as Christians are going to have trials on earth. 1 Peter 4: 12 says; Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. -Heb. 12:3-4.
We may feel that we are overwhelmed as Jeremiah did but we must remember God is there for us. We only have to cry out to Him as David did. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. -Psalm 69:1,2

Be assured, God will be there when our rivers rise and the horsemen are coming. Only trust Him.

    –Brenda

    God's Word

    His Word Shall Accomplish Much

5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
        -Isaiah 55

    Let Your Word Go Forth
    Isaiah 55:11

Let Your word go forth among the nations
Let Your voice be heard among the people
May they know our God, the only true God
Reigns on earth as You reign in heaven
May Your church be bold and speak with one voice
May our hearts be strong and never failing
May we know no fear, except a holy fear of You
    Our King.

    O Lord, may my life
Be an offering unto You my King.

    Be Not Afraid

When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. -Deut. 20: 1

The Israelites were in battle and they were commanded not to fear the enemy’s horses or chariots. The outcome of the battle was determined by mere militant strength. They had already seen God's power and faithfulness when delivered from Egypt's land. Now they were to be strong and not afraid.

Today we too gain strength when we remember what God had done for us. In the many times He has come to our rescue and delivered us. God expects us to continue trusting Him and not be afraid.  The Lord is with us and will deliver us from whatever bests us.

But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. Ps.41: 10.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deut. 31:6

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Deut. 5:6

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

So the Lord says to His people:

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

    Harvest

    Fields of White

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.  -John 4: 35

Jesus said, "Lift up your eyes and look on the fields of white already white to harvest.

Today we only have to open our eyes and see just how great the harvest fields are. Look all around and see the hurting, the suffering and the lonely. There's a work for all to do. The harvest is ripe. The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Matthew 9: 37

See the elderly people sitting so lonely just waiting for a friendly word or smile. Lift up your eyes and see. Our neighbors are lost. Just look around your neighborhood and see the ones who do not seem to care if they worship God or not. Oh do not put it off, for Jesus said, there are yet four months and then comes harvest. The fields are already white and we have work to do. Everyone that professes Christ can pray. Jesus said to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send forth laborers into his harvest. One can help out in this great harvest without even leaving home.

The harvest will be here until Jesus comes back, so we all have work to do. While the earth remained, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8: 22

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: 1 Thessalonians 3:1 Paul said: Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: Colossians 4:3

    Sin In The Camp

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

     -Numbers 5: 1-4

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    ----------------------------------------------------------

In the days of Moses God commanded that certain ones were to be put out of the camp. The leper was one to be put out as it was considered a type of sin. Any sin of the flesh must be dealt with.

Today we too must deal with our sins that creep into our lives if we want to see revival and have fellowship with God. There must be a cleansing in our lives. When we live in conscious sins God will not bless us or walk with us. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saint’s ant to be had in reverence of all them that is about Him. Psalm 89: 7

We need to open our eyes to the sin in our lives and in the church. Let God be glorified. "For our God is a consuming fire". Hebrews 12:29He will heal the sin-sick soul. Numerous times in the Gospels we find him reaching out to heal the sick and to make them clean. He healed them all, the skin diseases, sin-sick,  and much more. Matthew 8: 1-4

Just one touch from the Savior will make us whole!

    Anchor

THE ANCHOR AND HOPE OF OUR SOUL

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
    19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. - Hebrews 5

    LABOR
Our labor for the Lord is: a labor of love (I
     Thes 1:3).
A labor not in vain (I Cor 15:58).
A labor known by Christ (Rev 2:2).
A labor God does not forget (Heb 6:10).
A labor which is to be done together (I Cor 3:9).
A labor for eternal things (Col 1:28-9).
A labor which is to reward (I Cor 3:8).
A labor done to be accepted by Him (II Cor 5:9).
    A
labor which doesn't have an end (Luke 10:2)

    Love at its Best

LOVE IS THE KEY TO AGOOD LIFE

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
    5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
    6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day and feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was inquiring of the older preacher. The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals.

The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the WILL OF GOD for his life and for his ministry. Because of his high respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to TRY to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact...It wasn't long before he realized how impossible it was to do so.

Noticing the younger preacher's inability to unfold the rosebud while keeping it intact, the older preacher began to recite the following poem...

    UNDOLDING THE ROSE

It is only a tiny rosebud,
    A flower of God's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.

    The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
When in my hands they fade and die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
    This flower of God's design,
Then how can I think I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?

