DO NOT BE TROUBLED
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe
in God, believe also in me. -John 14:1
The disciples seemed to be worried about
Jesus going away and were troubled. Jesus offers comfort to them by telling them
about the coming of the Holy Spirit which would give them peace. There is no
reason for us to be troubled today. Our Lord is surely coming back again just as
He said he would do. Our heart can rejoice and be glad. He is preparing a
mansion for all who believes in God, and will come again to receive us unto
himself. Then we shall ever be with the Lord in a world without end. Do not be
troubled or afraid.

Stone Throwing
So when they continued asking him, he lifted
up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first
cast a stone at her. -John 8:7
Jesus knew their hearts. He knew all about
their many sins. The people were trying to make hem selves look good by
condemning the poor woman. Jesus shows compassion on her and we find all the
accusers leaving. They remembered their sins then. The light was shining deep
into their hearts and sins were found. When God turns on the light it makes a
difference. Everyone needs to take inventory and clean out the sins of life for
we are created for a purpose. To be a witness and glory for Jesus.

TURN TO GOD
And it shall come to pass that whosoever
shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. -Acts 2:21
We have a wonderful plan of salvation fixed
for us. It is free and paid for by the precious Blood of Jesus. All one
must do is call upon that wonderful Name of Jesus. Salvation is made available
to all mankind, to all whom the Lord shall call. Have you heard His voice
calling to you. If so it is time to seek the Lord's mercy and pardon which is
extended to all the human race. Accept this great plan of salvation. Why die
lost in your sins. Turn to Him now. You'll be glad you did.

THORNS IN THE FLESH
There was given unto me a thorn in my flesh,
a messenger of Satan to torment me. 2 Corinthians 12:7
Paul was give a thorn to bear, lest he
become exalted in himself. The Lord wants to keep us humble and He knows just
what to do. Sometime in our flesh we too have a thorn to bear, but God will
never put more on us than we are able to bear. O Satan can only go so far
and he cannot cross the Bloodline. God's Hand is upon our life if we are living
for Him, and after we have gone through so much He will intervene. Can't you
just hear Him saying, "That's enough Satan, they are mine. There shall be
no more briars".

The Best Resolution
Get your heart in its best condition for the coming year. David said: O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise; this is my glory. -Psalm 108:1
In our ever changing world the Christian can be able, to say, "O God, my heart is fixed. "My heart is fixed." The word in the Hebrew signifies, first, ready, or prepared. Let us get ready and prepared to sing and give praise to God as we meditate on Him daily. It will make us so much more happier, holier, stronger and bolder. Make a habit of praise. This is the Christian's guard against depression and temptation. What can the tempter do with one whom he finds rejoicing in God? Let your life be a living sacrifice to God for "We can do all things through him that
strengthens us." Let God be exalted in your life. Ps 108:5: Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.
