The Lord's Mercy
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9,10,13 Just a note to thank all who prayed for Art. He is recovering nicely, through the mercy of God.

God Has Promised Health
SURGERY DAY! My husband Arthur had surgery this week for cancer. It was a long day for us and It was spreading further than we thought. After spending time in prayer, we felt that God was going to bring him through and Art was pretty much at peace about it. The cancer was under his eye and was pretty intense, It took nine hours in the surgery room. Thank God, now it is removed and he will be on the road to recovery. God is good to us and He never fails us in our hour of need. We fail Him from time to time, but He never fails us. God has promised health and redemption from destruction. We can claim health! Psalm 103:1-5 - Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Stephen

Forgiveness
Sometimes it seems almost impossible to forgive someone that has hurt us, but God’s Word says that we must, if we want God to forgive us. Just turning it over to Jesus and letting Him handle it is the best way to deal with it. When we have Jesus thoughts in our heart, we will then forgive. When He dips His pen of love into our hearts, we want to please Him and do as He says, for He is a God of Love. His Spirit all divine will fill our sinful soul and His Love will wipe away all hurts. Do you need to forgive someone today? Let us not let a lack of forgiveness keep us from serving God. Ask God to give you the desire to forgive and then the ability to do so. Forgiveness is an act of grace that reflects God’s treatment to us. When I forgive, I release God to work directly on the other person. . . . forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32
Then Peter came and said to Him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. -Matthew 18:21-22 Peter thought he was being very generous by offering to forgive his brother seven times in one day, but Jesus said he should forgive him 490 times in one day. It would be impossible to have someone sin against you 490 times in one day. Jesus is actually saying that there should be no limit to our forgiveness. Regardless of how many times one sins against us we have to forgive and confirm our love unto him (2 Cor. 2:6-8). If God expects us to forgive our brother who has trespassed against us times in one day (actually an unlimited number of times), certainly He who is love will do no less with us. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.1 John. 4:8 “If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. -Matthew 18:15 ~~ An Evening Prayer ~~ If I have wounded any soul today, If I have caused one foot to go astray, If I have walked in my own willful way, Dear Lord, forgive! Reunion In Heaven
Yesterday was our annual Fall, Family Reunion. I always ejoy going to them and seeing relatives, that I very seldom see. It is a wonderful time when everyone shares pictures, news and good food. Sometimes I think what it will be when we all get to Heaven. What a day of rejoicing. There are so many I long to see and have a friendly talk with. There’s my grandparents, whom I miss and my brother who has only been in Heaven about a year now. Oh it is going to be so happy when we all get home to stay. It will be the best reunion of all when we see all our friends again, but best of all we will see Jesus.
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:22 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. -Rev. 3: 12 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels - 2 Thes. 1: 7 ~ Reunion In Heaven ~
What a wonderful time we’ll have up in Glory With our blessed Redeemer forever we’ll see And a crown he will give on that great judgment morning What a happy reunion in Heaven will be No crepes on the doors in that beautiful city No sorrow or pain never more ever there But a body we’ll have in the Saviour’s own likeness And a mansion Jesus said he’d go to prepare I am longing to sit by the banks of the river There’s rest for the ones by the evergreen trees I am longing to look in the face of my Saviour And my loved ones who have gone they are waiting for me - by Flatt and Scruggs
So often down here we’ll have a reunion Our loved ones and friends will be gathered around Some faces are missed. They have gone home to heaven They will be there with Jesus ’til the trumpet shall sound

Just Call and He Will Answer
Yesterday we had our block party. Everyone seemed to have good fun and fellowship while catching up on news, friends etc. I am reminded that our Heavenly Father loves for us to spend quality time with Him. He wants to show us how much He really loves and cares about our life. We can visit Him any time. The weather is always just right for a visit. He doesn’t get in a hurry for us to leave and has plenty of time to listen to us. It is good that we always have this special Friend who is available for us. Why not call upon Him today. Jer. 33:3 says… Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. God’s promises are not so slack that we cannot believe that he will answer the prayers of His people. It is promised that the people who are in sorrow, can be filled with joy. He will give all we need for suppling our temporal wants and needs. All we have to do is have faith and rest in the promise. Call unto Him today. He will rescue and save. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. -Proverbs 3:5 -7 Psalms 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Come See A Man
Come see a man, which told me all things that ever I did. He told her some things about her own life, and conscience had told her more. She felt that all was known to him, and naturally exaggerates by saying, He told me all my life. 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 4:27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 4:28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? -John 4 Come see a man who told me all things that ever I did - Our Lord had told her but a few things. His words awakened her conscience, which soon told her all the rest. Is not this the Christ? - She does not doubt of it herself, but rushes in city them to make it known ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well well He came and asked for a drink of water. ‘Sir you ask me a Samaritans daughter, my spiritual background, tells me not too have any dealings with you, you’re a Jew,. ‘If you only knew who you’re talking too, I have some water that is refreshingly new This water I give is just as a spring, eternal life to it’s drinkers will bring.’ Seeing my ignorance of spiritual things an embarrassing question this person brings. ‘Go find your husband then do bring him back.’ I answered immediately, ‘It’s a husband I lack.’ Astounded as told of my history with men. At present a lover, five husbands before then.’ ‘Incredible discernment I see you have got, I perceive you’re a prophet, I’m right am I not.’ I then spoke more of Samaritan and Jew and of the Messiah which both peoples knew, when he would come and what he would say. ‘He’s standing before you, my friend today.’ Back into town with a burning desire to tell everyone about Him ‘The Messiah’ and what’s so amazing, the town all agree.
