God's Time
THE PROPER TIMING
“When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly. -Psalm 75:2
God will not be rushed even by his own people. He judges right, and will intervene on the part of his people. He is a perfect God and His judgments are righteous. Though it may seem that everything is out of control, God has it all in His timing and will rectify that which is wrong. We may have to endure pain, sorrow and heartaches here on earth, but in His time it will all be over, and we will be happy forever more with never another care. God will bring in our wondering children in His own time, even though it may seem impossible. God is able to do abundantly above all we are able to think of say. The wicked may think they are getting by with all their boasting and wicked ways, but God has strong warnings for them in verse 4-5. They misinterpret God's delay and think there will be no judgment, yet their day is coming in His timing. They strut around with their power and of no thought of God in their minds but their power is feeble when compared to the almighty and His great power.Yes, in God's proper time, everything will be made right. GOD'S TIMING In His time we will understand why
With never another tear or sigh In His time God will fulfill His Word
We will be free as a little bird In His time our wondering children will come in
t is now just a matter of when In His time we will fully understand our trials
We will look upon His sweet smiles In His time the wicked, our God will judge
No more the difficult way we will trudge In His time we will leave this earth
We will overflow with eternal mirth ©Brenda A. Oct. 2007

~ He Satisfies the Longing Soul ~
For he satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.. -Psalm 107: 9 When we long for something, we could go into a state of solitude, or self despair. This leads us to go to God in prayer and He completely satisfies. He gives us divine counsel and guidance. When we meet Jesus our searching is over. The Lord is good and fills the hungry soul with good things. He more than meets our demands by blessing us with an over abundance of good things. Many are the times He has helped me. He loves and desires to meet our needs and bestow upon us blessings from His storehouse of love. Let us give praise for this great love. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men. How can we refuse to bless and glorify Him for his amazing mercy. When our wondering son or daughter comes home to God or when He lifts us up out of the pit of despair how can we refuse to adore the glorious goodness of the Lord? Let us ever extol the Lord our God. There is coming a time when the whole earth shall be filled with his glory, then mankind shall be as devoted to the praise of God

A Cloud of Light
In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire. Psalm 78;14 Not for once did God leave or forsake his children coming up out of Egypt. Up out of the wilderness and on into a land that flowed with milk and honey. He gave them a cloud to guide them by day and through the fierce heat of the desert. The cloud was a shade by day and a sun by night. The entire nightlong God guided them with a light of fire and made a way for them. God’s presence went with them every step of the way. God was the strength of our great ancestors and it is good to know that God also leads us along amid the lonely horrors of life, when we are in the wilderness of affliction. Whatever our tomorrows may bring, rest assured that God will be leading the way. He is our shade upon our right hand. The sun shall not smite us by day, or the moon by night. The Lord is good to us and we are renewed by His goodness and mercy. He desires that we declare His ways to our children. That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: Make the wonderful works of the Lord known today. He is my great joy in sorrow My song in every tomorrow He cheers my heart and soul Makes me complete and whole

Fear
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. -Isaiah 35:3-4 Have you ever been in a fearful circumstance where you did not know what to do? The most fearful time of my life came a few years ago when I was home by myself and a horrible storm and tornado came through our county. I went to the closet and started praying. We did not have a basement then. Afterward I realized how the hand of God was working on my behalf. We all have fearful times in life, but God has promised to be with us and we can be over-comers when we trust in Him to help us. God comes to our aid in our times of need. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41: 10 In times of fear is when we need God. He gives us courage and strength. We can be strong and fear not. In the Bible fear is mentioned 385 times. One for each day of the year. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and sound mind. Father strengthen our weak friends and loved ones. Enable then to be strong and not to fear! For You Lord will come and save them in their time of fear. Are you afraid of sinking, Stumbling or tottering? Be strong, do not fear Jesus the Captain is very near Walk not unsteady or shakily Thought the way is precarious We will not collapse Walk on with courage Jesus Christ is our security Be strong, fear not -Brenda

Christ Our BiographerBiographer - someone who writes an account of a person's life We need not trouble to keep diaries of our good deeds or sacrifices, or to write auto-biographies with pages of record for the things we have done. We may safely let our life write its own record, or let Christ be our biographer. He will never forget anything we do, and the judgment-day will reveal everything. The lowliest services and the obscurest deeds will then be manifested. Our Lord keeps a record of all our deeds, words, thoughts and sacrifices. We are living out our live each day as God keeps record. Knowing all our faults, failures, attitudes and emotions and all about us, we will be judged by Him accordingly. What a wonderful god we serve. Let us strive to live a life that pleases God. Jesus is coming ... make sure you are prepared -Brenda