So I'll trust in Him for His leading
    Each moment of every day.
I will look to him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.

The pathway that lies before me,
    Only my Heavenly Father knows.
I'll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.

    God Supreme

     Our Great God

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. -Hebrews 1: 1-5

Here we see the Majesty of the Son of God  and the performance that God has fully revealed his Father's will to the world. When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. John 16:13 His Son made all things, in the most perfect manner alone.
Jesus Christ the Son of God both God and man is the true eternal and only Prophet, King and High Priest, that was shadowed by the figures of the old law.  Christ in these last times comes to us from the Father. He is preferred above the angels, both in person and office. The Son of God is indeed that prophet or teacher, who has actually now performed that which God signified by his prophets,. He has fully revealed his Father's will to the world.  God spoke through them, the prophets whom were only men that were used of God and chosen as the instruments, to proclaim the message of God.

The same Son is appointed by the Father to be our king and Lord, by whom also he made all things: and in whom only he sets forth his glory and is under obligation to us. He upholds and supports all things by his will and pleasure and executed the office of the High Priest in offering up himself. He is our only and most mighty Mediator in heaven. He was man and God also. He is seen in much Dignity and honor. His superiority is that great name, which he received by inheritance, that of the Son. That Name is above all names. Praise His Holy Name.

BY WAY OF THE RED SEA

And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way -Numbers 21:4

Moses grew weary and frustrated as he led the children of Israel. The long route by the red Sea was long, hard and led to impatience. They had just won victory over Arad even though Israel showed lack of obedience toward the Lord. They grew to despise the manna that was sent by God. They confessed their sin after the fiery serpents were sent.
Sometimes on our journeyed too grow weary and are not thankful as we should be. It is then that we should fall on our knees and thank God for the way that He leads. Our Red Sea will be much easier to journey when we recognize what God will led us through all the long weary rout of our way.
Prayer: Lord let me hear and obey your voice, then it will be my joy to follow you.  -Brenda A.

    Hinds Feet

He Makes Our Feet As Hinds Feet

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.  -Habakkuk 3: 19

As the sure footed deer scales the precipitous mountains heights without slipping, so our faith is the Lord will enable us to endure hardships of life and all our perplexing questions. He gives divine favor and hope so we too can walk as the deer - sure of our way. He is our refuge and to Him we flee. He makes us to ride in the heights of the earth where we find honey in the rock. In the flinty rocks we find the oil of gladness.

On through the rocky places he guides us. He hears our cries and comes to our rescue. We have his promise that the journey we are to make will make our feet like hinds feet, so we travel on. The Lord, our Shepherd is good to his flock and feeds us with the fat of the Lambs. He plants His seed of Love in our hearts and makes us want to keep traveling up the rough steep mountains of life. The heavens drop down dew for us. We are his people. The sword of the majesty treads down our enemies and He lets us climb up the high places because he makes our feet like hinds feet. Be encouraged: God loves you. -Brenda A.

Inspired after reading from the book “Hinds Feet” by Hannah Hurmard. It is a highly recommended book for the Christian who desires to please God.

    Examination

    Self Examination

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. -Psalm 139: 2-3

This is a beautiful and impressive prayer for the beginning of every day. David pleads very earnestly with God that he would leave no recess of his spirit unexplored, that he would bring the heart and all its thoughts, the life and all its ways, under a most searching examination, so that no form and no degree of evil might fail to be detected.

God is light and in His light he sees all beings. Seeing ourselves in God's light, we see all the wicked ways of our heart. Let our hearts be cleansed then our life will be set right. When we pursue ourselves in God's light, we see our sins of omission and commission. Then we can pray to be delivered from all. We can be very sure of this, if you do really and earnestly ask God to "search" us, he will do it. And he will search us most searchingly; and if we ask him to "try" you, he will try you, and the trial will be no light matter! We glorify God, by confessing, renouncing, and by overcoming our sins. Christians should daily examine themselves: Our prayer should be as David's. Search me, O God. When we know our sins we can then acknowledge them to God and He forgives us.

PRAYER: Lead us in the way of faith and godliness, which has been taught from the beginning, and let us continue therein for ever; contrary to "the way of the wicked", which perished: O take that way out of me, and take me out of that way; "lead me in the way everlasting."  For Lord you know the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. -Ps 1:6.

    -------------------------------------

O be careful of the heart

    Let not sin therein abide

    Search deep with thy light

And let not our sins hide

    -Brenda A.
