A NEW YEAR TO CELEBRATE
Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound. They shall walk O Lord in the light of thy countenance. -Psalm 89:15 What peace and joy to have heard the joyful sound of our Lord calling us to come worship Him! The children of Israel had a feast of trumpets blowing to come celebrate their Sabbath, and New Year coming in. They were reminded of God's mercies and how they would sustain them in the coming year if they kept His covenant. -Leviticus 23:15 As we walk in God's Light, we too rejoice knowing that God is here for us too. Blow the trumpets. Make a memorial for the Lord our God, for we walk in His Light. Make a joyful noise, sing and praise our God, the King of all kings. Heaven and earth. He has given to us Salvation and we walk in the Light of His countenance. HAPPY NEW YEAR

GOD WITH US
Behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, "God with us." Matthew 1:24
A wonderful thing happened the day Jesus Christ was born. God in Heaven chose for a virgin named Mary to bring the Son of God into the world to be with us. His coming brought the world joy, because, "God is with us." In the person of Jesus Christ. He was the incarnate Son of God, Immanuel. Who was also the "Prince of Peace. Yes, He brought eternal peace to earth through the establishment of His kingdom. Immanuel, God with us. His kingdom shall last forever. His kingdom shall reign on earth. The earth will be filled with grace and glory, for God is with us. We shall never have a burden or care for God is with us". Oh happy day when God comes once again to reign forever more. The world will finally know peace and joy forever more. Glad Day, God with us! His kingdom is coming!

THE ANGEL VISIT
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the Angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife. -Matthew 1:24
Joseph was a troubled man. Even though Joseph was a good just man he needed help that could come from no where, but God. He obeyed the voice of the Angel and his life calmed down. He carried out God's will concerning Jesus, with help that could come from no where but God.
Joseph the lowly carpenter in Nazareth was to become the "legally , but not physical" father of Jesus. He was raised from his sleep and obeyed God.
God our Heavenly Father will be there for us in our time of need. He knows all that concerns us. Arise from sleep. Listen to the still small voice as He directs your daily life. Just as God sent His Angel to help Joseph, He'll do it for you. Our help comes from the Lord our Refuge who is a very present help in trouble.

WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?
If God be for us, who can be against us. Romans 8:36
One thing we know is that God is for His children. He is! Who then can harm us? O Satan is defeated when he tries to accuse us and wreak our life. We have God on our side fighting our battles. No evil can avail. We do not have to live in fear for in Christ our Lord we have life abundant. Only rebel not against the Lord. Fear not, for defense has departed from the enemy.
If God be for us, who can be against us. No evil cans stand in the presence of our Lord. Therefore I will look unto the Lord, I will wait for the God of my Salvation: my God will hear me. Who can be against me? Who, tell me who?

GOD IS THERE FOR US
Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost, that come unto God by Him seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them. -Hebrews 7:25
Jesus our Lord is always there for us, praying for us so that we can make it over the rough way that leads home. He goes before us opening up the way. All we have to do is follow an commit our way to him. The Lord will help us and deliver us from the wicked. He will save us because we trust Him. He will give us the desires of our heart too.. Oh how sweet it is to trust in Him, no matter what the day may bring, for He is able to save. Ask Him to save you today.