~ God Is In Our Midst ~ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Mathew 18:20 Where two or three are gathered together in my name (to worship God,) He is in the midst of them. His spirit is there to quicken their prayers, guide their counsels, and answer their petitions. Wherever and whenever we meet in the name of Christ, we should consider him as present in the midst of us. There am I in the midst - None but God could say these words, to say them with truth, because God alone is everywhere present, and these words refer to his omnipresence. In all the millions of assemblies, this promise holds true. God who fills both heaven and earth can only do this. He is there to enlighten, strengthen, comfort, and save His people. ~ TWO OR THREE~ Only two or three makes a crowd Why, because Jesus is there In the midst, hovered over us Blessing us, meeting our needs When we gather together In His Name, two or three makes a crowd
Gather the children for devotion Gather them in a family circle Jesus will be there in the midst Much will be accomplished Gathered in His Name He'll be there in the midst The presence of His Spirit -Brenda A.

The Disciplined Child or Generation Curse 1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spoke unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal, 11 There is a generation that curses their father, and doth not bless their mother. 12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. -Proverbs 30: 1,11-14 Agur talked about the generation curse. It was plagued and cursed by social ills. It seemed there was a lack of respect for parents. They seemed pure in their own eyes, but they had not been washed from filth, greed and selfishness. They had a proud look, one of the things that God hates. They are like the man who prayed and thanked God that he wasn't as the other man was, who stood proudly. This evil plagues every generation, not just Agur's. We need to do as Job did -Job 29: 14. Clothe our self in righteousness and wear justice. Rescue the poor and helpless from the wicked. Help and comfort the mourners. Much parental respect is needed today. If we do not have it we to will be a cursed generation. There needs to be much correction and discipline. An un-disciplined child shames everyone. There will be rest to the soul of the parent when we follow God's laws. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me" (Revelation 3:20 -KJV).

Arms of Love The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: Deut: 33:27 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous. Psalm 37:17 How good to know that the Lord supports and takes care of the righteous. We shall be safe, in everything we do, for God's arms uphold us. Oh yes, we are in good keeping. Calamities may come, but deliverances will come also. The righteous are the apple of His eye. God defends His children but is against the wicked. Their power to do harm shall be effectually taken away. The arms that are lifted up against God shall be crushed. His Everlasting Arms Unlimited power and hope Our God helps us to daily cope Gives daily protection Drives out enemy connection With His great consuming fire My Lord, I greatly admire His everlasting arms of Love The enemy, God will bring down He's our refuge, we will not drown In trouble to Him we flee He then sets us totally free His strong arms are open wide There we safely hide Under His everlasting arms of Love -Brenda

~God's Blessings~
The Lord blesses thee, and keeps thee. (Numbers 6:24) What a promise! He will bless and keep His children. No need to worry. That takes care of everything. When we have God's blessings on our life, we are blessed. When God keeps us, we need not worry about fear or terror. We know God is going to watch over us. He will never leave or forsake His children Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. -Proverbs 10: 6 We can pray this prayer of blessing and keeping, daily over our friends, neighbors and family. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~

~Joyful In God~ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Phil. 4:4,5 Rejoice in the Lord always! It's a command. We are to rejoice in the midst of all situations. Joy of a Christian is not based on agreeable circumstances, but on their relationship with God. Our hearts cannot help but be happy when we think of all Christ did for us, to have eternal happiness. Our trials will soon all be over and we will know perfect peace -------------- When we face trials in this life we know that God uses them to improve our spiritual character. James 1:2-4 We are told to be gentle also. Show a calm and fair spirit. When one is gentle they are willing to sacrifice their own personal rights to show consideration to others. Jesus return is soon to occur, so let us honor God always with our lives. ---------- ****************** Be encouraged! God Loves You!

LET GOD BE GOD Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? Malachi 2:17 It seems the people of Judea did not fully trust God, so they grew weary and disobedient to God. The priest had sinned and Judea committed abominations and profaned the holiness of Jehovah. God was accused of injustice. Submitting to God makes Him happy. God is wearied with people who do not submit. Those who love to argue their points against His revelations God is God and He will have the final say in all things, therefore we should be content to follow His leading. He will come personally and visibly to the earth to judge man at the judgment of the nations. Then He will destroy many for their sins. God is God and He changes not. He is perfect in holiness and justice. God does not and cannot change His original plan and purpose but he can and does change some ways and means of fulfilling the plan. We do well to leave in all in His hands. he has the perfect answer for everything that concerns us. _________________
