Break Up The Fallow Ground
This is what the Lord says to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem: “Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns. -Jeremiah 4:3
This is a metaphor taken from plow-men.The Lord is saying to them that it is time to rid their hearts and hands of what may hinder them of embracing God's word. An unhumbled heart is like ground untilled. It is ground which may be improved, and it is our ground let out to us, but it is fallow. Is your heart corrupt and over-grown with thorns and weeds? Let us ask the Lord to create in us a clean heart, and to renew a right spirit within us; for except a man be born again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Hosea 10:12 Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matthew 13:7 "Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out.

Season For Everything In Life
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: -Ecclesiastes 3:1 We live in a changing world. To bring ourselves to our state in life, is our duty and wisdom in this world. Then God's whole plan for the government of the world will be found altogether wise, just, and good.
Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said to myself, "God will judge both the righteous man and the wicked man," for a time for every matter and for every deed is there. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ecclesiastes 8:6 For there is a proper time and procedure for every delight, though a man's trouble is heavy upon him.
