Instep With The Lord

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his ways. -Psalm 37:23

The Lord guards the feet of his faithful servants, while putting to shame the wicked. He brings us out into a spacious place and rescues us. He will never leave or forsake His own. Why? because he delights in us. We have no reason to fear because the Lord instructs us in the way we should go through the Word. He will not let our feet slip, but will lift us out of the pit of sin and set our feet upon a rock. We can depend on Him to always provides a strong place to stand.

God delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. If we will only obey His commands and be steadfast, His favor will rest upon us. Rest assured that He will preserve our lives and kept our feet from slipping when we walk in the Light of the Lord. May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us.

Our Peace Is In Christ

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. -Ephesians 2:13 

No matter how far you may have drifted you can still come back to God, as we know one cannot stay happy in that condition. You may be afar off, while your soul sinks lower, but there is hope. He is the only way to peace and by His Redeeming Blood. He came to bring peace to you who were far away and peace to those who are near.

When one comes back to God the sweet harmony will be restored. Christ will be the lover of our soul and oh what sweet fellowship to lean on His everlasting arms of love. Acts 2:39 -The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."

He Will Do It Again

...Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Eph. 6:10

We all fight the good fight of faith on our journey home. Sometimes it seems that troubles are on every side. We are sometimes fearful during all the trials, struggles and fights of life. We must remember that God is on our side. He said "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. II Kings 6:16" We are sufficient in Him along.

He is our strength and has angels encamped around all those that fear Him. He will come to our rescue and deliver us again and again when we trust Him. If our spiritual eyes could only see into the Spirit realm we might behold a mountain full of horses and chariot as Elisha had around him. Many have gone before us and fought the good fight of faith and were made strong. He will do it again for us!

What is Life?

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: But the word of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. -1 Peter 1:24.25

What is life? Here today and gone tomorrow it seems - very temporary down here on earth. We know not when our life will be over, but we do know it is short compared to eternity. Just like the grass we all will eventually wilt and die, so we better get our mind on the things of God an not man. but one thing for sure, God's Holy Word will last forever.  We should treasure it for therein is life eternal. In the Word we find hope and peace. In the Word we read of those who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age. Let us proclaim the Word which brings eternal dividends. 

The God of peace be with you all. Amen. -Romans 15:33

God's Un-searchable Ways

..for, "Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ. -1 Corinthians 2:16

God's ways are beyond our comprehension so the answer is "no one". No intellect can figure Him out for He is God. He needs no counselor because He is owner and maker of everything. It is He who hung the earth in space when it was formless and empty and darkness prevailed.  Heaven and earth obey Him.  What a mighty God we have that watches over all things, and all things are obedient to His commands. Only the Holy Spirit can give us revelation of our great God. The Holy Spirit will reveal unto us things that we are to know. Such knowledge is obtained by coming to the Cross. Is the Cross the object of your faith? 

I look but there is no one-- no one among the gods to give counsel, no one to give answer when I ask them. -Isaiah 41:28

God Delivers the Righteous

The righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. -Psalm 34: 17

Take your problems to the Lord. There's not a friend like the One in Jesus. He never fails us. He hears our cries and brings our soul out of prison that it may praise the Lord. You may be in trouble with no where to turn. Bring it to Jesus. His grace is sufficient.

The Lord loves and cares for the righteous. He will not forsake them. The answer may not always be what we would like, but it's best for us. What the Lord does is good. He will deliver you so take your needs to the Lord and leave the there.  What a precious friend is Jesus!

Rejoice Child of God

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. -Colossians 3:4

What a day that will be! We shall behold all His glory and see Him as He is. We wait for that blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then every Saint will be given a glorified body that never grows old or wears out. Shout Hallelujah to the King! By His power we now live and are shielded unto the time when this is brought forth.

Down here on earth we may have to endure much suffering and reproach, but it is nothing compared to that which is to be revealed. The Holy Spirit is with us to help us bear our cross until the day our eyes behold His beauty. We will be overjoyed! Our troubles are only for a short while and just think of all the achievement that it will bring forth on that final day. The eternal glory will far outweigh them all. There'll be no more war, but everything will be peace.  Rejoice dear friend for it will all be glory by and by.

Look to God for Help. He Will Not Fail You

Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3:5-6

We need someone to help us. we cannot make it on our own, so we must look to God. There comes times in everyone's life when we need an answer. We do not have the answers for all of life's problems but God does. We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, believing he is able and wise to do what is best in every situation. He knows and He cares.
If He cares for each little sparrow that falls, then how much more does He not care for His children who are made in His image. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding.
