The Way Maker
The Lord God is my strength and He will make my feet like hinds (deer) feet. And He will make me to walk upon my high places. -Habakkuk 3:19
Although the Prophet Habakkuk had a life of poverty and famine in his time, he had one source of strength. That was the Lord God of Heaven. He looked unto the hills of God’s mercy. Among all his hardships he knew the Lord would not forsake him. The Lord is out source of strength too, in this troubled world in which we live. With Him going before us, we shall not fail to walk in the pathway of righteousness, He pulls our feet out of the net, laid private for us. He is our strength and goes before us cutting down all that may make our feet to slip. He is the “way-maker” and by His grace, He will lead us gently home to higher planes, even unto the hills of home. He knows and He cares.

THE SHAKING
Surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations; as grain is sifted in a sieve; yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. Amos 9:9 God's people are tried as grain is sifted in a sieve. Satan would love to get rid of God's people forever. The sifting process is going on today, while the chaff is being separated from the wheat. Not one of God's own shall perish. All shall be preserved that is good. Not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. The true good and gracious are kept by God's mercy. Not one of the least of believers shall be lost. Although we are sifted and winnowed, we will endure the shaking.
